They did a great job and were great guys. We are going to get an estimate for exterior painting from them as well.

Don & his team did a great job! It took awhile to get a date for them to start because they had offered a coupon on Angie's List and had a big response to it. But once they had it scheduled, they showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and finished the job in 2 days. Very pleased with the results - would definitely recommend this company.

Started on time, communication was sufficient and the work was excellent for the price.

Overall it was a positive expereince for the price. I could have never done this work myself so I accomplished my summer goal. If they run the deal again I would purchase it for sure!!

Don't hesitate to hire Hutton Painting/Remodeling. It has been by far one of the most pleasant and productive home-repair experiences in our 25 years of being homeowners. We are so glad that we met Don, Shane, and Cole and their team. We were enormously impressed--really, we were blown away--by every aspect of the work and with our interactions with the Hutton team. Don gave me an estimate in early Spring, and he told me when he planned to start the job. He started the job on exactly the day he said he would. In the weeks leading up to the job, I was assuming that there would be delays--there often are delays because of weather or other factors--but although they were very busy this Spring and Summer, they started our job exactly on time. We did not maintain the paint well over the years, so there was a lot of peeling on the siding, doors, concrete, and trim. And our house is tall (three storeys) and it's close to the houses on either side of it. They took care of the peeling paint efficiently, thoroughly, and quickly. They took extreme care with the furniture and plants around our house, and the cleanup of all of that peeling paint was unbelievable. Honestly, had I not seen the improvements (no more peeling paint!), I wouldn't have known the team had been there working on the house. There wasn't a speck of paint to be found on the grounds. We don't understand how they did that level of cleanup. After he was power-washed the house, Shane power-wash our deck and when he finished, it looked like a completely new deck. My husband and I said that we don't ever remember the deck looking so great. They worked with us to figure out the right stain color to apply to it afterward. We know nothing about this sort of thing, and that they helped us with that meant a lot. Concurrent with this work, my husband and I had been discussing whether our front door system (door, side lights, transom) needed to be replaced. We know that the door has been sticking/leaking, and that we have not maintained it well in the last few years. We thought the wood was not able to be salvaged and that we might need a whole new system, which is extremely expensive. We asked Don for his opinion about the wood in the front door. He offered to strip it back to the bare wood to assess its condition. When he did that, he found that it wasn't as bad as he thought it was going to be, and that it could be saved. He replaced two pieces of wood at the bottom of the side lights and then made repairs to the rest of the door and wood around it. For as long as we've lived in this house, there has been about a 3" gap above our front door's transom. It has always puzzled us, and it looked like crap. Don noticed that and offered improve that for us. It had never occurred to us to do that before. Those repairs and improvements to the door made an enormous difference to our entryway, and it kept us from having to replace the entire system. That Don was able to do this for us and help us so much--it was beyond the scope of the paint work that we initially discussed--that impressed us to no end. The paint job itself is spectacular. You can never overestimate the effect of a new coat of paint. Our house looks so different now--it looks alive again. We wanted to stay with a very simple color scheme, and the Huttons did that to perfection. The care they took with the job was astounding. I am very, very grateful to them for the work they did and for their caring, professionalism. They are conscientious and knowledgeable. They're also really nice people. I met Ken and his son--they're just super-nice too. And they're all very good at their jobs. It's so cool when you wind up working with people who are not only experts, but they're good people as well. It's a bonus when that happens, and we were so grateful that it happened with this job. I found myself wondering if this family-owned/operated company does other types of home repairs--they do. I will be turning to them for every one of our painting needs and anything else that falls within the scope of the work that they do. With an old house, it's very nice to know that a company like this is available to help. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Don, Shane, Cole, Joey, Billie, Mike and Luke work like a well-oiled machine. After a quick walk-through, a plan was developed and everyone just went to work. They were personable, friendly and respectful of me and my belongings. They moved and protected all of my furniture and were especially careful of my many antiques. They even arranged things so that I could sleep in my own bed every night even though they painted my bedroom. Their painting was precise and neat. They cleaned up and placed the furniture back in it's place so that my house looked like they'd never been here! Don's wall texturing was like watching an artist at work! I would hire Hutton Painting and Remodeling back in a heartbeat!!

