When they showed up to pressure wash my town house, they came with a cherry picker and got every bit of the 3 stories and the back deck clean. They noticed a water damaged plank on the back deck and when I told them to replace it, they got a replacement plank and installed it within an hour. Two coats of stain were put on the deck with a very nice color that they picked out. I had water damage to the kitchen ceiling for which the damaged area was removed and repaired. The repair is flawless. He matched the scrolling pattern on the ceiling as well as the color so that the repair is invisible.

I highly recommend Hutton Painting and Remodeling. I was preparing my house for sale and had a small window of time (one week) to get all of the major work finished. Don Hutton worked with my schedule to get the interior painting work done in that week. I had to get minor repair and touchup work done on living room ceiling (high ceiling) and walls; repair and painting of the ceilings in two bathrooms; painting of the walls and all trim in the finished basement family room and laundry room; and painting of two garage door interiors and one wall of the garage. Justin's work was excellent, and he made sure by asking me that he was doing exactly what I wanted done and that the work was meeting my expectations. In addition, he is so friendly and personable that it was a pleasure to have him working in the house. Don Hutton checked in every day to make sure that all was going well and that I was satisfied with the work (I was!). A day after all of the interior painting work was done, I discovered a leak in the master bathroom shower had damaged one wall in the bathroom closet. This was a "mini-crisis" because the house was going to be placed on the market the following week, and it couldn't be showed with this wall damage. This was a Friday afternoon. I lined up a plumber to come in on Monday, and then called Don Hutton and explained the situation. Justin made time in his schedule to come out on Monday after the plumber had finished his work to repair and paint the wall. Once again, he did an excellent job, and more. While he was waiting for the wall repair to dry enough to be able to paint, instead of sitting around killing time, Justin took it upon himself to paint the interior of the entry foyer closet with paint that was left from the previous work. That made a huge difference in the appearance and first impression of the house for any potential buyer as it was one of the first doors they would have opened upon entry into the house. Justin's work ethic and concern for customer needs is great, and reflects the character of Hutton Painting.

Painters were very professional and did an excellent job. They were very detailed in their work and were also very polite and accommodating to me and my schedule. I have very high ceilings in my living room and they did a great job getting the job done quickly. At the end of each day they were here they made sure to help keep my home in great livable condition in the evenings. I'd absolutely recommend using them to anyone I know and in the future if I have more projects that come up I'll give them a call.

It went very well. Shane Hutton came out to check work area. He was on time and professional. We had to change the original project upstairs to the room downstairs and also had to make a scheduling change to fit other workmen here into the overall project. Shane was able to accommodate the needed change without a hassle. The finished product looked great.

They were very nice and very courteous. They did a wonderful job and I would hire them again.

Everything in the process went smooth and without problem

This was the third time I've used Hutton's services, and results again were outstanding. Starting with an estimate for a partial interior painting, I kept adding additional wallpaper removal and paint work, and Hutton accommodated me immediately. Their crew was prompt, considerate, detail-oriented and thorough and they did a nice cleanup when the work was done. I certainly would use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

I could not be more pleased with the service and the quality of work. Don was super responsive and engaged in overseeing the job. Justin, who performed the work, was fantastic. He was always on time, thorough and dedicated to get the job done right. I was super impressed with the team's sincere desire to ensure that my husband and I were happy with the work. We selected paints that were very close in color and when the paints were applied to the wall, we didn't like it. But that wasn't a problem for the team. I quickly selected a new color. Justin applied the color to the wall. We loved it and the project was back on track. I would recommend Hutton Painting without hesitation and will be calling on them for future work.

For the most part the job went smoothly. They usually arrived about the same time, depending on traffic. There were some errors made, but Hutton has made every effort to make sure that they corrected the situation to meet with my satisfaction. Don Hutton is an upstanding man.

Don is VERY professional and also responsive. He showed up on time to see my house and gave professional advice about where and how to fix and paint the ceiling and walls . We needed to have the work done much sooner and that?s the reason why we didn?t use his company. However, it?s been a very pleasant experience talking and working with him for the consultation and free estimate. I will strongly recommend him to people who look for detailed-oriented, professional and trouble free painting company.

