Duct Cleaning Stated over the phone price would be $300. $435 later he was out the door. No before/after pics taken as indicated in as and on phone. While cleaning dryer vent, dirt and dust was everywhere on my kitchen. As I cleaned it, it turned to mud. That's how thick the dust and dirt was. Never apologized for it. Very prompt and courteous. However, not the most professional.

They roped me in with the "39.95 deal", used a subcontractor, and then the guy began to talk 100 miles an hour like a used car salesman adding on all these other charges once they got in the door, and I was so overwhelmed I didn't know what to do (I let them do the work). I knew I wasn't going to get the service for 39.95, but I figured maybe $150 or 200 if that's where we were starting-- and it ended up being $430 (and that was only because I declined a couple of things they suggested which had the amount well over $500!!!) Their equipment looked shoddy (blocking vents with rags and pieces of trashbags), and the vacuum was portable and NOT truck mounted like they claimed. They tried to tell me the truck was in the shop. They were supposed to take a before and after photo inside the ductwork, which they didn't do until I asked to see it, and then the one guy produced a photo he took with his Blackberry (!)-- which anyways looked like it was still filthy. I called the company to complain afterwards, and they denied everything I complained about, and then I was told the boss would call me back, and he never did. This was a HORRIFIC experience.

AVOID THIS COMPANY: it was essentially a scam. They advertised in the free newspaper coupon flyer indicating duct cleaning for under $100 for the whole house. The were sloppy and tore plaster, paint, and even the dry wall when they removed the vents. After removing the vents, they then told us the price would be $358.00. It's one of those things where your house is torn apart, and if you don't choose to go with them, you get the feeling they'll leave without putting anything back together. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. REPORT THEM TO BBI IF YOU'VE USED THEM (OR BEEN SCAMMED LIKE US).
