Their service and prices are great. They're very courteous. The owner ran the job. If any problems or challenges arose, it was taken care of immediately without any argument. They used top of the line units that give 92% to 96% efficiency.

Installation was great and pricing was very competitive verse other quotes we received. They completed in a day. I signed up to receive their annual service plan. Quality service and installation. I love the temperature in the house and the electric bill!

This is a great company to use. They are always very professional, punctual, and reasonably priced. Whenever a worker enters the house they put on shoe covers and are very careful. They have serviced our heating and air conditioning units twice now and were also responsible for their maintenance with the previous home owners. I am very glad we maintained the contract.

I have used Christian for over 10 years to maintain our heat pump and have been very pleased with their professional and prompt service. When our water heater died, I called them to replace it. While I have extremely pleased with their work on our heat pump, I was disappointed to learn they had an extremely limited selection of electric water heaters available for quick installation. My research had indicated brand was not a major factor in determining quality, so Energy Star ratings, time needed to reheat water used, and price point are major factors in purchasing a standard electric water heater. As a result, in choosing to use Christian to replace our water heater, I traded off selection and, therefore, potentially price and energy efficiency, for rapid replacement and confidence in their service. With more time, I might have shopped around. On the plus side, from the time I called until the service was complete was only about 6 hours, and the professional service I have enjoyed with Christian on my heat pump service held up with the hot water heater installation. In addition, in discussing my family's hot water usage, the Christian representative and I agreed that the 13-year old unit being removed was actually too large--for us or for any other typical residents likely to live in the house in the future. [According to the manufacturer's website, the old unit was sized appropriately; however, other non-commercial sources on the web suggested units ranging from the capacity to one size up were more appropriate.] As a result the new unit is only 2/3 as large as the old one, which by itself should result in significant energy savings. In the two weeks since installation, with typical usage, we have not come close to running low on hot water, though it is too soon obviously to know if any savings will accrue on our electric bill.

I called Christian after the company that my home warranty program sent us did not complete the work or state when they were coming back to complete the work. Every time I called they gave me a different excuse. So I called Christian since they have never disappointed. When I called they were honest and stated it may be a day before they can come out because of the high call volume. I explained I needed help immediately due to my son and I having a medical condition and stated I would have to try to find someone else. The woman called me back and stated she can have someone out today so I agreed to them coming. Eugene B,. came out 2 hours later (GREAT GUY) diagnosed the problem, had the part that I needed, and explained what I need to do to keep my AC in top condition. If you want great quality and integrity in a company this is the company for you!

They provided a detailed quote and answered several e/m and phone calls as I determined exactly what I needed and compared to other competitors. Their pricing an knowledge sold me on giving them the business. I have never used Christian Heating and AC before, but they came recommended. The team arrived as promised and conducted themselves in a very professional manner. The installation was completed without fuss and a full explanation was provided at the end of the job. 2 days in and everything is working well.

They did not have the parts that we needed to fix the problem. They couldn't seem to diagnose the problem. We finally fired them and fixed the problem ourselves. They didn't clean up much because they didn't do anything. They were very professional, they were very courteous and punctual; but the fact was, they couldn't diagnose the problem. They replaced the whole bunch of stuff, that wasn't the problem; until we finally ordered the part ourselves and replaced it ourselves, after we freed them. I will not use them. I wouldn't even recommend them to use it against my worst enemy. They tried and I understand it was an old heater. They told me they can fix something and they have the parts in the truck. When we went there to check, they told it was not the right part and it was a different one. Then they told that they don't have it in the truck and it has to come from the warehouse. They replaced few parts in the heater; but that didn't fix the problem, when it was 20 degrees outside.

We have two units. They came in and made sure that everything was tuned up and ready to go. They made sure that we didn't freeze in the winter and cook in the summer. They give us a 10% discount on any issues that would arise from the maintenance. Every time they come in they put their booties on. Whenever they find an issue they are prompt in fixing it and coming up with an estimate. Their estimates are very reasonable and the prices never go over the estimates. They are very professional and very knowledgeable. They really know what they're doing and are just great. I would totally recommend them.

