Fantastic!! Rich provided excellent customer service from start to finish. I called him to schedule an estimate, and much to my surprise, he scheduled that initial meeting the very next evening! Rich spent over an hour patiently answering all of our questions and addressing all of our concerns. Even though it was a late evening meeting, (and he has a family he was probably eager to get home to) he in no way pressured or rushed us. He gave us a a very fair estimate that same evening and we decided to move ahead with him. Not only did we feel that he extremely knowledgeable, but his pricing beat his competitors. On the day of the install, he and his crew showed up exactly at 9am as promised and got right to work. They worked hard and fast and got the job done quickly and most importantly beautifully!!! Rich and his two installers (his nephew and Uncle Mike) are all super nice guys. They were respectful of me, my son, my house, and even my 2 yappy Pomeranian dogs! My husband and I are so pleased with Rich, and will refer him without hesitation to anyone in need of his services. In addition we'll be using him for our future projects.... in just a few weeks, we have him booked to install a patterned runner on our foyer staircase with matching carpeting in the first floor study. Rich was really great! He was very responsive and came out to take a look at the job right away. Since it was such a small amount of material he offered a couple of options from material left over from a previous job. I appreciated the honesty and he got the job done very quickly. Everything was cleaned up and the trash was removed when I got home. He even left more of the leftover material for the next time. Highly recommended.

I received my estimate the day I called. The estimator/owner was courteous and friendly. The day of installation the installer/owner was punctual. He introduced his helpers at the door, they were friendly and as courteous as the business owner. I was given an estimated time of completion which was met. All steps of installation were explained to me with an interactive flare. When the installation was completed they cleaned up and vacuumed the new rugs and replaced the furniture where the were instructed. I would highly recommend Rich's Rugs to my friends and family.

He was professional & punctual but was more than I wanted to pay. I went elsewhere and got a better grade carpet for less.

Rich did a fantastic job. He was extraordinarily responsive--easily the most responsive tradesman I have ever dealt with. He made himself available to fit our schedule and promptly returned calls, if he did not answer right away. It is clear that he does plenty of business but he is eager to get your job done as soon as he possibly can. The room we carpeted has a number of cutouts and irregularities. Rich measured everything three times to make sure he got it right. He coordinated with our carpet and pad supplier to pick everything up. The job required Rich to bind a seam, which he did beautifully. On installation day, he was in and out promptly, but not before making sure we were entirely satisfied. I called Rich based solely on his Angie's list reviews, and I was not disappointed. I would recommend him to anyone and would use him again anytime.

There would be no Rich's Rugs without Rich. He was punctual and ready for work. It was initially planned to be completed in 5 hours but he finished in 4 hours. He is hard working and very focused on what has to be done. Beside doing his share of the work he is always checking on the progress of his crew. I was especially fascinated by the machine he was using to hide the seams. After he was through with the seam in the living room, it was totally invisible. If you need carpet, call Rich, you will not be disappointed.

Called Rich to get an estimate on tightening up my carpets in two rooms where it was pretty loose. He couldn't give me an exact estimate without seeing what was needed but given my description he gave a high and low range. I told him I could work within that range and was able to schedule it for three days later at noon. Rich called that day and said he could make it even earlier which he did. He did an excellent job in the two rooms where I had the biggest problem and even included a third room where he saw that giving it some attention now would avoid having to deal with it later. Despite adding this extra room Rich still gave me a price at the low end of his original estimate range. Nice job Rich... thanks!

This is my third time using Rich's Rugs. When we were informed that part of our carpeting and padding had to be pulled back cut away by the water mitigation company, there was no question who we would be contacting to repair the issue once all other work in the area was completed. I contacted Rich and he responded immediately. He came out within a day to do the repair, which was much faster than I expected or required. He gave me an estimate over the phone (since he knew what area was in question from prior work). He made a reasonable deal with me regarding the padding since I would not need the whole roll. When he arrived, he found that there was some additional repair needed since a part of the laminate flooring was also impacted. He added a small amount to the estimate to account for that. I knew that the piece was removed but had forgotten it, so when he mentioned it I immediately knew what he was talking about and understood what had to be done. The charge was very reasonable for the additional work. I honestly can't say enough good things about Rich and his work. My husband and I are extremely pleased and will continue to utilize Rich's Rugs and are very comfortable recommending him and his company to friends, family and colleagues. Work is exceptional. Response time is excellent. Overall a great company and individual to work with!

Rich came out immediately to give me an estimate. He worked me in his schedule so the carpets would be done in time for my daughters wedding. He arrived with a big crew and got everything done in one day. They were professional and clean. Would definitely use Rich again.

