The roof was rubber, and they left lumps and bumps in it. He blamed the weather, and when I said I was calling another company he had a roofing company replace the roof, because he had never done a rubber roof before, after stating that he had. He showed me a roof that he had supposedly done, along with references, but then later admitted that someone else did the roof that he originally showed me. The permit from the city required special lumber because these were considered fire escapes. He wanted to use Trex decking and railing and wolmanized framing, not fire treated. He did the job and kept asking for money for every little things; he threatened to quit the job several times. He created problems, and I paid him to fix those problems. I refused to pay him because all the risers were split; he picked up his things and walked off the job, then filed a lawsuit claiming I did not follow the contract. Be weary when dealing with this man!
Description of Work: He tore down the decks on my home, as well as, repaired the roof slope.