Excellent. 2 visits per year to maintain heating & A/C system. Very prompt, very responsive. Professional service people. Always easy to schedule. They always show up when they promise. They provide written service reports and explain everything they do.

I chose them because they got a lot of good feedback in our area, and I would second that. The price was more reasonable than what I had been spending. I don’t know anything about that type of thing but they went over everything. When they were finished they told me exactly where I was with the system and they gave me a good breakdown about what to expect in the future. They did a thoughtful and effective analysis. I appreciate that they explained everything very clearly; the company that I used to use would just tell me about the system in passing.

After six months and at least as many visits, the dual zone system is still not functioning properly. We had another company come out and tell us that because of the way our home was built, the second zone will never work correctly and should have never been installed in the first place. A major hassle and unnecessary expense. We used to have them do our two HVAC services each year, but we have canceled and now use another company. Also, when they initially quoted the dual zone installation, we were quoted $2800. I asked if they could do better and they came down to $2000 which is great but also means they overcharge by nearly one third if you don't object.

The overall experience was great. I met with a salesperson who explained the different units. He explained that the high efficiency units could cut your heating bill in half. He also explained that several rebates were available and also a tax credit if installed before the end of 2010. When I signed a contract with him he set up the install date for the following week. He also submitted the rebate to the Gas and Electric company. The installers arrived promply on the date agreeded upon. They put tarps on the floors to keep the area clean. They even wore coverings over their feet so al not to track dirt in from the outdoors. The installation went smoothly. When they finished they explained the various units to me. i was even given a complementary bag and set of tools. The installers were pleasant and polite.

Our AC was not working (no longer blowing air) so we called Christian to diagnose and repair. They came the next day, diagnosed a bad blower fan, and repaired the following day. The total cost was $119 diagnosis fee +$600 for the repair. This part of our interactions with them seemed to go well. Since it was cool the day of the repair, we did not immediately turn the AC on. When we did turn it on, the AC did not work. While it did blow air, which had been he reason for the initial call, it was not cold. We then called them to check their repair, and they sent someone to check it out. This is when it went downhill. The representative they sent did not appear to very adept at troubleshooting and was confused by the problem. In the end, he diagnosed a bad condenser fan, but also proceeded to add that our compressor was "not in very good shape" and "might due in near future". He also then informed us that since his diagnosis was unrelated to the initial repair, that he had to charge us another diagnosis fee, which was $179 this time (since it was a weekend). I called Christian Heating later to ask if the $179 fee could be applied to a repair, but was told firmly that they do not do this and was reminded by them again that this was a new issue and completely unrelated the initial repair. The refused to be swayed by our observation that our AC never worked after they did the initial repair. To get our AC fixed, I ended up calling another company for the repair. This company was immediately able to get our condenser fan to work, and then diagnosed a bad compressor unit, and completed installation of a new unit. I called Bruce at Christian and complained that their diagnosis has been wrong (the condenser fan was working properly!). He stated that the other company could have "tricked" us into thinking the fan was working. I told him that I watched the other firm turn the fan on, and there did not appear to be any tricks involved. Bruce did end up agreeing to refund 50% of the fee, so I am only out $90 on the bad diagnosis. However, I do not plan to use Christian again based on this experience - they acted like a big company more interested in defending fees and charging for more work than they did about standing by their work and reputation. I also now know that the diagnosis fees for Christian are out of line with most other companies. The other AC firms we called all charge ~$80-90 for a weekday diagnosis fee, vs the $119 that Christian charges. On the weekends, the other firms also charge only ~$120-130 vs $179 for Christian.

extremely professional - wear shoe covers and clean up spotlessly. hey are also polite, pleasant and willing/able to explain the problem. We also asked about replacing our older unit with a new one and were told - yes it might save energy, but not enough money to justify a new system just yet. One of the men said, we'll be glad to give you an estimate, but if it were my AC, I'd keep it for now.... They may have missed an immediate sale, but they have gained a new customer- and when the time comes- they will likely be our first choice for the replacement unit.

