Morges Builders LLC

Morges Builders performed extensive renovation/remodeling work for me. The majority of this work was performed in 2013 and finished in 2014. Morges Builders renovated 3 bathrooms, put in new hardwood floors in 2 rooms, refinished the remaining existing hardwood floors, painted the home, put in 10 new doors and performed other renovation work. Less than two years later, the painting is cracking and bubbling. The hardwood floors have several problems. The floors that were newly installed can not be dusted or swtiffered because they catch the swiffer pads, then, I have pieces of fuzz sticking out all over the floor. The hardwood floors that they refinished have places that the stain was stripped when they polished the floors and they did not correct or spot stain these areas. I do not know what kind of polish or finish that was put on these floors but they scratch very easily. I had the floors redone in my previous home and did not have any of these problems nor did they scratch so easily. I also have cracking, nail pops, etc. in the master bath that was completely remodeled by Morges Builders. I have requested assistance from Morges Builders, they did send workers to fix some of the problems but the problems persist and are worsening. Two of the doors do not operate properly. Also, one of Morges Builders employees broke a part of a light fixture, two years later; I am still waiting for the replacement piece and repair of the light fixture. There are other problems such as a cracked tile in the laundry room that I pointed out to their workers that was not replaced.

This is our second renovation by Morges Builders. We also had our kitchen done by them about 4 years ago. We have a hundred year old house and they're very good with old house problems. Clark is especially good about giving you the complete information and several options if an unexpected issue arises during the work--as so often happens with old houses. We still love our kitchen and now we're equally proud of our master bath! Their tile work is meticulous and their attention to detail in all the carpentry is awesome. Can't wait to start the next project with them.
