Work was beautifully, professionally done. Eric was very responsive via texting, email and phone. They are not inexpensive, but their work matches the price which is why I rated cost an "A". Brother Gerry is excellent on the work supervision and ensuring a high quality product. I was particularly pleased with the responsiveness to my many questions and concerns. Either it was attended to or a good reason was provided. They connected us up with a contractor to do the staircase and coordinated well with them. The work took longer than originally planned, but I did not, up front, indicate any deadlines and they were always responsive when queried.

Leghart Bros. did an outstanding job refurbishing our floors. The floors are beautiful! They were willing to do half our house at a time (sometimes even half a room depending how the floor was laid) so we didn't need to remove all of our furnishing. We simply shoved everything to one side (in most cases) until the sanding was done and the finish dried then they returned to complete the rest of the house after we moved everything out of the way again. They were punctual and attentive and did everything they said they were going to do.

I had some pet stained hardwood flooring. They purchased hardwood flooring to match. They cut the stained boards out and replaced with new ones. It was an excellent job and is hard to tell that it was not original flooring.

My phone call was returned promptly and we scheduled an estimate. He showed up for the estimate on time and we scheduled the job for 10/9. They were actually able to come a week earlier since we had already prepped the rooms before the estimate. Day one: they showed up on time, sanded, stained, and put first coat of finish. Day two: second coat of finish in the morning then returned early evening for the second coat. Very satisfied with the job and employees who did the work. I plan to use them again in the futurte to finish the livingroom and entry hallway.

The team was friendly, prompt and very tidy. They kept me appraised of procedures and timing. The job ended up being much more tricky than anticipated, but the owners stuck with it until I was completely satisfied. They went above and beyond normal expectations. Eric and Garry promised me that they would make me happy in the end, and they did. The floors are beautiful!

The work went very well, and the floors look beautiful. However, I was a bit uneducated on how hard it is for stairs to be refinished, but Eric sent Jeff back to hand sand and coat the risers. After he was finished, the stairs looked much better. I really appreciated him trying to make me happy, not many contractors care about doing that. All in all, the floors are beautiful and hopefully, my asthma will be much better without all the carpet. I highly recommend this company.

i found Eric Leghart on Angie's list and I'm glad I did. He did some hardwood repair on a house I sold last year and the family room in my new house had hardwoods that were dull and stained, After sanding and refinishing I am amazed at the result and couldn't be more pleased.

The new flooring was stacked in my house for a week before it was installed so that the wood had adjusted to its permanent location. The old floors are beautiful and you can only distinguish the old flooring from the new if you know where it changes. They were very careful to match flooring levels in transitions from the family room to a bathroom and from the existing flooring to the new wood floors. They put a 4th coat of finish on the kitchen and family room at my request. All the other rooms had 3 coats.

Awful, Lousy, Terrible. Ruined the diningroom floor. Scary workers. I ended up redoing it myself, enough said.

Brian was super! He wasn't the least expensive estimate I got (I contacted 5 providers) but he was pretty reasonable. More importantly, Brian gets an A+ for being easy to communicate with. In terms of punctuality, when he says he'll be at your home at 7:30 AM, you can see his truck pulling in at 7:25, consistently. He not only removed the old carpeting from my very large basement, he pulled out all the cabs and appliances, inc. the toilet, so that the tile could be laid everywhere, in case I want to change the footprint in the future. His men were all extremely polite and professional; I never felt uncomfortable having them in my home. He also rolls with the flow very well. Some of the tile got delayed in delivery and Brian had no problem filling the time with other stuff that needed to be done. He warned me not to seal the grout for at least 2-3 weeks to allow it to fully dry, and also, to use a sealant that can be applied to the entire tile area instead of trying to just seal the cracks. Lastly, I wanted to have electric heating installed in a section of the basement that my daughter spends the majority of her time in. Brian made sure the pads were placed perfectly!!

We can't say enough about Eric and his team. We found them on AngiesList and had Eric come to our house for an estimate. We thought we could trust him and his price for the work was fair. He gave us a clear estimate and price, and we asked him to perform the work. Eric is very responsive. He and I exchanged phone calls and texts even before he started the job and throughout the job, and all questions I had were answered timely. When the guys showed up to work, they were professional and courteous and made sure they knew how I wanted the floors to look. The whole job except the last 2 coats of poly were done on the first day. The guys worked quickly and worked hard. Eric stopped by to ensure the job was meeting our expectations. The guys returned the next 2 mornings to complete the poly coats and fill various holes. After the job was completed, the floors look AMAZING. We thought the guys did a fantastic job and the floors are gleaming. We realized the they forgot to fill a hole in the office floor where coaxial once came through. I contacted Eric and even though the job was finished and we had paid in full, Eric himself showed up at our house and repaired the final hole. After having Leghart Brothers repair and renew our floors, we can say, without hesitation, that we would recommend this company. They are honest, efficient, and reasonably priced and they show up, work hard, and complete the job as promised. We will absolutely be calling them for future refinishing work. Thanks again, Eric. They were very responsive to my request for an estimate - came to the house, viewed the rooms, gave me a written estimate of the cost and the time to do the job, answered my questions. When I called to schedule the job, once again they were responsive and set a date convenient for me. The man to replace the floor boards came at 9 o'clock on Monday, removed the old boards and replaced them with new. A team of 3 men came Tuesday, sanded the floors and applied the first coat of polyurethane. They returned Wednesday and Thursday to apply the remaining 2 coats. The workers were punctual, quiet, hard-working, thorough, and well-mannered, and cleaned up any mess. When I needed to change the time because I needed to take a friend to the doctor, they were very accommodating and changed their schedule so that the job could be completed on time. The floors are absolutely beautiful. I could not be happier. I intend on hiring this company in the future to refinish my living room floor. This was an extremely positive experience.

