He was friendly, punctual, professional, knowledgeable, good work and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend him. The best part was he was able to come quickly within 2 working days and he was efficient and did good work. He will be my first and only call for carpet needs going forward.

I have never met a contractor that cared more about the customer as Rich. Not only was he helpful in helping plan, buy, and install the carpeting I needed, he was very punctual and efficient. Rich's work was excellent. He was very reasonably priced and fit me into his schedule almost immediately. He clearly cares about his workmanship and takes pride in making sure the job is done right the first time. I'd absolutely hire him again.

End to end was a smooth process. Hired Rich to install a runner on a flight of stairs, fully carpet another set of stairs, and replace carpet in a walk-in closet. Communication was easy and prompt. I was in a bit of a rush to get everything installed and Rich did everything he could to meet that date, which I appreciated. He also took the time to describe and show me the difference in install methods for the runner (we chose waterfall). Install day was quick and clean. At the end, I had a difference of opinion on the way the runner ended at the top of the stairs (we had cove molding under each step). Rich discussed with me, told me what he could try to do, and proceeded with no complaints. I understood why he didn’t go that route initially as it required removing molding. The finish ended up perfect.

Rich did a fantastic job seaming up my rug and putting new padding where it was ripped up. You’d never know the rug was cut after Rich got done repairing it. I’d highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience with getting our new stair runner installed! Rich was right on time, great communicator, and very detail oriented. Our runner was in three sections, and Rich ensured there was a seamless transition from one to the other. Very pleasant to work with, tidied up before he left. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Honestly, it couldn't have gone better. Rick is FANTASTIC. He was out to my place less than 2 days after I spoke with him on the phone; he responded to my email from Angie's list within 1/2 day. His workmanship was superior than what I had hoped for -- it was a tough job and he made it look seamless (pun intended!) Super nice guy, cares about the quality of work, very knowledgeable, punctual and price competitive. If I ever need a carpet install, he will be the guy.

Rich was great, he called ahead to let us know he was on his way and arrived on time. He started right away taking doors down and tearing up the old carpet n padding. He even sweated up the floor be for laying the new padding. I have never had a contractor so efficient, wish I could give him an A+++, he deserves it, I would recommend him to anyone. Rich was very friendly and professional from the quote process to the install. He had lots of samples and worked with me and my wife to help guide our decision on which process point was right for us. He was on time and cleaned up after himself on the install day. I would recommend Rich to anyone with carpet install needs.

How did it go? Absolutely amazing. Rich is an awesome man and excellent at his craft. This is the third time I have had him back to install carpet in my home. If that doesn't say something...I do not know what will. His attention to detail is something that you do not see that often. If I could give Rich higher than an A, I would! He was extremely quick to reply to my inquiry and was able to come to my house that same evening to talk through my project and write up a quote. He bought numerous samples and was able to talk through the nuances of each product, pros and cons as well as how they would work in the room I was having done. He arrived on time, was kind and personable, and was able to get me on the schedule same week. On the day of service, he came out even in bad weather (early, even! I can’t even get my trash picked up in this weather) and did a quick, quality, and efficient job. He cleaned up after himself and left us with a beautiful new carpet. Rich is fantastic. We needed new carpet for the entire second floor and staircase of our home. We wanted a quick turnaround due to the holidays coming up. Rich got back to me the same day and was in our home with samples a day later. We looked a couple others and nobody came close in terms of responsiveness, options, service, and attitude. We hired Rich on the spot. Rich is honest, direct, and down-to-earth. He won't up-sell you or rip you off. He's a talker - but it's because he's genuinely interested in making sure you're getting what you want - with the best possible quality - at a price point that works for you. He took his time doing measurements to figure out the best possible scenarios to keep quality up and costs down. He gave us several options. When we made our selection, he was back in less than a week to do the job - tearing out the old carpet and laying down the new. And they were in and out same day. They did great work and we are very pleased with our new carpet. I highly recommend Rich's Rugs. Great service, high quality product and workmanship, fair prices, and great personality and attitude.

Rich was very accommodating and graciously provided us with a quote the same day we called and replaced all of the carpet padding just 2 days later at a much more reasonable price than two other companies we contacted. It was a pleasure working with Rich and we look forward to working with him on our stairs runners.

Rich was professional and punctual with his communication from the moment I contacted him requesting an estimate for the job. He worked with my schedule to measure the area and provide various samples of carpet. I was able to find the perfect match in both color, texture, and quality that I was looking for at a fair and affordable price. Rich also allowed my husband and I to take our time in making a decision; we never felt rushed or pressured! The job was completed in a timely and thorough manner, and the finished product was perfect. I am in love with my new basement and I would hire Rich and his team again!

As always, Rich did a wonderful job. I had actually decided to go with a linoleum product, but, after talking with the manufacturer (will guarantee ONLY if absolutely no cravasses - and these were clicked together!), I called Rich. He provided a non-toxic, pet proof carpet that is beautiful! This is the third time we have used Rich's services and recommend him to the nth degree!!!

Rich is knowledgeable, humble, polite and responsive. He sold us great carpet at a fair price. He and his crew were perfect gentlemen while they were in our home for many hours installing it. They left everything clean and well organized. I would hire Rich again and I would refer him to friends. We first met Rich after calling him and arranging for him to bring carpet samples to our house. He arrived on time for our appointment and brought many samples with him. He also invited us to view even more samples in a showroom (though we found what we wanted in the samples Rich brought to the house). He explained the differences among the samples but didn't seem to be pushing any of them. He encouraged us to walk on the larger samples and to take them into the rooms where we would have them installed to see what they looked like in those rooms. Rich measured the three rooms. We were planning to use the same carpet in all three rooms. He worked diligently to calculate and re-calculate the amount of carpet to buy so we would have the fewest seams and the least left over. We picked a carpet and asked him to order it for us. Our meeting was not rushed at all. When the installation day arrived Rich called saying he was about 10 minutes late because of traffic on Rt 422. He arrived exactly 10 minutes late - I thought it was surprisingly considerate that he called given how close he was going to be on time anyway. He brought extra help with him to assist with our furniture. Rich and his guys cheerfully moved whatever needed to be moved (and later replaced it all). They were all pleasant visitors in our house and worked steadily from the moment they arrived. We didn't want to pay the dump to take our old carpets (our trash guys said they'd take them if we just waited until trash day) so Rich neatly cut all the old carpet and padding all up into manageable sized rolls and stacked it outside where I asked him to. The new carpets look great and Rich left the house clean and organized. I cannot think of anything he could have done to make this easier for us. I don't often take the time to write a review but sometimes someone just does such a great job that it would be wrong not to write one.

Rich worked magic on unsightly stretched out and buckled carpet and made it look newly installed. He was prompt, professional, exacting in his work, as well as personable and friendly. I could not be more satisfied and would highly recommend Rich. I would most definitely have Rich back to my home if I was in need of any other carpet-related service.

Rich was phenomenal. He was very accommodating with setting up an appointment that matched my schedule. He was meticulous with replacing a section of the stained carpet with a new piece that I had on hand. The job is beautiful. You can’t even see a seam and the overall work is beautifully done. I will definitely use Rich again to purchase carpets for my house.

While we weren't able to use Rich for this particular job, we would recommend Rich based on his knowledge, product and reasonable pricing. He was professional and personable, and we look forward to the next opportunity to bring him in.

Rich is very knowledgeable when it comes to carpet and installation. He's very passionate about his work and it shows in the outcome. Today I had two bedrooms carpeted and couldn't be happier. The carpet looks great in both rooms! This is my second time using Rich, as he installed carpet in my family room a few years back and it was a no brainer to call him again!
