Provided information on myriad baby proofing items after his safety evaluation, and was not pushy with sales of items. He leaves it up to you to decide how much and how little you want to purchase/install, which is nice. He did a very thorough job installing the gates. because the stairwell is oddly configured, we needed someone to install a gate at an angle. the service man was prompt, polite and get the job done quickly.

Mark has sufficient expertise in this very specific area and can really help parents identify dangers and find a solution for them. Most importantly, Mark is not the least bit pushy. He will explain everything that is available for a house but if you choose not to get that product he does not push it nor does he try to and quot;judgeand quot; you into getting the product. In addition, Mark explains some harder to solve problems. We had a couple of unique situations in our new house that were not present in our old house when our oldest child was an infant. Mark had a lot of information on these unique situations. Finally, Mark is not ripping you off as a customer. When compared with identifying a product, finding it, finding the right price, going to pick it up and installing it yourself, the process is well worth the additional cost. Mark did a good job on capturing our requirements on the initial consultations. For the initial installation (about two years ago in 2012), he confirmed the appointment the day before and arrived on time. Since then he's been over twice more for some additions and minor fixes. He is always friendly, professional, honest, and knowledgeable about child safety products. We felt he takes the time to do things thoroughly, using the right products for the job. We feel much safer with our toddler in the house thanks to Mark. Overall a great experience and would recommend his services to anyone looking to improve child safety in their house.

Mark did a great job. He charges by the specific task to be performed rather than by the hour. After getting much higher quotes from another babyproofing company which does charge by the hour, I can tell you that this is a good deal. Mark is friendly, hardworking and uses quality products. I was very pleased with his work and would definitely recommend him to friends and family and would use his services again if I were to move to another home.

It went well. This provider was wonderful and friendly. It did take much longer than he had expected, but the job was professional and thorough, and I am grateful that I just said to do everything, since everything done so far has been very useful, particularly the toilet locks. The price tag sounds expensive on our work, but we have a very large stone house and solid oak furniture with sharp corners everywhere, so there was a lot to do. I was not charged more than the initial quote despite the extra time spent, and when we thought one of the gates might have been broken by my parent's dog, he came out to fix it and charged me nothing. He was also very sweet and gentle with my son. Anyway, now I feel very comfortable on our second floor and with letting our now toddler explore and walk around with the gates closed. I feel comfortable that the risks of injury have been minimized in ways I would have never thought. If you want to allow and active toddler to learn and explore in a safe environment, this service is highly recommended. You don't think about it when your child isn't walking, but now it's a relief to know my son can be safe and play without constant, hands-on supervision and a whole lot of and quot;no, no, no.and quot; It gives me breathing room as a parent and gives my son the ability to explore on his own, and these things are worth all the money in the world.

Mark was very professional and thorough. He came for an initial visit to inspect the home and walked through the entire house looking for what needed to be done. He talked to us as he did this, explaining the different things we would see on his estimate. His estimate arrived only several days later and he was not pushy at all about what he thought we had to have done. We went with most of his suggestions, but not all. Mark is very honest and thorough and his charge is for the cost of the parts and labor, regardless of how long it takes him to complete the job. He went above and beyond in doing (for free) several things he had not included in the estimate. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend Mark to anyone looking to babyproof their home. As first time parents we were nervous about this and Mark made us feel very much at ease.

My experience with Mark was great. He initially came out and surveyed the whole house to provide a proposal of all of the childproofing needs he saw. I then told him which items I wanted done and what I would either do myself or put off until my 13 month old is older. He came back a few weeks later to do install everything we agreed to do, which was a day-long project. I very much appreciated his pricing structure, which was based on the cost of the equipment plus a labor fee per item. I knew what I was paying before he arrived, and it did not correspond to how long it took him to complete the job. He was very pleasant and easy to work with, and I am thrilled with the quality of the installation and the products he used. Our active 13 month old can now crawl and cruise around to his delight without my having to worry about the stairs and drawers.

I had baby gates installed on two staircases. Each staircase was a bit different as some had spindles and some not. Mark did an excellent job in installing the gates. He was very personable. The quality of the gates are far superior than any you can find in a store. They are strong and sturdy and it's easy for an adult to operate, especially while holding a baby. Mark was wonderful and even tightened a loose railing on my steps. I also had safety latches installed on cabinets and drawers that work beautifully. Now I know my home will be safe for my babies. I would strongly recommend Mark to anyone who needs baby proofing. Thank you Mark for the peace of mind!

He's great.

He was thorough, on time and polite. He gave us a full survey of the home and we could choose which items we felt was most important. He was available and he worked within our schedule. He also did my daughter's house. I would absolutely use him again.

He seemed knowledgeable and he took the time to look at the set up. There was a gate for the top and the bottom of the stairs and he took his time to really look at the set up for the best way to do it. He used real small pieces of wood and he took them out and demonstrated that they were actually crushed wood and really hard too. It just seemed like he took his time to do it right.

Mr. Gottlieb was great. Very professional and punctual, and provided us with additional suggestions on babyproofing. Installed a gate at the top of the stairs that was tricky because of our particular staircase, and did it perfectly. Highly recommend, it was totally worth the money to have someone who knew how to do this and saved us lots of time doing it ourselves.

I am pretty handy and could not install these gates correctly. My wife hired him against my will but (as usual) she was right. He did the work over 2 days. Gates work great and he cleaned up so it was like he never came.