The flooring has a mellow, deep glow, and looks just right in this 100+ year old house. The Legharts did a great job, were punctual, easy to communicate with, and did careful work. In our case, the bedrooms had 100+ year old heart pine floors, and we needed to source the antique flooring. Gerry was able to place the "new" boards without face-nailing them, which was great. The match was very nice - the new and old boards look the same - and I would highly recommend the Legharts if you need to have heart pine floors repaired or refinished. The oak areas look great, too. The Legharts wanted to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction, even after we made the final payment: Gerry came back to replace one board and to add two thresholds. Again, I would highly recommend them.

They are refinishing my wood floor. They communicate very well, the pricing was good. I appreciate using someone local and I would recommend them to others.

Eric Leghart was responsive and professional, explained the plan and answered all of my questions, and did a great job of setting realistic price and schedule expectations. After I had paid them, I found a remaining issue and wondered if I would be able to get it resolved in a timely manner. There was NO need to worry ? Eric called immediately and they came back right away to correct it. Eric and his brother Jerry were wonderful to work with. My floors are beautiful and I would not hesitate to call these guys again or recommend them!

Out of the 3 contractors who I received quotes from, not only was Leghart Brothers the highest rated on Angie's List, they also came in with the lowest bid - great combination! The project included my living room, dining room, and landing/foyer where several staircases come together. The removal of the carpeting and hardwood installation took two full days. The sanding and first coat of polyurethane took about 6 hours on a third day, with two 30 minute visits the fourth day to add the second and third coats of polyurethane. I chose to not go with a stain, going with a clear finish, and that really allows the wood to shine through. As a secondary benefit, that saved both time and additional cost. Everybody was a joy to work with. Eric was always available via cell phone, and texting allowed us to coordinate times each day. The only reason I gave them a downgrade for punctuality was that two of the days they arrived half an hour late. I feel guilty even mentioning that, but it's about the only thing I can think of that wasn't PERFECT with the project. Also keep in mind that there is a 10% discount if you pay with cash, which was clearly a significant savings in my case. You want to work with these guys!

Eric promptly returned my call, scheduled time to look over the job and do an estimate. T.J. and Jeff arrived to do the job and they did fantastic work. There wasn't a speck of sawdust anywhere and the floor looks brand new. The work done was in my dad's house who recently passed away; and it really meant so much to me that they took such care. Eric and his team come highly recommended by me. Very professional, reliable craftsmen.

Eric Leghart came to my home, within a day or two of my call, to give an estimate on fixing a long deep scratch that went across a few planks of my hardwood flooring at my front entry. He was punctual, professional, and very nice. He sanded out the scratches there on the spot and coated them with polyurethane, just to see if that would fix the problem without having to replace the individual boards. He told me to see how it looked when it dried, and if it wasn't acceptable, he would come back and remove the boards and replace them. He remarked that he didn't like the way it was drying so far himself, and that he would probably need to come back. I asked him how much I owed him thus far, and he told me not to worry about it. He wanted me to wait and see how it looked when it finished drying. I ended up calling him back a couple of days later to schedule replacing the boards. I needed it done on a Monday morning, and he was able to accommodate me. He emailed me before my scheduled service date to let me know that he was sending two of his men, whose names I am sorry to say I do not remember, and they would do the work for us. They showed up promptly this morning and were able to replace the boards that had the scratches on them, without disturbing the integrity of the other boards. They carefully selected hardwood planks that matched as closely as possible the existing floorboards. They blend wonderfully and nobody would ever notice the difference. They did a great job, cleaned up as they went along, answered a few questions for me regarding another area of my home, and made sure I was happy before packing to leave. I want to thank Eric, and the two gentlemen he sent to my home, for doing such a nice job. I wish all businesses treated their customers/clients this well. They not only do nice work, they actually return phone calls and e-mails in a timely manner. That is very hard to find these days. My husband and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone reading this, and to anyone we know needing their type of services.

The work was done quickly and very professionally. The workers were clean and polite.

We had a mess on our hands. We just got done having our floors resanded and finished and the job was absolutely terrible! Called Eric Leghart and his company came in right away and accurately quoted the job and were completed within two weeks. The floors are as good as they can be. I wish that we would've contacted Leghart Brothers from the start. Their work is awesome. Quality is the utmost importance to them. I could not recommend them any more highly.

The Process was explained in detail, estimate given, no hard selling. 3 specialist crews split up the work, all on time, had attention to detail, professional in work ethic. Eric Leghart was always available, and answered any questions along the way. The final result was exceptional, beautiful hardwood flooring in the Living Room, Dining Room, Family Room, and Kitchen area. The Price was very reasonable for the expert job that was performed.

They repaired and refinished all the oak floors in the house. They charged a little more for the kitchen since it was covered in tar paper that was used to glue down linoleum tiles in the 1950's. They also charge extra for stairs They sanded all the floors (including 2 flights of stairs), plugged all holes, repaired all broken boards and then clear coated everything with 3 coats of poly. They were very easy to schedule for a quote and flexible when they came to do the work. Would and have recommended them to others.

I got them from Angie’s List and they were excellent. They have a grade ‘A’ on Angie’s List which is why I used him. They did a fantastic job. They were on time. They were clean and neat. With the removal of tiles it was a little over their estimate but it wasn’t bad. The total price does not include the materials and it was just the labor. I didn’t have a lot to compare their prices with.
