Great experience from start to finish. The price was very fair for the quality of the rug and pad. Rich did the work himself with his brother and nephew. A family business and all very great guys. They arrived on time for estimate and on install date. They were very careful and very neat and tidy. All had very good attitudes and were super friendly. I enjoyed having them in my house. The work took five hours. Rich guarantees his work and will come back to address and concerns if they come up. The new rugs looks great. I highly recommend this company.

Rich of Rich's Rugs paid attention to every aspect of the job. It was not an easy job, because the job on the 2nd floor landing was not a wall-to-wall carpeting but a replacement of a very specific and peculiar cut-out rug placement. Rich took careful measurements on his first visit, but as he was cutting out the carpet in his workshop, noticed that the existing shape of the rug placement is not symmetrical at all. So he returned for a second measurement, making sure that the replacement would fit exactly on the peculiar shape in place now. He attends to every detail of what you want, explains his recommendations thoroughly, and goes out of his way to give you the best supplies and workmanship that he can. His team is a close-knit team and very professional. We are extremely happy with our carpeting and would recommend him anytime.

From start to finish Rich did an Outstanding job. Truthfully, I've been nothing but impressed by his attention to detail, knowledge of the product, professionalism and customer service attitude. I initiated contact with him about 6 weeks before the work was to be done after I was under contract on a new home. I moved from TX to PA and did all my discussion with him over the phone. All my communication with Rich was via text or phone for many weeks until we relocated just a few days before the work was to be done. While we were on a house hunting trip I called Rich for the first time and he recommended that I take a look at some carpet while I was in town. I went to one of the two stores he does a lot of work with and we found a few carpets we liked. We were in a rush so we didn't get a chance to look at the other store he worked with (Northeast Flooring). After we got back to TX and several discussions later, based on our requirements, Rich recommended a different carpet brand that was similar to what we looked at but he felt like was a better product and was the same price. Before any money had exchanged hands, Rich mailed a decent expense two large display boards to TX so we could see and feel the product before making a decision. He truly does want the customer to be 100% happy with the carpet they buy. No surprise, we liked the carpet as good or better and decided to go with a bigger brand name that carried a longer warranty. Our move timeline was very tight as the movers would be arriving at the new home July 5th with our goods. This gave Rich only immediately after a late afternoon closing July 2nd, all day July 3rd and get this...Rich offered to work on July 4th because he knew we needed all the carpets installed before the movers arrived on the 5th. He knew our timeline and assured us that he would do whatever it took to make sure he was finished by the 4th. Everything happened exactly according to plan. He and his crew arrived at 4pm on July 2nd and worked tirelessly for several hours removing all the carpet and pad. They also ripped up the hardwood flooring panel by panel in the upstairs bedroom and were very careful not to damage walls or molding. July 3rd they worked all day and laid pad in the entire house and finished carpeting the basement. They came for about half a day on July 4th and finished the job. Everything went according to plan and we could not be happier with our product. Overall, the price paid between his labor and the Northeast Flooring was lower than the big box stores and we ended up better product that was installed with someone who stands behind his work. Highly recommended. You may see that Rich currently has zero reviews under an A (believe me, I was also skeptical). However, I've found out that there is a good reason why is is rated so highly...he absolutely deserves it.

I would rate the overall quality of service and the carpet installed as outstanding. It was difficult to fully believe the number of past excellent reviews that Rich received on Angie's List. However, after experiencing the work performed by Rich's Rugs the reviews were well deserved. I would recommend Rich's Carpets to all of my family and friends without hesitation. Based on the quality of service that Rich provided we are having him supply and install carpet in our family room.

We just bought a new house, and as soon as we moved in, realized that our child was allergic to cats, which the previous owner had. The carpet had to come up immediately. I called Rich on a Wednesday, pretty much in a panic, and Rich told me he would find a way to squeeze me in that week. He not only came - he came on Saturday morning, and ripped up the carpet. The rip up was done really well - no staples or nails were left, he swept up, and offered to put padding down until the new carpet came in so my child could sleep in his room. There was no pressure to buy from him. He showed me all of my options, in all price ranges, and even suggested one of the lower-priced ones. He came back the following week and installed the carpet. The carpet looks great. Most importantly, Rich is a pleasure to work with. He was responsive, walked me through the whole process, called to confirm, showed up when he said he would, brought a partner (Mike) who was also a pleasure. I will definitely use him again.

Rich and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They tore out & replaced carpet in 5 rooms plus the staircase & hallway. On the initial appointment, Rich was very informative regarding my options and did not try to oversell on amount or quality. On the day of the install, they arrived on time, were professional, & very neat. They moved all my furniture and made sure everything was back in place exactly they way I wanted it. Everything looks great. Communication was A+. I would definitely use again.

They did a pretty good job. I thought they were responsive, reliable, and they were able to meet the deadline of installing the carpet for me. They did a good job, they worked with the painter to figure out the timing. The only negative comment I have is that you can still feel the tacking underneath the carpet on the stairs. I feel they didn't tack it down properly.

