The quality of the work exceeded my expectations. All of the work was done on time with virtually no dust. Holes and minor imperfections were repaired. The floor looks better than new.

We are in the process of selling our old home, which had Pergo flooring covering the original oak flooring. We installed the Pergo approximately 15 years ago to cover up dog stains which had stained the original oak flooring. I initially received an estimate to remove the Pergo and refinish the original flooring. After the Pergo was removed, it was obvious to everyone that the old flooring could not be restored, so the decision was made to lay a new oak floor over the existing floor. Eric Leghart gave me a very detailed estimate and time schedule. When the work commenced, he would call me to let me know the timing of the remainder of the job. The installation crew, the sanding and finishing crew and the trim work contractors were all very friendly and neat. (The job site was cleaned up each night and all debris removed daily.) The job was completed on schedule and in a timely manner. I would recommend the Leghart Brothers to anyone in need of floor refurbishment or replacement.

As a result we realize we might be able to just refinish. As our other repairs did not involve digging into the floor we are able to wait and let our floor settle.

They did a good job. They were punctual and finished as promised.

I love, love, love my refinished hardwoods! They look absolutely gorgeous! Eric was great at getting back to me and keeping me up to date on the progress and was always reachable by text message which makes communication during the day very convenient. He was able to fit us into his schedule to be able to have the hardwoods done in between when we closed and when we moved in. (thank goodness this was possible because I didn't realize how bad the polyurethane smells) Also, the first time they resanded the floors apparantly they weren't happy with the smoothness (something to do with the sander they used?) so they completely redid the sanding just to make sure they were happy with the final outcome. Would totally recommend if you need hardwood work done, although now that I know how involved the process is, not sure how people live in the house while this is being done. Thanks Eric and your team for being able to fit us into your schedule so we could enjoy the beautiful outcome of the floors without having to live through it! The only reason for the professionalism "B" rating was because they use a uhaul instead of having their own truck... that weirded out my husband a little when he gave them the key. BUT we had NO problems with the crew whatsoever. Oh and discount if you pay cash which is always a wonderful little bonus!

Refinished hardwood floors in hallway and stairs. They did an outstanding job - I would strongly recommend them to anyone wanting their hardwood floors refinished.

Yhe floors looked hopeless to me. Termite damage had ruined part of the dining room floor and subfloor as well. I was skeptical that anyone could make the repairs and have the repair match the old floor, but Leghart worked miracles. The refinished floors look beautiful! Eric responded quickly to all of my calls and was very flexible with scheduling the work. I would definitely recommend them and use them in the future.

Leghart is a very good company and therefore, very busy. We got several estimates from flooring companies and, although Leghart wasn't the cheapest, they seemed to know what to do to replace and repair an area with vents. It was a specific problem of having a vent in front of our french doors. A window used to be in the place where the door is now. I felt like I trusted their know how. So, when we settled on Leghart, we had about 3 months on a waiting list. The work was excellent and efficiently done. It was completed in two days. My wife and I waited a few days before we went near the room, mainly because we didn't want to disturb anything. Well, there was a long hair stuck inside the clear finish just inside the doorway. It was very noticeable. We called Leghart. They came out the next day, repaired the area, and it looked great! All I can say is everyone was very nice and professional and it was a great experience! The floor looks like new.

Their pricing was great. They were competitive and did good work.

I called Eric and his crew after closing on my first home in Mt. Lebanon. The floors were in bad shape and stained a miserable dark color (which made the space seem small). We had also removed a wall and the contractor had to piece in oak floor boards so there was a color mismatch and the new piecing was raised slightly from the older floors. Eric returned my call promptly, came out very soon, and provided a very reasonable quote for the sanding and refinishing. Eric also recommended to us using a natural wood color, as it was cheaper and would enhance the homes space. Since we were waiting to move in until the floors were complete we had asked Eric to do the work as soon as possible and he absolutely accommodated our request. Work was performed in 4 days and looks fantastic. I stopped periodically throughout the process and talked with Eric?s crew and every one of them were nice, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Eric was also always available via text or phone to answer any questions during the process. We spoke on the final day of work to ensure I had no questions and was happy with his service. The floor looks great now and we have begun painting. I can assure you I?ll be calling Eric for all my hardwood flooring needs for this house and future homes, as well as recommending to my friends and family. Really nice first experience with a flooring company, highly recommend.

Legharts advised us that the dirty black floors could be sanded and polyurathaned to return them to their original beauty without any need for stain. They sanded each of 8 rooms, two hallways, two staircases and a number of closets. The floor were covered with two coats of polyurethane. The work was done quickly with only minimal dust. the results were excellent. This is the fourth home we have used the Legharts to refinish or install wood flooring. they have always done an excellent job.

I had just bought my first home and the hardwood floors had never been refinished. They looked pretty rough to say the least. I called Eric about a month before I closed on my house to discuss if it would be possible to have them refinished within 4 days of closing. I was on a tight schedule and wanted to be moved in within 2.5 weeks of closing. Eric was wonderful to deal with! He met with my realtor and was able to measure the house before closing to give me a quote of what it would cost. The quote was comparable to other quotes I had received, however the good communication with Eric is why I decided on them. They showed up promptly at 8:30 on the first day and worked until about 5:30. In the first day, they got everything sanded, stained, and the first coat of poly. They then came back each of the next 2 days in the morning to put on a second and third coat of poly. The guys were friendly and did a very good job. They also put down sections of multiple stains to see what i felt looked best on my floors, it was wonderful because what I thought i wanted ending up not looking right on my floors. There are a few noticeable sanding marks, but I never expected them to be perfect. Overall i am very happy with the job that was done and I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Went perfectly! Eric and company were able to come earlier then originally estimated which really helped us out. DId multiple repairs easily and worked around our schedule. Absolutely wonderful - especially on responsiveness. I could text Eric with a question and get a response immediately.

