Matt was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and reviewed the options and the cost of each. I appreciated that there was no charge for the initial visit which included a chimney/fireplace inspection and presentation of service options/costs.

Matt, the Owner, stayed in touch at each step of both projects (two chimneys), providing estimates prior to initiating work, options, and afterward with photos. Very pleased.

He actually identified a safety issue with my fireplace that could cause a fire. It is a zero tolerance unit with rust chips that could mean pin holes near a wooden frame. I will need to replace the entire unit so maybe next year I will switch over to gas. Until then I cannot use it.

They were professional and responsive. The estimate was thorough and accurate and the work was scheduled and done quickly and cleanly.

Honest. Told them previous cleaner said I would need to repoint bricks for like 500 bucks last year. Cozy Hearth said maybe 1 or 2 and would take 10 minutes, but not really needed. They could have lied and taken the job, but Cozy Hearth cleaned the chimney and was done.
