Rich's Rugs

I cannot say enough good things about Rich. He is knowledgeable, professional, always on time, and very reasonably priced. He does his best to give you the most bang for your buck and the quality and installation is impeccable. He came to our house with the all the carpet samples and helped us choose. He measured and gave an estimate all in the same day. We have used him in the past to install carpet and laminate in the basement, and this was our second time using him to install carpet in large areas of our house and stairs. If the need ever arises we will use him again and recommend him to all our family and friends.

Right on time, did an amazing job stretching the carpet. Couldn't be happier. It looks like new again even though it was a pretty challenging job. Definately recommend!!!

We had sent pictures of the areas in need of repair and Rich provided a quote ($200). Rich first fixed the basement problem (carpet had frayed along the finishing strip between carpet and tiles) while explaining as he went along. He removed the old brass-colored strip, installed a new tack-strip, stretched and trimmed the carpet, and applied a beige vinyl finishing strip that matches the tiles. Looks so much better. Upstairs, Rich explained the root cause of bubbling carpet and applied several fixes around the room. Carpet looks smooth. While settling the bill, Rich explained he had used more materials than planned but would honor his quote. We asked and got advise on carpet cleaning (just bought the house). When we learned that Rich also installs carpet, we knew he was going to be the provider and installer; there is just something about a "Honest CraftsMan".

I could not recommend Rich more. I have used him on 4 occasions between my house and multiple rental properties. Rich is a perfectionist when measuring and laying out a job site. He will measure and sketch out the entire job in an effort to most effectively install carpets while placing seams in a low traffic area in an effort to reduce the overall amount of carpet you need to purchase. Each time Rich has come to a job he seems to have an endless supply of sample boards to show you carpet options. He is willing to take the time to explain the differences and happy to offer his opinion without pushing a product on you. I know people tend to gravitate to big box stores but you are always taking a chance on the installer you are assigned. Rich may be a little bit more expensive per square yard than a sale at a big box but you make that back with how precise Rich's measuring. With every job he has done I have been very happy with the minimal amount of remnants.

Rich was fantastic. Very professional and responsive. He came over the same day and took a look at the issue and then came back the next morning and fixed it. It was a small job which most contractors don't want to be bothered with but he did a fantastic job.

Showed up late the day of installation, but was still able to get his partner working immediately and most of the old stuff made it out to the curb for the trash truck! Worked right up to the wall under baseboard heaters. Beautiful vacuum job to clean up and any other trash was bagged securely. Thanks again Rich!

Great-Rich brought samples to the home for us to review the day we called him, and started installation less than a week later. Everything went really well!

Rich is awesome and it was an absolute pleasure to work with him. Not only is the product fantastic but Rich did an amazing job. I was eight and a half months pregnant and we were moving into a new house. Rich made sure this got done ASAP, nearly working all night. Rich also worked with us to get a good price, at Lowes this would have been 10k and the quality wouldn't be nearly as good. I can't say enough good things about Rich. He was practically family by the end of the project. I don't normally post reviews but I think it's well deserved here. We have a few more things to fix up in the new place and I will actively look for a way to use Rich. You will not be disappointed if you go with Rich's Rugs. Great guy, great price, great product and great result!

Rich was so helpful and friendly. He came to the house and provided us with samples and an estimate. He was responsive in getting back to us when the carpet arrived and went out of his way to get the carpet installed before our house went up for sale. I love the carpet and am sad that we can't take it with us!!!

Great experience, Rich is in constant contact with you for when delivery of carpet is to him and when he will install. He shows up on site when stated, works nonstop the entire time he is their and he also goes above and beyond to assure you are satisfied with your installation. The quality of work is a 10, he had his nephew with him on this day and he was a hard worker as well. Nothing is left undone and he does everything he says he is going to do. Best carpet guy out there hands down. I am going to use him again to place runner on my steps. Do not hesitate to call Rich for your carpet, you will be 100% satisfied.

Perfectly. Rich came in at the time he said he would and worked incredibly quickly but without sacrificing quality at all! He was very focused on getting the job done right, while maintaining a professional and friendly manner. He even returned the following day to correct a small issue that he did not have to help with, but wanted to. That was going above and beyond! One last thing, I mentioned this before, but he worked incredibly fast! I mean he arrived at 9am and was out (carpet installed, area cleaned, and tools in the truck) by around 1130am. I thought this was going to be an all day thing considering how much space he needed to cover and with all the strange nooks and crannies, so I was a bit shocked to see the beautiful transformation of my home done so quickly. (side note: Rich's Rug was contracted by Keystone Floor Works (who I also highly recommend) to do this work. The owner of Keystone, Dan, said Rich is the best guy he has for carpet work- and always leaves the customer's satisfied. For Dan to give that type of praise says a lot about both men and their companies.)

I had Rich come out and do my basement carpeting. I was so impressed with Rich and his crew that I had them come back out the following month to carpet the rest of the house. Rich was very friendly, professional, and easy to get along with -- he always aims to please the customer.

We had Rich once before and we knew we wanted him again. He helped us find the right carpet and gave us a reasonable estimate on the spot. Rich and his crew were great - very respectful, concerned about the impact on the house, quiet and definitely wanting to make sure we were happy. They put everything back the way they found it (maybe even better) and didn't leave until we were completely satisfied. Rich takes great care in his customer service and we will always use him for this type of work.

Rich and team were extremely professional and thorough. At the consultation Rich walked us through the product offerings and had we appreciated his no-nonsense approach after having been through several other carpet consultations where we felt like the sales people were just trying to sell us versus trying to find a product to fit our needs. Rich also worked with our tight timeline to get our carpet installed prior to us moving into our new place. On the day of installation he and his team arrived on time and completed the job ahead of schedule and did a great job. It's been 4 months since the install and we are still super happy with the product and the quality of the installation. Thanks Rich!!

Excellent - Rich and his assistants did an expert job getting rid of the pretty extreme ripples in my my carpet. They had to move furniture and many other items and put things back together really well. The carpet looks great! Rich is a real pro and we would definitely hire him again!

Rich was very responsive and prompt. It was extremely convenient having Rich come on a weeknight to fit into my schedule, and it allowed us to see how each carpet color from his boards looked in our actual house, against our wall colors. And once the carpets arrived, scheduling an installation time was easy. Rich and his crew were very polite and kept the house neat during the installation. I would definitely recommend Rich for all carpet needs.
