FREY TREE SPECIALIST

Usually don't leave bad reviews, but paid $15,000 to remove a tree and he broke our steps, stone wall, our fence, also town fence, and yard destroyedwith holes in ground. then says he didn't do any if it and leaves it for us to find. I understand people make mistakes and things happen just own up to it. we would of been happy if he just fixed our steps and cleaned up the rest, as our 3 yr old can now no long go up and down step till fixed and has to go way around to get up and down to house now. the rest we brought up just because he did ruin it all and doesn't want to own up to his mistakes. also told us he would remove vines from wall and what a joke of a job that was he did. says he didn't do any of this yet only parts of stuff broken is under tree where he was working everything else is good, weird how that is...... it was a big tree in a bad spot and knew it would be a job to remove just figured at that price would of taken more care to our 1800s house/property

They were great to work with - and really know trees. Of the people I've contacted in the area, they understood the issues about the trees best. We had a large tree that needed to be trimmed and cabled plus two smaller trees that needed to be re-weighted and cabled to avoid splitting risks. They did an excellent job. They are more expensive than some other pruning companies and there is sometimes a long waiting list to get pruning done, but I wouldn't trust anyone else with trees this large and complicated. They are worth the wait and the cost.

Called them and they arrived on site to provide estimate quickly. Have used them in the past as well. We had a tree that had fallen due to high winds. While there, the owner pointed out other concerns trees that needed to be removed for various reasons; decay, dead, threat to house if high winds caused it to fall... I believe what he pointed out to be valid concerns, but at the same time, didn't really appreciate the fear that he tried to create to get me to agree to the work. Tried to say he was giving a great deal, yadda, yadda...I knew I was being "sold" but I went ahead with all of it anyway. The nice thing is that it is a team, and they are fast and have all of the devices to cut and remove everything quickly. That said, I have since had more tree work done, by another professional, insured outlet based in WV and they were less than half what Frey charges. So, the work is good, but do not agree to the work right away. Call at least one more tree removal outlet - you may save a thousand dollars or more. No kidding. And in our doing so, the work was of the same quality - trees cut down without any injury to anything or anyone, and the mess taken care of - what more do you really want or need on this front?!