We needed our hardwood floors refinished quickly and researched a number of companies on Angie's List. Leghart Brothers gave us a reasonable quote and were very accommodating. Our floors look amazing and we would definitely hire them again!

We had some damage in two pieces or our hardwood floor in our living room, and two pieces on the 2nd floor. Leghart brothers came and gave us an estimate and several options to fix this problem. We booked a date, and they showed up promptly as scheduled. They did the work/ within a few hours. The replacement wood matched up with the floor. They did a really great job, and I would hire them again, if I need any more flooring done. We are happy with the work they did!

The Leghart Brothers were very professional and a pleasure to work with. They came out to see the floors and to give us a quote on the refinishing, then were able to schedule us in the next week so that they would be finished before we moved in. We wanted a water-based stain and topcoat in the living room and dining room and they were able to accomodate our request for a small extra fee (per square foot). The cost for our project was a bit higher since we were doing stair tops, risers and stringers, as well as the detail work required on our "birdcage" railing. They were punctual on meeting the first day so that I could give them a key to the house and we could finalize the details of the contract. Each day after finishing the work, Eric contacted me to let me know where they were at in the process, and he was very prompt in returning my phone calls when I had some questions, and I appreciated the advice that Eric was able to give on choosing the stain colors. Due to a lot of rain when they were applying the topcoats, it took an extra day to finish such that the first coat could dry fully, but they still completed the work within four days. The floors and stairs look amazing, we are very happy with them and would recommend the Leghart Bros. to others!

Eric and his brother were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and personable. They did excellent work installing my new hardwood floor. At first I thought I would be able to refinish the current floor but the pet stains were so bad I decided to install new hardwood on top. I also had a dip in my floor and Eric recommended an engineer to help me. Eric and his brother were always working when they said they would be and cleaned up after themselves. The work was down in a timely manner and Eric was very responsive to trouble spots I identified. He fixed them right away and wanted to be sure I was 100% satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone and plan on having them refinish the hardwood floor in a bedroom upstairs when I begin remodeling that part of my house.

The first day they showed up on time, and not only sanded the floors but also stained the floors the same day:(which saved me a day) Day two, 8:30am they showed up to put the first coat of polyurethane down. Day three they came and put the final coat down. we did have one issues with our back room, small dots formed on the surface over night. I called Eric and he came out the next day to re-coat the floor and re-coated all of them / i didn't have to send a picture or argue with him he offered to come out asap and repair the problem. I would highly recommend these guys, they come on time, work hard and never leave a mess.

Split into 2 jobs (2 bedrooms & hallway in first, master bedroom in second). Each job required us to be off that floor approx. 4 days. Completely professional from start to finish. Great owners, great crew. They even tacked down loose boards, nearly eliminating all the creaks and squeaks, an unexpected surprise! Fumes were not nearly as bad as expected. We emptied the rooms -completely- before the jobs started. Rooms/baseboards required light cleaning before moving the furniture, etc. back in. Don't forget to buy some new felt pads in advance for your furniture feet bottoms so you can protect your new floors right away! Reasonable expectations are a must; ours were old and rather damaged floors, with paint spots and full of scratches and holes from carpet, etc. over the years. That being said, THE FLOORS LOOK ASTONISHING!!!

I had this company give an estimate for installation of hard wood flooring. His estimate was $6.00 per square foot for installation. I found someone who seems to be a quality worker who will install for $4.00. I am peeved not at his installation sq/foot charge because he was not the highest estimate. BUT, the square foot that was provided for ordering the flooring was 20% over the real square footage and he attempted to charge $6 per sq/ft based on the overage and not the actual square footage of the work. So he may say that his company charges $6 per sq/ft of installation but you better triple check his measurements and how he is charging you. I DON'T TRUST HIM Beware!!!

After looking at the floor, they gave an honest and straightforward statement that they would try to refinish it, but that it might be too thin, and thus need replacing. They did a very careful job, and refinished it well without the expense of replacing it. I'd have been comfortable using them to replace the floor if that had been necessary. Honest and good.

It went extremely well! From the very beginning I could tell they really know about wood floors. I had so many issues and problems with my old flooring that I was becoming doubtful that I would find anyone able to do the work. Loewes had refused to do the job because of all the problems! They were always professional and helpful - very easy to work with. The project did take a long time, but that was outlined from the beginning. There were no surprises at the end or any unreasonable additional charges. I felt the price was fair and the end product was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any one. I am one very happy customer!

I called Eric to get an estimate; he returned my call promptly and came out the next day. We were offered a discount for paying cash which was great. He was able to schedule us for a week later which really suited our schedule since we were moving in soon. They were able to start a day sooner and did so. The workers were running late due to another job so Eric called and let me know. Two employees arrived within the time frame he gave me (2 hours) . They sanded the floors and applied the first coat of polyurethane. The next day they came in the morning, buffed the floor, applied the second coat and came back (during a snow storm) in the afternoon and applied the final coating. The floor looks brand new. We chose not to stain them but to go with the natural wood. The wood grain and color are beautiful. We're delighted with the new look. We need to refinish the LR/DR floor in the home we're moving from and we will definitely have Leghart Brothers do the work.

Absolutely fantastic work. Showed up on time and as expected. Sanded 1st day, stained and finished next 2 days. Very little mess and smell when i returned 1 day after they had left.

The floor was revealed after lifting an old carpet. Sanding removed a very dark stain and they managed to match the color of the floor in the adjacent room exactly. The job was small, and an afterthought to redecoration of the room, but done quickly. Not quite dustless, owing to a malfunctioning vac, but thereafter as advertised. Very pleased with the result.
