They did a good job for me and I would use them again should the need arise.

Three companies had turned down this job, or quoted such an outrageous price ($7000 for one room) indicating that they didn't want this job either. Leghart Brothers gave us a very detailed quote and a reasonable time line. They did exactly what they had promised at the price quoted. The two brothers did most of the work themselves, there was one helper. The result of the work is very beautiful. The brothers are easy to work with and explained all questions we had. They are friendly and congenial without wasting time with chitchat. We feel we were fortunate to have found this company.

It went extremely well. The only reason I did not give them an A in responsiveness is that they sometimes took a while to get back to me when I left messages for them (for example, to schedule an appointment to look at stains), but I have no complaints about the job they did. They did the floors when I was on vacation, and they look wonderful. The only hitch is when I came back the furniture was not moved back in place due to some delays in the floor drying, but on Monday they came first thing in the morning and did it right away. Overall, I think they did a fantastic job

From estimate to final payment it was a great experience. The Leghart brothers were very responsive, finished on time and did a great job. I had quotes for more and less but went with The Leghart brothers and would again

They are unbelievable. I called the guy on a Monday about three weeks ago. He called me back before lunch and came out and gave me an estimate that same day. He said he was booked until June and I was going on vacation for a couple of weeks. I got back and he had left a message on my machine to see if we were still on. They showed up right on time and finished in about three days. It was unreal. It's beautiful and they did an excellent job. The price was good. I'm going to have them do my dining room.

I called them and they returned my call within half an hour. He came out the next day to give me a quote. He gave me a quote on the spot. He was on time and I can?t say one bad thing about them. They were here when we were on vacation. Nobody was here and we trusted them. When we came back, everything was perfect and clean. There was nothing to tell that they were here, except for beautiful floors.

The crew arrived on time did their job of sanding the kitchen and hallway floors. They returned to stain and urethane the next morning. This company did exactly what they said they were going to do and did a great job. Floors look great and we were very happy with the finished product.

Eric was easy to deal with to set up a time for the estimate - he showed up when he said he would and gave a quote that was straightforward. He had no problem recommending a finish style that was less expensive to me. I had the work done when I was out of town, and when I got back the floors looked like new. They did a great job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have hardwood floors done.

The were always on time and stayed until everything was done. It took two days to have a 9x9 entry, hallway, and approx 15x15 diningroom done. They repaired two small areas as well. I would absolutely have work done by these guys again. Their work was great, the floors are beautiful. They were curteous and professional. My only critism would be that they did not make us aware ahead of time of the very bad fumes that would come from the sealant so we were not prepared and unable to get our things from the upper floor to get out on the first day and did not dispose of the garbage that was left from the job. Other than that...excellent.

I am very pleased w/the final results. Eric was very courteous and responsive and they even started the work a day early, finishing the whole project in only 2 days. The floors are gorgeous and there was absolutely NO mess left behind. I would definitely use the Leghart Brothers again, and I definitely recommend them to others.

Had been several years of semi-varnished and half-unfinished floors in my old house. Splinters and nails all over the place - lots of paint and plaster on the wood, the result of poor attempts at remodeling projects from previous owners. Called Leghart and had an estimate in a few days based on measurements. He even provided estimates for stain if I had decided to do so (they put test stains down but I liked the natural way more than the stain). Scheduled the work to begin May 10 - and they were right on time. Took exactly as long as they said it would. Eric was very responsive in calls as well as text messages (a nice feature since I am at work during the day) - the floors look gorgeous and I am very very pleased with the work!

What I liked about this company was their professionalism and ease to deal with. Their price was 20 less than the other bid i got and they put 3 coats of finish where the other company was only going to put 2.

Leghart Brothers were excellent in all respects. They arrived promptly when due for estimate, and then started work exactly when scheduled. They were very helpful in discussing options both for some small repairs and for types of finish. They did the work in the expected amount of time, and the finished product is fantastic. These guys know their craft, and I would recommend them anytime to anyone.

My husband and I purchased a home in November 09. Much of the house was carpeted but under the dirty old carpet was gorgeous hardwood in need of TLC. It was a no-brainer to pull up the carpet and restore the hardwood, but then we had to decide on who to have in during a peak time of year with holidays pending. So here we came to the list and hunted through for the best and I think we found it. These two guys came in despite a busy schedule and gave us an estimate that was right in the ballpark of what we had expected- and actually a little under. We needed an entire house done before the new year and they pulled it off in no time. They worked while another crew was in doing an upstairs remodel and while we took a family holiday out of state. We came back to beautiful floors and could not have been happier with the work performed. I cannot reccomend these folks more- good price, punctual, fun to talk to and as accomodating as possible.

My carpeting was very dirty and with several animals, I felt it was not the best option. The Leghart Brothers removed the old carpeting and the strips and staples. They repaired the holes that were left because of the staples. They also repaired a section of the floor that had been burned. They gave us a good idea of what would happen prior to their service, then they kept up informed along the way. They also made recommendations. My only disappointment is that they couldn't replace the corner round that had been removed when the carpets were installed, but they didn't know this was the case and they never said that they could. They were great. They cleaned up and came every day until the job was done.

They did a real nice job. It took a few weeks to get them scheduled, but once they started they worked straight through and got it done on pretty much in the amount of time they had promised. It looks very, very nice.

They were the best with their estimate. There was no charge for the estimate. Their price was within the ballpark of the others and they came under several others. I would use them in future if I decide to do my floors.

They were just excellent and did a wonderful job. He matched the hardwood floor with the existing floors as much as possible. It is a small company; they are very personable and very interested in doing what the customer want to have done. They also provide very good suggestion, if they think something is not suitable to your needs. They are very professional in their record keeping, appointment scheduling and do not take too many projects at one time.

We could not have been happier. The rooms looked like new floors were put down. We are so mad we didnt take before and after pictures because if you didnt see them before you wouldnt appreciate the beauty of the completed task. I was extremely happy with how clean and neat Eric and Gerry left the house when they were finished. There was not a spec of dust left on any of the floors. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

Very Good. The final price came in about $500 more than the original estimate. That was OK since the existing ceramic tile flooring was so difficult to remove. They originally estimated 2 days to remove the floor and it took 6 days. They had to grind up the mortar instead of chip it out. It was a mess for several days. The increase in price was VERY reasonable considering the difficult time they had with the floor removal. The floor look great. We have had many compliments so far.

The experience was extremely good. They are very economical. I wouldn't say cheap, because cheap suggests poor quality. They were significantly less expensive than their competitors. They were very good; we've used them before for refinishing floors. They're very good at what they do.

The Leghart brothers were professional, friendly and efficient. They did the work at a reasonable price and our floors look beautiful. I would recommend their services to anyone.

Eric was very good about calling me back. His price was fair and we went ahead with the job. The hard part was moving all the furniture out of three bedrooms (my husband and I), and into our living/dining room. Eric said they would move the furniture, but at a cost of $25 per piece. They came to our house while we worked and that part turned out fine. They sanded the first day and a half. Part of the second day he stained, and day 3 and 4 he did the polyurethane. The only issue we ran into was that on the second day, Thursday, he didn't call us to tell us he would be late (due to them working on another job), so our house was left open for them most of the day. Since he got there late, we couldn't walk on our steps (get from the basement tothe upstairs) until 7p or later, and this did pose a problem for us. Also, we noticed our thermostat was turned up higher than normal and put on hold. I didn't know until I questioned it that the house needs to be at a certain temperature to "cure the floors". Overall, the job went fine and our floors do look nice. I told him I wanted them darker and shiny, and he did them that way. He and his brother were both nice and answered the many questions I asked of them.