I would not recommend this company--in fact, I strongly recommend AGAINST them. My wife made ONE call to a competitor and got a price on the part that was LESS than half what Christian had quoted. In fact, it was almost ONE-THIRD the price. We also learned that they are notorious for their high prices and bad service. All this under the banner of Christianity. I hope they are putting all that extra cash in the till.

I went terribly. They had no compunction at learning that they are losing a 6-year customer. They simply don't care. I imagine they can well afford to lose customers, because they overcharge the ones they have. I am most bothered by all the lies on their website about a Christian business philosophy. Masking predatory and non-customer-centric business practices with Christian rhetoric is a disgrace. Shame on them. As a follow-up, I received a message on my voice mail from their President/Founder. Yes, it was nearly two weeks after the problem occurred, but I was hopeful that there might be some resolution. I was at work when the gentleman called, and I returned his call the following day. I expected that I would at least receive an apology, or an acknowledgment of disappointment over losing a customer. NOTHING! What he wanted was to know "where I went to church" and he requested that he "speak to my pastor" because he was very upset about my report on Angie's List. He quoted some scripture and repeatedly demanded to know where I worship. It was creepy and inappropriate and bordering on harassment. . Wow! I have seen it all now.

Job went very well. The installers arrived when they said they would and completed the job quickly. They cleaned up nicley after they were finished.

This company is very responsive and responsible. They came within 48 hours and were able to correct the problem immediately. We used them to install a humidification unit on our heater three months prior and were very happy with that service as well.

Called to schedule an appointment on 1/12/2010. Salesperson was late for appointment, but both he and the inside sales person called to advise. Reviewed options and gave quote which I felt was high, but they could perform the work that afternoon, which was an advantage. Service person called before coming that afternoon and arrived on time. Work was performed very well. Installed humidifier, put a new outlet in to power the unit and ran copper water line about 20'. Very clean and both people from Christian wore protective coverings on their shoes.

Overall they are punctual, courteous and very nice to do business with. I am very satisfied overall.

They are a reputable company in our area and do a lot of work. They are reliable and come when they are supposed to be here. Their charges generally reflect what they say they are going to charge you. They are not the most inexpensive heating and air conditioning service but they are reliable and do a good job. I even signed up for an annual program with them for cleaning and testing of the heat pump evey year.

They listen to whatever I have to say and fix what I ask them to. Thy answer my questions very well and explain whatever problem I have. They are very honest. One example, I had a faulty piece that needed to be replaced two or three times and they kept replacing it if it broke, without any charge for the faulty piece. They are just very reputable, honest and accomadating.

Staff is very professional and punctual, and take their time, nothing is ever rushed. We are happy with this company. It is more expensive than others in the area, but personally I would pay more for a reliable vendor than look for the lowest price. Overall "B" rating is because of price.

The work was done in a very professional and neat manner. They took away our old heater and did a great clean-up job. Our new heating system looks beautiful. However, they made an error in an electrical connection from the humidifier to the heater, causing the humidifier to run constantly and the condensate pump to go on every 30 seconds to dump water into the sink. We called the next day, and they sent someone immediately to fix the problem. Another thing is that when we purchased the system, we inquired about the gov't energy tax rebate. We were told that they did not think there was a Gov't energy tax rebate for our particular model, which is the Carrier Infinity 80% efficiency model. However, the salesman said he would look into it and get back to us. We asked about this several times, but heard nothing to date from him. We contacted Carrier on our own and was told that there was a gov't energy rebate for our model and they e-mailed us the form we needed to get this rebate.

I collected three bids and they offered me bigger units for the price compared to others. They also cleaned up well. They were here when they said they would be. They were tidy and always wore booties in the house.