We would definitely recommend Rich's rugs. Rich responded promptly to our phone call and met with us as soon as possible. The carpet we chose came in quickly and it was easy to set up a time (despite our busy schedules) to have him come install. They arrived exactly when they said they would and were very professional. The carpet looks great and despite the fact that they had to remove the old carpet and drag it out through our small house, they left the house overall pretty clean. Our steps were tricky to carpet for a few reasons but they spent the time on them and they look great. Very happy overall.

My husband and I used Rich to install new carpet in our children's playroom's. He was such a pleasure to work with, and the job was done wonderfully, so we decided to hire him again to install new carpet in our family room, and spare bedroom. The rooms came out great! We couldn't be happier! Rich is easy to get a hold of, has a great selection of carpet, works fast and neat, and his prices are great. I would definitely use Rich again for any flooring needs we'll have!

Rich came to my house a day after calling with a estimate. Four days later he was at my house installing the rugs. He is quick, honest, clean and as professional as it gets. Rich and his two works had the job done in 1 hour and half. They removed and put back all the doors and cut them as needed due to the rug being a little higher with no extra charge. The padding and rug were great quality at a reasonable price. He removed all my old rugs and rolled and taped them neatly and clean on my curbside for trash pick up.

I had my heart set on a certain carpet that I was hoping that Rich would be able to find for me. He showed me all of the samples that he had and saw that I was not warming up to any of them. I happened to have had a carpet swatch with the company name and color information. He went out of his way to locate that carpet for me without any hesitation what so ever. He is absolutely awesome and a talented craftsman of his trade. Cannot wait for the installation!! Stay tuned!

At the initial inspection, I had some ideas on rugs types. Keep in mind - I have lots of pets and kids. Rich took the time to explain the benefits/pit falls of certain rug types in an "active" household. He guided me beautifully through the maze of rug types, always offering different options (good/better/best and why. What might be overkill considering the spill/claw factor, etc.). I made my selections and set up an installation time. In the past, I used a box store for carpets. Imagine my pleasure when Rich asked me if I wanted the install the following week! Yesterday, he and his assistant, Rob, moved out the heavy furniture, tore out and removed the old rugs, replaced tack strips with construction grade strips, installed the memory foam (waterproof!) padding and carpets. They then proceeded to vacuum and sweep every available surface in the working area and replaced the heavy furniture, always asking for direction as to placement. Would I recommend them. Absolutely! With no hesitation and complete confidence that they would do a spectacular job. Too many superlatives? Not really. How often does one experience a really great contractor experience? Kudos to Rich and Rob!!!

Rich and his team arrived exactly when they said they would, went right to work and worked without any breaks for about 8 hours. They were extremely careful moving my furniture as they worked from room to room. They are very nice guys and did a beautiful job. My house looks fantastic and I highly recommend Rich to anyone looking for carpeting.

It was a pleasure working with Rich! He was always quick to respond with any questions I had. He was very friendly and Knowledgeable, and he made sure he was able to fit in my job before my out of town family was coming to visit. He and one other worker completed our install. They were on time, worked quickly, and were very neat. Based on our great experience with Rich, we've decided to work with him again, and just scheduled him to install carpet in our family room and guest bedroom. Great service, and great price!

I called several carpet companies and stopped into several showrooms, seeking new carpeting for my bedroom. The carpet I wanted was high end. I have pain in my feet and wanted something very soft and silky for my barefeet in the morning. The flooring in the kitchen in our mother-in-law suite was scratched and needed to be replaced and the carpet in the living room had developed a bulge, 3 years after installation. Rich returned my calls promptly and was eager to do the work. He came to the house with samples and assessed the areas that were in need. Several other carpet places had tried to talk me out of the Shaw carpet sample that I had been carrying around for three years, one that I had picked out when we were having an addition put onto the house. I knew what I wanted and Rich respected that. The bedroom is too big for a 12 foot roll of carpet so he worked out a way to use less carpet, putting seams under the bed. The floor in the kitchen was less of a priority to me, but he gave it the same level of attention and led me to pick out something much nicer than I had envisioned for the same amount of money. The carpet came in promptly and on the day of installation, he was on time, went right to work and completed all the work in one day. I love my carpet, the floor in the kitchen and the living room carpet is now flat. He was easy to work with, upbeat and friendly.

Rich and his employees were kind and professional. They had great senses of humor and we had quite a few laughs while they were working. We love the new carpeting, and would definitely recommend them to others.

Rich provided samples and really listened to us as far as what we wanted. The carpet and padding are of high quality and the professionalism and workmanship of Rich and his crew was outstanding. I would use them again and I will recommend them .

We are very pleased with the new floor installed by Rich. He and his helpers arrived on time, were extremely pleasant, and went the extra mile to deal with a problem spot in another part of the house. We couldn't recommend him more highly.