It was a great experience working with Rich. He is a nice person and isn't pushy and is very honest. We had the carpet installed in a condo that we are putting up for sale. He was prompt and knowledgeable and very interested in pleasing his customers. He and his nephew did a great job and it only took 1 1/2 hrs. I went with a slightly upgraded carpet because I just wanted the property to look really good so didn't go with builders grade. It was not that much more expense. We plan on having carpeting installed in our house and will definitely be calling Rich to do the job.

Rich was very helpful in making the decision of which carpet to buy. He was responsive to all questions and worked within our schedule. The installation was done quickly and professionally. The workmanship was of excellent quality. All edges were well done and the seam that was required was invisible. He even solved a problem we had always had with the room being a slightly lower level than the adjoining room. We couldn't be happier with all aspects of the work that was done. They were quiet and respectful of our home and thorough in cleaning up after themselves and returning our furniture to where it belonged. We would absolutely recommend Rich's Rugs to any of our friends and neighbors. The whole process was faster, easier and more pleasant than we would have guessed, and that's always a good thing.

I cannot say enough good things about Rich's Rugs. We were so pleased with the entire process ~ from Rich coming out to the house and patiently showing us numerous rug samples to the installation process. My carpets look great a year later and were installed perfectly. Rich is very professional and friendly and has a great crew that work with him. We are very pleased-quality work, reasonable price. I will definitely use Rich's Rugs again and have already recommended him to several people.

This was the first time I was getting rugs installed in my apartment, and I was satisfied with the service. Rich was very professional and punctual. Additionally, he always called about 30 minutes before any appointment to let me know he was on his way. He was very patient and allowed me to take my time when making my selection while describing the options and answering questions I had. Furthermore, Rich also provided many options. I did not feel rushed when dealing with him which was not always the case with other vendors. The installation itself was quick and painless. I should also mention that his staff demonstrated the same professionalism and care during the installation. Finally, they cleaned up after their work The final result was a definite improvement for the apartment. I recommend them for any rug work any others may have.

From the first initial contact with Rich's Rugs I knew going forward, the whole process from sales to installation was going to be a good experience. He came out with samples promptly, placed the order and set the install date. In fact, we had to delay the install date cause our painting prep work was going slower than expected (in the future, hire a painter, easier than doing it yourself!!) On June 9th Rich arrived at 9am as promised with his workers. Very professional, efficient and quality work. They cleaned up, hauled the old carpet to the curb and were on their way to the next client. I have one more bedroom that needs carpeting and Rich will again be our carpet contractor. A pleasure to do business with.

3 man team got all work done very professional manner . They worked quickly and wouldn't leave till I was satisfied with all that was done. I made new friends today and would recommend their work.

I called Rich and he promptly returned my call. We scheduled a time for him to come to my house to look at some samples. He arrived on time and helped us pick a carpet that was right for my home. When the carpet came in he called and we shechuled a time for the installation, once again, he did not disappoint. He and his crew arrived on time and the installation went smooth as silk and looks great. Rich called a week later as a followup to see if everything was still OK. Overall a great job from start to finish and I would definitely recommend Rich to others and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Rich is awesome! This us the second job he did for us, and a pretty small job at that. Rich cane out the very next day with samples, helped me make a decision, and was out the next day to lay carpet on steps. He also had a matching runner bound for us. He's honest, doesn't upsell, and generally cares about his customers. Once we are ready to replace the rest of our carpets, Rich will be my first and only call.

I found Rich here on Angie's List. Rich had come out to do work in our duplex twice. This review will be for both jobs he did. It will be lengthy. He called promptly, made an appointment to come out and go over samples and options with me. He was very courteous, professional, friendly and accommodating. He was excellent with working around my schedule and even worked with me when a last minute hair appointment became available that I just couldn't turn down. He had no issue with pushing back the estimate a bit. At the time I had 4 dogs and had to put 3 outside and leave one on a leash in the house with us. He was great with tolerating my dog and even went as far as getting down on the floor and playing with him. For a house that is a revolving door foster home for the city's municipal animal shelter, it can sometimes be a circus. This did not phase Rich. He measured the 2nd floor and gave an estimate by which carpet I had chosen. I explained to Rich that we at the time had a hospice foster dog that was having issues with holding his urine and we would be waiting until he had passed away before installing new carpets. Not only was he sympathetic to our needs, he was also compassonate about the situation. My husband and I foster hospice dogs and one of the reasons we needed new carpets in the first place was from the result of another incontinent dog that we had lost in November. He was patient while he stood in the hallway, I brought my dogs inside and then put my in laws dog outside. He measured their space, gave an estimate and was equally as courteous, professional, friendly and accommodating with the second estimate. He did the 1st floor duplex first and my in laws could not be more happy. They said this is the best carpet installation team they have ever used in their 30 years as home owners. The second floor was done in the same manner as the 1st floor. Everything was done exactly as requested and they went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy. Additionally, in our basement a foster dog had torn up quite a large piece of carpet. We had carpet left over but did not ave padding. Rich brought us some of his own and fixed the area so it looked as good as new. If I could hire Rich to do everything, I would. Thank you for the excellent work, great work ethic, professionalism and outstanding outcome.

