Hutton Painting & Remodeling

The team was fantastic!!! From the sales process, quoting, communications and scheduling to the work itself. The rooms looks so great. The guys were very professional and friendly. They talked me through everything they were doing and we are very pleased. Can't wait to work with them again on future projects.

Hutton is a family owned business. They're responsive while their schedule in spring 2107 typically ran two to three weeks with advance notice. The wallpaper was meticulously removed. The wall painting was clean while the clean-up was complete and efficient.

we got 5 quotes, from $8,000 to $22,000. Hutton's bid was $22,000 and by far the most expensive of all of them. Beware!

Everything went very well. They were scheduled to come Thursday and Friday to complete the job, but on Wednesday my dog got sick and I couldn't have them on Thursday. They were very nice about it and did the painting on Friday and completed the painting. They are coming back on the following Tuesday to finish another part of the job, which is patching and painting door frames where baby gates used to be.

Looking at the kitchen ceiling and the locations upstairs where the holes in the walls were, you could not tell that the damage ever existed. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were on time every time. They did quality work. And they were very clean. As a bonus, they were pleasant people to work with. The price seemed reasonable considering the hours put in and the quality of the work. However, fortunately, I don't have much to compare it with.

The Company is very responsive and professional. The crew arrived at the appointed time and got right to work with minimum disruption to my day. The repairs and painting look wonderful and they cleaned up and put everything back in its place. I highly recommend Hutton and look forward to hiring them for my next paint project.

Everything about this project was a pleasure - from the estimate (most reasonable of the several I got), to the responsiveness, to the professionalism of the crew who did the work, to their consideration of my home and schedule and ultimately to the beautiful job they did. Joe was the leader of this job, he brought along Kevin and Ryan. They are all part of the Hutton family. Joe said he'd be at my house between 8:30 and 9. Joe and his crew came promptly at 8:30 and explained how everything would proceed. They worked and only took an hour for lunch and worked until 3 pm. I needed an old style baseboard and Joe went to three stores before finding the matching baseboard at Brookside lumber. Everyday they came right on time and worked all day. Joe found the right shelving as in our other bedroom. He matched the stain perfectly for our baseboards and he brought a color wheel so I could pick the right colors for my bedrooms. The job took a day more than they thought but that was only because Joe did not want to rush to finish. They did an excellent job and very professional yet friendly and easy to talk to. I was very happy with their workmanship and how nice everything looks. They are very reasonably priced as well and you don't have to provide the materials because they ask what you want and then they go buy it. I highly recommend them for any painting and wood work you would want

We are completely happy with the work preformed. It was done quickly and without jeopardizing workmanship. We never found ourselves waiting for them to come back. I highly recommend this company and their employees.

Excellent, fast work done by very nice workers

It went amazingly smooth. I had just finished refinishing my cabinets and counter tops. They were very careful not to get anything on them. Very clean and cleaned up when they were done. My kitchen looks amazing.

They needed to replace electrical connections that were done by the previous owner and tied everything into the main circuit box cleanly. Wonderful. Although it was a little tricky to nail down some dates at first (they do good work and therefore they are busy most of the time) everything after that was a breeze. Estimate was fair. Crew showed up on time each morning. Worked quickly. Were conscious of not making a mess in my house. Did a great job in a short amount of time. Work they did totally transformed the house, it looks great. We will have them out again soon to start working on other areas of our home that need a little TLC. A great group of guys who were very respectful while they were in our home. Thanks for the hard work!

Ceiling look awesome, can not even tell they have been patched!

It went well. They scheduled the work during January since it was their slow season and I got a reduction in the price. They arrived on time and worked steadily for 5 days. When they weren't actively working they were out getting materials, etc. They finished up on time. There was a punch list a few days later. I called, and they came within two days. The punch list was short, and easily handled. I like this provider because they always turn up when they are scheduled, and they are better than most at communication. I also appreciate that it is a family business, and everyone is competent and reliable.

They were on time and completed the work in 4 hours. Very professional and cleaned up after they were finished.

We purchased a house that was built in 1969 and nothing had been updated. We have been slowly remodeling and decided to contract someone out for the drywall work. We removed wallpaper after wallpaper in each of the rooms and with the removal came some of the drywall. We also decided to completely revamp our kitchen; which included ripping out tree beams that made the room feel smaller as well as cabinets. The beams and kitchen ceilings needed drywall and extensive repairs. Hutton Painting worked hard to repair walls, remove rest of wallpaper, patch up drywall where needed, replace or put drywall where it was missing from the removal of cabinets and prep the walls for paint. They were extremely professional and got the job done. The crew even worked around our electrician that came out and we had no electric for 2 days; we very rarely find a company that does that. One of the guys Justin always was there to answer any of our questions and was extremely understanding about our needs. They even walked through the house with us several times and anything we needed to adjust, add on, or fix they did it. We have another full bathroom and bedroom that needs work and we will be calling them again. Great guys and great service. Thank you Hutton Painting and Angies List for this great company.