Donald and his sons Shane and Cole were all professional and punctual. Shane and Cole did the painting. They were polite and personable. They were neat and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves, even sweeping under the refrigerator and stove when they moved them. Shane noticed that some ceiling white got on my Living and dining room walls from my son's previous attempt to paint the ceiling. Shane matched up and painted over the spots with paint I had. This was not part of the job!. Shane just wantrd to make sure it looked nice! I noticed a very rare spatter. It was a great experience.

This is the first time I’m using their services. I got ten quotes for this job. I was very impressed with them. They were very precise in what they expected to deal with. They told me where they might have to deal with different circumstances and at least so far I’m close to the end of the job that is going to be quite right on the money. They would do exactly what they said. I would use their services again in the future.

The people were polite, and they did a good job. I had a couple of issues with paint overage onto baseboards and stuff like that; they offered to come back out and touch those up, so that was good. I used the Big Deal offer from Angie’s List. It was a three-bedroom special. It was more than what the original list was. It was about $499 or $599, and they charged me extra for the ceiling - extra because my rooms were a little bit bigger than what the standard square footage on the deal was. I had to pay for the paint. I have relatively small rooms, and I was surprised that I had to pay extra. I did not realize that a ceiling was not part of a room, and I had to pay extra for that. I don’t know if I would use them again in the future.

The entire experience was first rate; from the initial estimates through to project completion. From the start, we set the expectation with them that we tend to be very picky, and that our eyes tend to go immediately to any imperfections in the finished product. And in the finished product, they met our expectations. Very nice job.

The finished work is very nice. The price was discounted because the work was done in the off season. It has been 6 months (I never got around to giving our review). We are very pleased.

Don, Shan, Cole worked with us to determine the most economical solutions to resorting this house to an at new or better condition. Hutton painting was able to provide a coemptive quote against much larger painting contactor and maintain a personable cutomer service. Don & Shane communicated very well through out the entire process working with us to types, styles of paints and colors to best delivery the end results we were looking for. They worked well with us any time we made changes in colors as we worked throughout the house. The provided a large enough crew to get the job done on time an in budget. Don, continued to tell us that they will do what ever it take to make it right and they did every time. It was a painless experience. Very professional. Very adept at painting.

I got him through one of Angie's List big deals. He painted one of the ceilings and the other one is waiting to be painted. I need to get some plastering and wall paper damage repaired. He did a nice job on the first one. It was neatly cleaned and detailed.

Don Hutton was present to start the project and do the plaster repairs on walls. Don left his crew of four painters to do the rest of the painting and clean up. The project progressed smoothly, was finished quickly, and was neatly done. I don't think it would be possible for a painting project like this to run more smoothly. Don and his crew were very professional in handling the entire project.

They arrived at 9:15am with 6 painters on the first day and 2 painters on the 2nd day. They identified which rooms were to be painted and colors for each room. They left around 3:30 both days. They covered all my furniture in plastic to keep it clean. they explained everything as they went along and always asked me before they did anything with my furniture. They repaired spots in my wall before painting. They swept and vacuumed before they left.

The whole process from receiving the estimate to completing the painting went well. The painters were punctual, professional, and courteous. The crew was careful in moving our furniture, carefully covered all the furniture, and cleaned up everyday. If you want a good paint job, I'd recommend Hutton Painting.

Donnelly Hutton was the owner. He was very good. He is pretty reliable. He is a nice guy. His family is nice. I think it was his dad, brothers and himself were painters themselves. It was nice to deal with them. I would use him in the future.

They were prompt, clean, professional and friendly. The work went smoothly, without any disruptions, and they were careful with my belongings, and asked questions as necessary about whatever household fixture or structure that involved or adjoined their work area. Paint selection was easy, and they got exactly what I wanted, even made a suggestion for trim in the hallway that I decided I preferred over my original choice. Almost six months later, I see very few flaws that would make me have second thoughts. I have contacted them about returning to pressure wash and paint my old aluminum siding on the exterior of the house this spring.

It was great and on time. The proposal was competitive. The work was done per the schedule agreed upon. The work was done well and efficient.

It was a coupon deal from Angies List. The kitchen ceiling was badly in need of repair and also paint. The plaster work was done very well, and Don used paint I had to finish the ceiling. I think he also used a fast drying primer. I am highly satisfied with the work. It went much more quickly than I had anticipated. This is a few months later: I am still very pleased with this work. When I look at the ceiling it makes me happy. I would definitely recommend this company.

The job was handled very professionally. Everything was cleaned up thoroughly after the job was completed. I was very pleased with the work and plan to have them do more painting in my home.
