It was more of a job than we all expected but this crew really knew what they were doing and worked so well together until the job was finished. The guys were a pleasure to have in the house and were very polite and timely. It was wonderful to see father, sons and lifelong friends of the sons working together in such harmony. A good team and will definitely have them back as there is still one more room to have paper stripped and painted. There were days when we weren't able to be there but felt very comfortable giving them door code so they could get into the house. They do not hire anyone that they don't know personally and that was very reassuring. Great family and business!!!

The crew of three did an excellent job. The task was a difficult one of which I tried my best to do but could never remove the super-glued wallpaper and then get the damaged wallboard smooth and ready to paint. They were able to accomplish this and my walls look perfect now to paint. Cole, Chad and Luke were very professional. They removed and hauled away all the debris, taped off areas that need protected, used drop-clothes. put up plastic barriers when sanding, and cleaned-up completely. The job was done in the time estimated.

Provider stopped at my residence and later provided me a written estimate. The estimate was way more than I had anticipated. I will not be using this provide.

We called several times to set up a time to look at our kitchen. After coming to the house, we were told we would get an estimate emailed to us and we never did. We found someone that can start soon.

These painters are a class act! They are professional, detail-oriented, completely reliable and trustworthy, and careful painters. They made helpful recommendations for treating the wood trim of a 200 year old log house on our property. In short, they are excellent painters, do high quality work, and have a terrific work ethic. We are planning to sell this home but will most definitely be using their services again on our next home. As just one example of their wonderful customer service, we noticed a crack in a pane of glass not long after the window frame was painted. The window glass is likely over 100 years old, and very fragile. The painters, headed by Shane Hutton, had no awareness of cracking a window but nevertheless took complete responsibility for locating similar historic glass and then returning to replace the window pane.

My experience went well. They only gave an estimate, but they seemed to be very professional, efficient and thorough. They were also very helpful and I would consider using this companyagain in the future.

They arrived on time, moved all furniture out of living room, did a very good job and moved all furniture back into the living room. They cleaned up after themselves. Very satisfied.

I bought a Big Deal for 3 hours of Drywall/Plaster repair, scheduled an appointment to have my plaster looked at between the 9:00AM & 12:00PM window on Monday, March 31 and I waited for the 3 hours, but nobody showed! I called Don and he apologized,saying it was a mishap on his end and accidentally forgot he had my appointment that day...I figured no big deal lets give it another shot and we lined up a 2nd appointment. We rescheduled for Wednesday between the time of 12:00PM & 3:00PM and I juggled my work schedule again for another no show! I called leaving a voicemail asking what was going on, I received a call back about 3:30PM saying he had a busy day, no cell phone reception where he was and he wasn't far and if wanted he would still come, no thanks I already spent 6 hours waiting on an estimate!

We loved that this was a family run business. All the men were genuinely considerate and nice people. They did a beautiful job painting all of our trim, baseboards, and windows. As a new mother, I felt comfortable having them in my home. They moved all furniture and blinds, and then they cleaned up nicely when they were finished. We would definitely use them again if we need painting done in the future!

I purchased the coupon on 1/24/2014. The service called me back about 4 days later but I could not understand the message on my machine so I emailed them via Angie's list. They did not respond. When I looked up the service in the online Yellow pages it wasn't clear which business I had bought the coupon for. The addresses were different and none matched my coupon address. I called one listing anyway and it was the correct one. I did speak with someone. I gave them my cell phone number and I was given a cell phone number. I left a message at the given cell phone number. It was at least a week before they called me back. We set up an appointment and they were to arrive at my home at 9am on a Monday. I asked them to call or text before coming. They called about 10am. I missed the call. I called them back and they said they would be out the next day. When they hadn't arrived by 10am I called them. The person I spoke to stated he hadn't said he would be out the next day and he did not have his schedule and would call me back. He called back several days later and we made another appointment. He did arrive on time. When I received the estimate three days later by email it was much more then I expected and nowhere on the contract did it reflect my Angie's list coupon. I purchased the coupon on 1/24/2014 and it wasn't until 3/14 they they had come to my home to provide me with an estimate.

He did the walls, but he didn't paint around the window trim. He also didn't do the windowsills. I just didn't feel that the walls added up to the square footage in the big deal.

They were great to work with, providing very useful advice and high quality work. In addition to being very professional, they were also genuinely nice people.

We liked that it's a family company. They don't hire from the outside to do their work. The gentleman who came to do the estimates, I believe, was the father. He was extremely professional and we just like the feeling of giving some business to a down-on family company and not a big contracting corporation that hires out their work.

Mr. Hutton and his sons were the most professional workmen that I have ever had in my home. And I have had a lot. They were scheduled to start at 9:00 but called before that to tell me they were running a little late due to bad winter weather conditions. Before they stepped into my house they placed clean drop cloths everywhere. They moved my furniture for me and covered everything. They removed window blinds and rehung them when they were done. They were so considerate and were such gentlemen and worked very fast. They completely cleaned up when they were finished without using my sink or cleaning supplies and took everything with them. I had nothing to do after they left except enjoy my beautiful new dining room! I highly recommend Hutton Painting and will definitely use them again. If you want a job done cleanly and if it is important to you to have it done right then you need to call Hutton Painting.

