I had a leak in my roof. EDS came out and installed a temporary patch and were going to provide a permanent fix. It took months of me hassling them for them to even quote me a price. Meanwhile the temporary patch failed. They also messed things up with my insurance company so I'm paying out of pocket.

They were really great. Prompt, responsive, and walked us completely through the process. Excellent service. Would definitely use them again under similar circumstances.
Description of Work: EDS provided restoration services after our new dishwasher leaked.The kitchen floor was ruined as well as some portions of the ceiling and walls in the basement.

Tom came out, worked with my wife and Erie insurance agent and proceeded to lay out a plan of attack to complete all necessary repairs. They did a great quality job. I should know quality, as I work at Marshall Home Comfort in Skippack, Pa. as a quality assurance expert in the trade of HVAC and Plumbing. The EDS staff handled all aspects from start to finish and made it as easy as any insurance agent lets it be.
Description of Work: EDS responded to our home, because of a tree falling in our home in Hurricane Sandy. What a great job Tom and the crew did for us. Tom worked with my wife, and our insurance agaent. Tom and his crew did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them to any homeowner who is faced with some type of emergency service need.

We lost our home to fire in November, 2012. On the recommendation of a fire marshall we had hired another salvage company to assist us in recovering possessions and emptying our home. The experience was horrific and we fired them after one day. We took time to research and get estimates prior to hiring EDS. They were extremely sensitive to the situation, detail oriented, polite, thorough and they worked VERY HARD. They also charged about 40% less than the previous company. They arrived when they said they would. They were equipped properly. They showed respect for the situation. They did everything they promised and more. We would use EDS again in a heartbeat. Professionals on every level.
Description of Work: Removal and documentation of personal property from a home destroyed by fire. Sensitive sorting and sifting through personal items that were heavily damage. Emptying of the house in preparation for demolition. Cleaning of exterior property such as removal of debris and glass in lawn.