I badly needed new rugs for my small home. I found Rich's Rugs through a search here on Angie's List. Rich was very responsiveness, very courteous and helpful, in outlining all I would need, what needed to be done, and how much it would take. He showed me a range of options, explained the pros and cons of each. On the day of installation, Rich was prompt (actually, a few minutes early). He and his crew did a thorough and professional job, attending to all the little details that we had discussed. It was a difficult job, as the rug and padding were very old. They were even done sooner than I expected. And they did great work. I am very satisfied with the new rugs, it makes an amazing difference in the appearance of the room. Everyone who enters compliments the new rugs and the job they did. I highly recommend Rich's Rugs. I would use them again, and when my 2nd floor is ready to have the rugs replaced there, Rich is who I am calling. An A+ job, by an A+ company.

Rich installed carpet to our entire finished basement about one year ago. We have had a great experience at that time and no problems with his work and the carpet is holding up well in a high traffic area. Unfortunately, one of our cats recently ripped up a small section under a door where the carpet transitions to a linoleum floor. Based on our previous experience it was easy to call Rich back and ask for a repair. He responded to my call immediately and was out to my house in a couple days to complete the repair. He called to let me know he was on the way, showed up on time, and got to work. Instead of just patching the small damaged area Rich cut a new strip of carpet from leftover material (which he had wisely advised me to keep) and somehow created a seamless transition between the old carpet and new piece. There is absolutely no seam or visible evidence that he was even here. After a second great experience with Rich I would highly recommend his services and will not hesitate to use him again myself in the future.

Rich contacted us immediately after our phone call to obtain service. He arrived within a few days to review the situation. Noticing the step, Rich corrected the problem immediately. Rich gave us excellent advice as how to best resolve the rippling effect problem. He explained why it would be the best way to correct the issue. Rich scheduled us very quickly. The repair made the whole room look better. It has been two weeks since the service and the rug looks wonderful. Rich is a nice guy, very professional and customer service oriented. Each of the people on Rich's team were very polite and they worked clean. After the job was done Rich reviewed all the work with us and made sure that we were pleased with the work. He expressed that he was grateful for the work. We would use this company again as well as recommend him for work in our neighborhood.

Rich's Rugs did a great job!!! They were very punctual and did exactly what they said they would. They were professional, cleaned everything up, and fully explained the services. I would not hesitate to use Rich's Rugs again. Both Rich and Mike were friendly and showed up right on time. They got to work right away and did not make a mess of our house. It was nice to see that they swept up the dirt from the old carpet prior to putting down the new carpet. They did an amazing job on the stairs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a large or small carpet project. Our project was not very big, but they treated us great. Great job!!!

Rich was great ! He answers his phone and calls you right back. After my first call he did forget to come here but he came all the way to atco from philly on a sunday night right after he just got home from cherry hill. He explain the different material of carpet and gave suggestion. We like what he had to say , he was helpful and he knows his stuff. He was happy to see we had removed the old carpet and even happier that we had removed all the staples. He waited about 3 weeks for us to get a vanity installed and sheet rock and painting done. When finish I called him and he gave us an install date for a week later and that he be here at 9. He called us twice to let us know he was running late due to a backup at warehouse to pick up rug. He was here by 9:40. He did a beautiful job ,explained everything he did and said if we needed anything to give him a call. His workmen were friendly ,clean up and even hauled away the trash.Everything went perfect! I love my new carpet ! Would highly recommend Rich !

I had carpet installed 5 years ago. About 2-1/2 years later bubbling started in many places in the living room, bedroom and hallway. I contacted the original seller and installer. They not only wouldn't back-up their work. They wanted to charge me. I begrudgingly made the appointment. They cancelled a few days later and never rescheduled. I lived with the bumps until I started to trip over the bumps. I checked with Angie's List and found Rich. He was close by and had an excellent rating. I called left a message. Rich returned my call almost immediately and made the appointment for a Saturday. This was great news as I wouldn't need to take time off from work. He called before he came over. He was on-time as promised. He looked over the problems and went to work. He brought his son with him to help. The job was completed to my liking in little over an hour. We discussed other possible work he may do for me. Gave me great suggestions. Very personable person. Would definitely use him again.

Rich takes a lot of pride in the work his company performs. This was evident during the entire process from the initial consultation meeting where Rich brought samples and reviewed options with me as well as during the actual install. His team is professional and courteous. They did a fantastic job. I would use them again in the future!!!

We had estimates performed from Empire Today and Costco before getting a third one from Rich's rugs. Rich was fantastic start to finish. He came to the house twice to show samples and discuss the project. He offered us a top of the line carpet for the same price as Costco and Empire's middle grade (also fine carpets but Rich's was superior). Rich's personal touch and detailed explanation of HOW the job would be performed (such as where the seems would go) was much preferred to the classic salesmanship of Empire and Costco. When it came time to perform the job, Rich arrived with a very professional and courteous team that took great care in moving my belongings to perform the job. They notified me of a small wall nick they may have caused which many other contractors would hope you wouldn't catch. The job they performed was top notch. I will have a basement to finish with carpeting in the next year or 2 and I will not need to consult Angies - I will be going straight to Rich! Lifelong customer!