Arrived on time. Very professional, very clean, and superb painting skills. The chalking was excellent. Highly recommended.

This time they painted a wood picket fence outside that was in pretty sad shape. They did an awesome job as usual and recommended stain instead if paint so it would last longer. It looks beautiful and my yard is no longer the ugly duckling in the neighborhood.

First, it took the contractor six months after getting paid to provide me with a bona fide proposal. As if that wasn't bad enough, he then attempted to con me by quoting a job that would have had me paying him at least $800 more for the very scope of work that he had promoted via the Big Deal at $499. In other words, had I fallen for it, I would have ended up paying at least $1299 for work that was only supposed to cost me $499. Furthermore, he has held my money continuously since May 27, 2012 and has never bothered to either contact me or return my money (in light of the fact that I was not going to do business with him on his objectionable terms), as an ethical businessman would be expected to do.

The workers worked quickly and did a great job. They were able to get the whole job done within two days. Everything was perfect! The paint job looked great. There were no streaks and drips lines. They covered everything with plastic so the paint did not get on the floor or furniture. Each day, they would cleaned up well and remove the plastic coverings. Scheduling was good too. They were busy but we were able to get an appointment set up. Overall, this was a great experience.

Hutton Painting and Remodeling did a wonderful job! I would highly recommend them to friends and family. When I called for an estimate, Don promptly returned my call and set up a time for an estimate. Every day they worked here, they arrived at the time they told me they would come. They painted most of my house, and they were very professional and courteous the entire time they were here (5 days). As they were painting, they made sure to cover everything with drop cloths and plastic. At the end of every day, they cleaned everything up so well that I did not even notice they were here. I was very impressed with everything about Hutton Painting and Remodeling, but the QUALITY of their work was what impressed me most. They take great pride in their work, and they wanted it to be top quality. Upon completion of the job, they told me that if I found anything that needed to be touched up that they would come and fix it for me. I am very pleased with the work of Hutton Painting and Remodeling, and I would definitely hire them again!

It was okay. It wasn't great or the best but it was alright. The price was kind of steep. It really wasn't a very good deal, actually, when it was all said and done. There was all these extra costs that weren't included. It was supposed to be for three rooms. I got my entryway, hall, and a bedroom painted. I had to pay all kinds of extra money. Ceilings were extra. They didn't even do the trim. Their quality was okay but they missed a few spots. I just didn't want to rock the boat and have them come back. They only put one coat on one wall. The walls weren't really smoothed out really well. I wouldn't use them again. They responded to me quickly and came out to give me an estimate but the time that they could actually do service was a few months out. They ended up not really communicating with me too well about it was going to take two days instead of just one. They were professional. They were okay but it just didn't turn out the way I thought it would. I really wished they would've sanded and smoothed my walls. I'm still finding things. I think if I contacted them they might be willing to come back and fix it. I just haven't done so.

They were fantastic! We chose them after reading other Angie's List reviews and they were all correct. They were great in completing an estimate, their price was the best we received and they were very flexible in working with our construction schedule. Most importantly, the work they completed was perfect. From the start they were wonderful. They were very professional suggesting appropriate finishes for different walls in our high entryway and thinking through how we will use the space - that was above and beyond to me. They used scaffolding for an awkward ceiling and left no marks or mess in any portion of our house. We needed to hang a chandelier in the space so they referred an electrician they have worked with in the past and allowed him to use their scaffolding which was greatly appreciated and a cost-savings for us. It was a large project so there were a number of people in and out over two weeks and they were all incredibly professional the entire time. The work is great. They paid attention to detail. For example, there is white trim against a dark staircase and on the last day one of the painters went around the entire perimeter with a small knife and ensured in was a perfect line. We did notice a few places that were missed and they came the next day to fix everything we found. At the conclusion, Don said if we see anything that we don't like even after we have been in the space for a few weeks, they stand behind their work and they will come and fix it. That is just fantastic business! They were great and I would absolutely use them again for future projects.

They were fantastic! Everything you would want in a painter - and more. Professional, detail oriented, helpful, considerate, neat, responsible, and flexible to move around to different rooms of the house pretty much as we dictated. The work took several weeks but the disruption to us was minimized by the way they cleaned up after themselves. They even offered and helped to move back and/or rearrange furniture upon completion. They clearly operate by the motto "The client is always right". We selected Hutton Painters because of their reputation on Angie's List - we were not disappointed! They are excellent painters, do high quality work, and have a terrific work ethic. We plan to use their services in the Spring to paint the exterior of our home.

He came over to give us a full estimate. He was extremely friendly and thorough with his measuring. We opted out of the deal because they could not do the three rooms for the price we thought.

It went very well and they did a great job. They even came back to hang some of the mirrors that needed to be hung.
