Description of Work: I inquired about the cost of building a home and the owner of the company was very well informed, professional, friendly and patient with my questions. He sent me a catalog with his business card stapled to the front of it and I get periodic emails from the company. I would definitely consider this company if we decide to build our home.

+ -1 moreTri-County Homes was nice as far as the process is going forward. But when it came to the figures or the amount of time and the different parties involved, I decided not to go with them. They gave me a base figure of what they would do. Then, I would have to figure on my own for the excavators.

+ -1 moreThis is the 2nd house that myself and my wife had built. The First Home was a and quot;Stick Built Homeand quot; that we built through a different contractor back in 1976. In my opinion, I would definitely say that and quot;Modular is the way to go!and quot;
Description of Work: We built a Custom Modular Home 68 ft. Wide X 32 ft. Deep, 2 & ½ story home with a 9 ft. Pre-cast Basement Wall. Our House is located along the Allegheny River in PA. We toured several Modular Factories and visited almost the same amount of "Stick Builders" before deciding to use Tri-County Homes to build our new home. This house replaced a smaller 2 Story Farm House that was built in the late 1800's that was simply too old and too costly to save. I demolished and burnt the Old House with the help of some family members. From there on, Tri-County Homes handled the rest, "Turn Key" just as they promised. We designed our own "blue prints" that was basically an Expanded Version of the Old House that we tore down. We took those prints to Tri-County Homes, where they customized those plans to fit our needs. Due to a very rainy season they worked through and endured a very muddy build. We had a few delays, but in the end it was very much worth the wait.
