Quick response and good quality work, but a little pricy...

Excellent service maintenance program provided by Marshall Services.

Started Sept 5th installing a hot water heater. November 27 they finished. Every expensive recommendation that they made that will correct problem, did not. Next 3 suggestions for new hardware that did not work either also. Missed appointment, mislead about solutions. a terrible experience with Marshall

Well done, clean, personable

Had them come to fix a tiny leak in a home I was going to purchase and they caused and even larger one. They tried making me pay $129 to fix the leak because I noticed it on a weekend so I had no choice but to just put buckets under the leak (caught 12-15 gallons in just 2 days and did not notice the leak until I moved in 4 days after they fixed the initial leak so who knows how much deeper into the ground). I asked them to clean the remnants of the leak because my new home reeked of oil. They just came and threw powder on the ground and sprayed air freshener. When they came to clean the powder I told them it still smelled so someone came a second time and did the same thing, but removed some of the dirt the oil deeper into between the floor and wall (did not remove all and did not replace the removed dirt). It still smells, so called again and they refuse to properly clean. I had an environmental specialist come and they said the VOCs in the dirt surrounding the spill are higher than the recommended level to live in. Marshall now ignores my calls so I have no other choice than to involve the EPA.

They were polite, and friendly. They installed an all new heating and airconditioning system, ran ductwork for our basement and installed a new hot water heater. They were here for 2 days, and they did a great job. We will be calling them to look at some electrical work we need fixed.

Tech gave extra effort and time to solve unexpected problems. Overall cost was lower than other bids.

Great people to work with. Did a nice job moving my oil tank nd installing a new one. sites were left very clean and they reviewed a secondary issue and delivered a estimate.

They did a great job, the people were very courteous, cleaned up and accomplished. I think in hindsight, a little pricey in my opinion but I tend to be somewhat on the cheap side. With a lot to accomplish at least this one item is off the list.

Was without hot water and within a few hours Marshall's had a trch at pur home. Josh was very respectful to us and our home and knowledgeable in his field of repair. Will have zero hesitation calling Marshall's in the future.

What a friendly polite company. From the moment I spoke to Donna and Amy on the phone to schedule my consultation I felt confident that I wanted to do business with Marshall Services. Steve C. was respectful, prompt and knowledgeable. I entertained other offers after the initial consultation but phoned back for Marshall Services because of the professionalism displayed and honesty. I will hire them again.

The customer service is lovely and I'm confident on their technical capabilities, but the rate just doesn' t add up. $1,850 for a 2 hour installation of a $375 water heater is simply unreasonable. It' s a free country and I wouldn't be bothered that the ask for what they ask, if not for the fact that they wouldn't give me a quote or price range before coming out. It leads me to presume that they know that people don' t want to waste another day without hot water, and that's kind of preying on people' s situation, and that's not cool. I know, they are not the only ones, lots of people work that way. They seem to have preestablished package prices for the jobs and could have easily told me that, or, at least, a range. We would have avoided the wasted time and the $29 service fee. After the technician left (nice guy, by the way), I ran to Home Depot, called their installation services and, after 5 questions I had a quote and a same-day appointment with an installation package of $850. I know that HD beats down their contractors, and I donâ t like that, thatâ s why I tried them first. I get it that they have 40 years of experience. I just canâ t justify $1,000 gap. A Water Heater replacement is really not rocket surgery and worth a labor rate of $700/h. All I mean by this review is that I wish they were upfront with the pricing because these are not market rates.
