We are very happy with the work done by Millman Electric. The new lights have made a huge difference in the living room and bed rooms. Brian is very easy to work with and I would highly recommend this company to others.

I have used this company a few times and I'm consistently impressed with their workmanship. They called the day before to confirm the appointment, arrived on time and did high quality work. The high hats add great ambiance to our kitchen. I wish I would have put them in sooner. I keep them on high while cooking to see better and dim them for softer light during meals. A great investment for our home and will be adding more high hats to our living room in the near future.

Brian made everything extremely quick & easy. Estimate was setup the next day after contact & emailed over within minutes of leaving the house. Day of install Brian showed up right on time, was very courteous & professional and detail oriented. Afterwards, Brian cleaned up as if no one was even there. The work he did turned out terrifically. Now we have a great lighting & electrical setup in our baby's nursery. I would highly recommend as Brian is now our go-to electrician for all future work we'll have done.

Great experience from start to finish. Brian and a helper came at the agreed upon time, met with us to go over the three electrical jobs we needed to have done, and then got to work. They completed all three jobs in under an hour and then cleaned up and reviewed everything with us. Very professional, efficient, and courteous service.

We needed to hire a new electrician to replace a fellow who had done all of our electrical work for 20+ years. Brian was recommended to us by another contractor who was doing some work for us at the time. We called him to get an estimate on 6/25/15 and the call was returned within a couple of hours. He was in the area and came out the same afternoon which was a most pleasant surprise! I explained what we needed and he assured us first off that there was no serious issue with the GFCI outlet after which he explained how he would install the new outlets. He recommended that the one in the garage for a 2nd refrigerator be dedicated solely to that appliance and also noted that the outlet would need to be physically moved a bit owing to the position of the garage wall relative to the basement wall which was no problem for us. He expected that the new basement outlet would be a straightforward installation. In addition, he took the time to look at our electric meter and recommend a simple solution to remedy the problem which I did myself following his advice. He emailed his estimate the next day, the 26th which was quite reasonable so we emailed him to accept and contacted his office on Monday the 29th to confirm. We were fortunate that there was a cancellation for the following day and at 9:00AM on Tuesday, June 30th Brian and his associate arrived and promptly went to work. The GFCI problem was diagnosed and the outlet was replaced and both new outlets were installed all in ~2 hours. They cleaned up after their work and labeled the new circuit breakers in the box before they left. Overall, this was a most pleasant experience and I will have Brian return for our future electrical needs and I would recommend him strongly to anyone who needs a very professional, honest and pleasant electrician in the future.

Brain gave an estimate, which was the actual cost and not a penny more. Called the night before the installation and stated when he would arrived and arrived the next day at that time. He was courteous and respected my house. He installed the switch, tested the power and everything worked as he stated the switch would work. He answered all my questions, was not in a rush to leave and ensured I was satisfied with the worked that was performed. I would recommend Brian to anyone who needs electrical services.

We've used Brian Millman Electric before and knew we could trust them to install our under cabinet lighting in our kitchen. Brian first came over to take measurements and give an estimate (the final price was exactly the same as what he quoted). At this time he discussed our options of which products and brands he suggested in addition to layout options. He guided us through the entire process and customized everything to our liking. We couldn't be more happy with the outcome and love the new look of our kitchen

Brian and his helper always arrived punctually. They covered the carpet with drop-clothes to catch the debris before starting and cleaned all when finished. The installations proceeded professionally and quickly, and always with courtesy. In this age of mediocrity some are still craftsmen and Brian Millman delivers what he agreed upon . We were starting the renovation of our master bath and had everything squared away except the electrical layout. I called Brian Millman Electric for a consultation and estimate. Brian arrived on time and was very professional. He designed an electrical layout involving LED recessed lights, an exhaust fan, timer, dimmers and fixture placement. He not only guided us on what to use, but why to pick certain brands and products over others. This was helpful for us considering our knowledge is very limited in this area. After the job was complete, we could not have picked a better electrical layout for our bathroom and a better contractor to do the work. The job was perfect.

I have a 55" Flat Screen TV that I wanted mounted on my Living Room wall. Unfortunately I had no idea how to install it properly i.e. running the cables through the wall, adding/subtracting items for future seutp, etc. Brian gave me all of the information and an accurate estimate. Both Brian and Jake came out on time the day that the work was scheduled, completed the job, and tested everything before they left. More importantly they educated me on what to do incase I wanted to add devices or make a change in the future. My house was exactly the way that I left it; clean and organized, once the job was done. The setup is incredible and they did an excellent job. They were very professional and now I have a great electrician that I can rely on.

Just about perfect. When there were weather and availability issues - Brian made sure the install was done as quickly as possible. The outside unit was installed without damaging out landscaping. Things went quick and clean with the power out for a very short time - no damage to groceries etc. The unit works so seamlessly that I thought it was broken one day several months after installation. About 3AM one morning I heard the generator running. No one else in the neighborhood had lost power and the whole house seemed normal - even my coffee pot wasn't blinking. I thought the unit was running unnecessarily and emailed Brian in the middle of the night. Brian responded early that morning and his co-worker came out to check the unit. He turned the unit off and off went our power. As it turned out, we were the only home who had lost power - it was so seamless I had no idea. The only down side is that it may take longer to notify PECO as the power loss is no longer obvious. We had 3 estimates. The first almost 17K more another a little less. Brian is calm, kind, responsive and completely professional. The Montgomery county inspector, who prided himself with how tough he is, thought it was a great job, and I agree.

I contacted several companies for quotes on purchasing a portable generator and installing a transfer switch. Within an hour of my initial phone call, Jake Millman showed up at my door, and listened to my needs and requests. In less than a day, I was emailed a quote for the work involved and we ultimately decided on Millman Electric because of responsiveness and Angie's list reputation. I contacted them several times both by phone and by email between the time that the contract was approved and the work was to be performed, and calls were returned promptly and all questions answered. On the appointed day and time of the work to be done, Brian and Jake showed up right on time, answered my questions and got to work. It was finished in less time than I was originally quoted, and professionally and neatly done. Upon completion, Brian and Jake "walked me through" starting and operating all my new equipment, explained the operation of everything, gave me straight forward instructions on how everything operated, and left me with complete contact info if I had any questions and /or concerns for the future.

Our experience could not have been better! Brian was extremely professional in all aspects of the job, and everything was completed with the utmost care and quality. He was extremely efficient, and always left the area in which he worked as clean or cleaner than it was when he started. Brian and his crew arrived on the scheduled day bright and earlier. They prepped the installation sight and began installing the transfer switch box. Prior to this Brian had made contact with PECO to make arrangements with them to upgrade our gas meter. The meter upgrade took place a week or so prior the installation date. We as the home owner were basically not involved with PECO at all. Complete installation was a two day job as planned. Brian made all arrangements, such as a plumber to pipe the natural gas through to the generator installation sight. Upon completion of the job my new generator system was tested and garranteed for a year. Brians crew cleaned up the areas inside and out. My wife and I now have the security to not be without electricity. ie Hurricane Sandy. I would definitely recommend Millman Electric to my family and friends.

Brian took care of every detail from dealing with the township, managing all of the details of installation and setting up our maintenance program. Word of mouth spread quickly and 4 of my neighbors have installed generators with the same positive experience. This was an costly upgrade to my home but worth every penny .
