+ 1 moreVery professional and responsive service. The owner is actually the person who sells the job and performs the service. I never had any issues with him getting back to me to answer questions or schedule the work. We had an issue with the water heater water temperature fluctuating but Steve was on top of getting it solved from the start. He did not give up and never tried to push it off. I am very happy with the quality of work and especially the professional manner in which he conducts his business.

Description of Work: We called Solebury Plumbing after getting no estimate from a different company. (The other company came to look at the job, and never followed up.) After a phone conversation describing the work (repairing a hose bib, cutting down and capping various pipes in the rear yard), they came to look at the job and completed the work the same day. We will start with them next time we need plumbing work.

+ -1 moreI've used Steve Borrows for many jobs over the past five years, most recently today. He is the most professional plumber I have ever dealt with and recommend him without qualification. HIs price is a bit higher than some others, but there is no one else I would trust in my house.

+ -1 morePerfect. Because of the new drain construction, the drain could not be lifted out to clean (dumb) and there is a small plastic basket just under the drain that clogs up quickly. Steve took the drain apart and adjusted it so it is easily cleaned and won't clog. He helped me with the house water filter and discussed an automatic system in addition to some other small jobs. We have used Solebury Plumbing for 8 years now and highly recommend them. Very responsive, very knowledgable, very pleasant, and very professional.
Description of Work: Unblocked bathroom sink and discussed some future work on a house water filter system.

+ -1 moreEverything went great. It was easy to schedule things for an initial visit (estimate) and service visit. Steve provided an estimate, and was also onsite for the service visit. Everything was explained clearly, and the team who did the work was professional. All work areas were cleaned up thoroughly.
Description of Work: We had a natural gas line run from our existing service (in basement), to our patio, so we could hook up to a new grill. In addition, we had some old plumbing that ran out to a service tub in our garage (also from basement) replaced to address a slow leak and damaged drain pipe.

Description of Work: Steve knows plumbing, like Bo Jackson knows Football. Steve knows how to treat his customers and knows how to properly run a small business. We purchased a house earlier this year and started a number of big projects. There were various unknown problems with our plumbing too. The interior architect /decorator we hired, started on renovations and subcontracted with another plumber. That plumber sent his son, who for reasons that aren't important here, made things worse, while also charging quite a bit, without fixing much of anything. Then we called Steve, who we had used at our old house years earlier on a random call. I am glad we did. Not only did Steve resolve the concern, he did so quickly, cheaply and showed me what failed and why. He explained what the other plumber missed but in the most appropriate and professional way. He spoke properly in front of my children and wife. I trust, respect and like Steve and that's why we keep calling him when needed. My experience is not limited to just the one call either. Two weeks ago, our garbage disposal stopped working when cleaning up from Thanksgiving dinner. Steve came out on Black Friday just an hour after I called (at 7:00am, he answered the phone!). Instead of selling a new disposal, he disassembled the unit while my family and I ate breakfast and found a screw that had lodged in the blades, stopping the motor from turning. Again, Steve to the rescue and again it was affordable. So far, Steve has repaired our hot water problem, replaced an under performing water softener, repaired our garbage disposal and just this week, December 10, came to our house immediately when a sump pump failed in the basement. Within hours of the call, 8 inches of standing water was pumped out, the sump replaced and Steve even removed a very heavy waterlogged rug that he guessed we'd need to throw out due to damage! Seriously, who does this anymore? Steve does. My only regret in writing this is in having to tell the rest of the world how great he is and have to share him. You will not be disappointed if you call Solebury Plumbing and Heating.

+ -1 morePerfectly. Because of our well water our toilet tank gaskets keep falling apart and I can't fix it myself. Steve has offered to teach me to do it since it is such a small job, but I want it done right.
Description of Work: We have called Steve many times over the last 6 years for small plumbing jobs and he has always responded immediately and solved the problem quickly. I am guessing at the approximate date and cost of the last job. He has done work in all our bathrooms and is fast, neat, and very pleasant.
