We are first time home buyers, so we were a little unsure what to expect, but Luke made the process extremely easy. When we met him, we talked about what our concerns were and what to expect from him. He then proceeded to walk the perimeter of the home three times and would come talk to us about anything he found after each sweep. He went into the crawl space twice and reported back to us on that both times. He also went on to the roof instead of just looking at it from the ladder, which I was happy about. Finally, he did a thorough sweep of the interior of the home. At the end of the visit he sat down with us and gave us a summary of everything he found and what his suggestions would be. He was extremely detailed and took his job seriously. He is there for the home buyer and wants to be sure you know what you are getting with your purchase. On top of being a hard worker, he is very friendly and is extremely easy to work with. Without hesitation, I would recommend Liberty Inspections and Lucas Emeigh to anyone needing a home inspection done. Update: I am a little saddened to say that the bank requested more information regarding the roof for closing. I had contacted Katie at Liberty inspection twice and was never contacted back. Luckily, I was able to resolve the matter without their help. I hope this was a mistake and that they would typically call someone back even after they had been paid, but it is something I think consumers should be aware of. I do not think this reflects on Lucas as an inspector, however, and would still recommend him with the highest enthusiasm.

Luke, the inspector, met us at the property at the scheduled time and gave us a brief overview of the inspection process and asked if we had any specific concerns we wanted him to check and then asked us to use the bathrooms, kitchen facilities, etc. as if we were living in the home. While we were going through the various rooms, Luke setup the radon testing equipment in the basement. We had numerous discussions during the inspection and Luke was very responsive and very professional in his actions.town

Lucas Emeigh, the inspector, was a great help. This is our first house, so we had a ton of questions and Lucas was quite patient and knowledgeable. He is really thorough in his search for potential issues and isn't afraid of accessing difficult spots in and out of the home. His documentation was excellent. He took many pictures and wrote specifics about the house rather than just generic entries. Overall, Lucas is highly motivated and will serve your interests well.
