Description of Work: Recovered files on broken computer.

Description of Work: This provider was here the week before to clean up and install programs, set up new smart phones, reconfigure the backup drive, and update two laptops. He was here for about three hours and had to recopy numerous files to the desktop computer's hard drive so that they could be edited for duplication before shutting the computer down to engage the backup drive copy. The copy process took so long (I have thousands of photos)that he had to leave. He told me that I could edit the files myself and then restart the computer. I decided that I wanted him to come back so that I wouldn't delete something that I wanted to keep, or remove necessary operating files inadvertently. The first visit was $222 and the second visit (one hour) was $79. | |But the price per hour was less than I pay for automobile service. And he did come to the house so that I did not have to disconnect the tower and take it to him. And he also discovered that the backup drive had never been set up properly when it was installed. | |I would also note that for the previous year I had subscribed to a monthly $25 remote "cleanup" service that frequently necessitated call-backs for problems. Description of Work: My computer was not working right plus it would not send info to printer...it was a mess. He cleaned everything up, installed all my updates ( which took overnight ) I haven't had a problem since.
