He did a tiny bit to my very small commercial building and what he did is falling apart and now he is trying to rip me off for 90,000.00 stay away from his company

I utilized the Keystone Help program where the state assists me funding energy efficient loans. I replaced windows and sliders as well as improved the sealing in my attic. Chestnut Creek not only did a fantastic job quality wise but also were experts dealing with this type of financing. They also gave us priority and squeezed us in their tight schedule. We chose Chestnut Creek from a list of approved contractors given by the Energy Works program when we were making energy improvements to the envelope of our home. I have suffered from chemical sensitivity in the past and did not want to use spray foam throughout the house, since the out-gassing of chemicals from that was of real concern to me. I appreciated the thoughtful approach to bidding taken by Jim Held, the company owner. Our job required demolition in two stages of most of our home's rooms while we lived in it. Chestnut Creek was understanding of the issues raised for us by this process and gave us plenty of time to move everything from one end of the house to the other so that they could work on the emptied spaces. They also worked with us as much as they could on our needs around the Christmas holiday, which fell in the middle of the job. I appreciated the emails from Theresa, Jim's wife and office manager, about the schedule and when to expect various subcontractors. I also appreciated their expedition of our job when it became clear that a funding deadline needed to be met. The work done was high quality, and the result was approved by the Energy Works program as well as by us. We're very happy with the cosmetic changes they made as well, and I found Jim easy to work with, if somewhat inaccessible due to the demands of his business.

Chestnut Creek Construction was great to work with from the start of the project to the finish. They arrived for the initial consultation on time, removed their shoes before entering the house (inclement weather), and took plenty of time to answer all of my questions. The proposal they provided was extremely detailed and painted a very clear and concise scope of the work they would be completing. We had a hard time getting this from any of the other service providers we contacted. Jim Held, owner, was very accommodating in finding a start and finish date that worked for my family. Once the job started, the crew arrived on time, was very professional, and did quality work. Jim, stopped by several times to see if we had questions and to check on the progress of the work. I would highly recommend them for any of your home renovation or construction needs.
