Description of Work: I used Good Plumbing & Heating to replace an exisitng heating system in an apartment building. The exisitng boiler was removed and (6) new gas-fired condensing boilers were installed. Good did an outstanding job in maintaining domestic hot water throughout the project. The work was completed on schedule and I couldn't have been happier with the work and the results. I highly recommend Good Plumbing & Heating for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing work.

 + -1 moreIn order to keep the price as low as possible, I removed the old A/C unit entirely. The two men from Good arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled time. They did a good job and finished in five hours. It seems that all these companies can charge high labor rates in the $75.00 per hour range.
Description of Work: Good installed a Carrier 16 SEER Central A/C system in my home. This replaced a 15 year old unit that needed about $1000.00 in repairs. I got quotes from another company, but I felt more comfortable dealing with Keith at Good.

Installers were friendly and knowledgeable. Estimater thoroughly answered our questions and included our suggestions in the plan. We are completely pleased and satisfied with central air, the estimater, and the installers.
Description of Work: Installed compressor, cooling unit, air filter, and ductwork for a 1056 sq. ft. rancher--two ton.

 + 0 moreAll of the installations above were done in a short period of time (under 2 hours each job). There were no problems with the work and everything installed has worked fine. We have used them 3 times since March 2010.
Description of Work: Installed outdoor faucets (2) for hoses. Previously this company installed a sink and two new indoor faucets and replaced our old water heater. All the work done was of high quality, professional, and done in a timely manner. We plan to use Good for all of our plumbing needs in the future. Their prices seem reasonable, especially because of the quality of parts used, and the knowledge of the plumbers.

 + -1 moreI had them come out to give me an estimate for the work, and then scheduled the work. I have used this company before and have always been pleased. The plumber was punctual, and very pleasant. He did a great job, cleaned up, and also answered any questions I had.

 + -1 moreHe actually went above and beyond. He looked up the name and number of the manufacturer of the sump pump and I called the manufacturer and they sent me a new one for no charge! If he hadn't done that, I would've had to buy a new one! Abe is just a gem and this company is wonderful! They are very honest! They couldn't be any nicer! Abe is coming back next week to perform other plumbing service. I wouldn't' use anyone else, I'm so grateful to find someone who knows what they are doing.
Description of Work: Abe came out to fix my sump pump. The previous plumber (a referral from a friend) rigged it so it was pumping water back into my basement. Abe found that the sump pump was defective and rigged it until I could get a new one from the manufacturer.

 + -1 moreJust moved into my new house and less than a week later I had a plumbing emergency. Initially, I made a big mistake of calling a well know national plumbing company. That company came out, took my toilet off and gave me a outlandish estimate, which involved tearing a hole in my ceiling. I sent them packing! Someone referred me to Good Plumbing. Abe came out the same day I called and finished up the next day. By the way, they didn't need to go into my ceiling after all.
Description of Work: Toilet rocking and not secured to floor. Water began leaking from bottom of toilet. Flange was too short and needed to be raised to meet with the toilet. Found out there was also a crack in pipe. Slid a sleeve down pipe. Raised flange to proper height and secured toilet to floor. Also declogged and flushed out vent stack. Came out the same day I called and finished up the next day. Price was great. I would definitely use them again!