There was a free initial estimate that determined due ot the number of layers of wallpaper that were still on the wall and the fact it was damaging the plaster to remove more that the walls should be sanded and sealed before they could be painted or papered successfully. It took us several weeks to decide how to proceed because of the cost of the extra time if we were to have them paint too. They were patient with us on that score. When the work was finally ordered we agreed to just let them do the sanding and sealing, not finishing, because the cost of that was beyond our means at the time. There was a misunderstanding between the person approving the work and the workers. My husband called me to see what I had arranged as I was at work when they came. I was told that it was 2 workers for 2 hours because the coupon total was 4 hours. The workers thought it was a total of 4 hours for the 2 of them. They thought they had time on their hands so asked if they could go ahead and do some plaster repair which we had wanted but didn't included because they had the time. Then they were informed they did not have the time, so the plastering was discontinued. I was unfortunately not clear on what was going to be the result of their work.I presumed the walls would be sanded AFTER the special coating was applied, but that would have been extra.

This is the second and certainly not the last time we will use Hutton Painting & Remodeling. This is a very professional and highly skilled company. The folks who come to your house are friendly and willing to do anything they can to make sure that the work they do is superior in quality and is exactly what you want. These are craftsmen who pay attention to each and every detail. We are extremely pleased with the work they have done and I know that they will do the same quality work the next time we ask them. I would and do recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

They painted the whole apartment including the wood trim that needed a lot of prep work (sanding etc.) I am extremely satisfied with the results - the place looks great. They are very professional, and do the job right. Their prices are very reasonable, they show up on time, and get the job done quickly. I've also used them for two other painting jobs, both of which went just as well.

We are thrilled. Don and Shane and their team are so professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They came on time, responded to our questions ahead of time, and went way above and beyond the call of duty. We have an old house (~110 years old) that has very high ceilings. It had been >20 years since the first floor was painted. They had to recaulk so, so much just to prep the space for painting. They never complained, and the job they did was seamless. Because of the way we scheduled other repairs, we had a door and window replaced AFTER Don's/Shane and the team finished the painting. But unbelievably, THEY CAME BACK to repaint the trim around the new door and window. That is dedication there! Oh and they even repaired a hole in the wall that happened AFTER they finished that initial paint job. I'm thrilled, and the first floor looks amazing. We couldn't be happier. (The Huttons painted the outside of our house a few years ago--we were as happy with that job as we are with this job.)

Don was professional, thorough and knowledgeable. His estimate was very competitive, and I'm certain his company would do an excellent job. While we chose to go with another painter, I wouldn't hesitate to contact him again in the future.

The provider came and looked at the job and said I should get a quote within a few days. I was under a time crunch because I had to set a date for carpet installation in the bedroom. Unfortunately, I didn't get the quote on the day I was supposed to and I ended up choosing another provider. Even though things didn't work out, the price I was quoted was fair, the provider was professional and I would consider this provider in the future.

We were interested in this company because of good reviews and the fact that they remove wallpaper - not all painting contractors do. They showed up on time and worked promptly, efficiently. and in a very professional manner. After the paper was removed we decided to go with textured walls which are very satisfactory. The entire job took three and a half days. Their work is neat and they cleaned well after they were done. This is largely a family operated business that takes a great deal of pride in their work. I would (will) have no hesitation in using their services in the future..

I was not happy with the extra costs this company wanted to charge.

Hutton Painting is courteous and professional. They did a great job preparing and staining a large deck. They made good recommendations and got the work done quickly. I will use them again.

The whole thing was a pleasure. I got an estimate, which seemed fair (comparable to the other estimates I received), and then after I said I would like them to do the work, got a call back to schedule a day. About a week later, the crew showed up, did their thing on the first day, and then came back on the second day and finished the job. Everyone was nice, and most important, they did good work. The places where they painted look great! (I'm getting the house ready for sale). If I need painting at my new house, I'll definitely use them.

I know I sized the wall, but perhaps the builder had not used paint but just a thin primer. My hall is left with the inside of drywall showing throughout the hall. I can not fix it myself but need a professional plasterer. My kitchen was similarly resistant but taking my time with a lot of steam, I was able to take off the paper with minimal damage. I so wish I had taken this paper off myself also. **Update** 10/06/2014 They came out and fixed the issues that I had. Patched and repainted the wall.

They removed the wallpaper and the glue / sizing while we were at work. They called us to explain that one area of plaster had come off the wall, and that this was very unusual. I thanked them for calling, and told them it was a 100+ year old house, and that we were not surprised. I felt they did a very good job, and appreciated them calling back to explain.

Very good job. Completed in a timely manner and thorough. Price was reasonable. Professional and up front.

Timely. Issue with wallpaper installed on drywall directly, but not their fault.

They did not come out for the service because they don't service my area. They got in touch with me right after I purchased the Big Deal. They were able to provide the resources for a refund.
