We purchased the house about a year and a half ago and had to repair the garage door system- unsure how old it was, but it was pretty old, it didn't even have safety cables on the springs! Now, it works perfectly and is much quieter than before. Mike, one of the owners, was awesome. He came out a couple of times to do the estimate and complete the work, which required three trips- once to work on the spings and cables, once to install the weather-stripping, and once to install some wood along the base of the garage door to get the weather-stripping to go all the way down to the ground. As I said, it was a very old garage door system. For the estimate, Mike walked us through everything, explaining exactly what was needed and why. He was on time, called when he was on the way, and a very nice gentleman. He even offered to set up the transmitter in my car to open the garage door for me. Heather, the office manager, always returned calls promptly and helped us schedule the work. We will definitely call them when we are ready to replace the garage door.

We needed to replace a 33 year old garage door system. All parts were failing, including the door and door opener unit. We shopped around this area at several businesses and settled on Cumberland Garage Doors. They went out of their way to explain what is available and show us different products. When we decided what we wanted, they offered different payment plans. We ordered in mid-winter and they installed in mid-winter ALL without any glitches. We are so very happy with what we have there now compared to the old door. Everyone tells us how 'pretty or nice or fancy' that door looks on our home. My wife even added some magnetic winter birds to accent this already beautiful door. We comment often just how much difference simply changing that door system made on the house. We certainly would refer anyone to this business at anytime. Thank you

This summer, we noticed at the the aluminum siding used to wrap the garage door frame was warping along with the vinyl weather stripping. We contacted Cumberland Garage Doors and requested someone stop by and take a 'look' at it as we did not know if that was normal. A few days later, the owner came out and personally assessed the situation. He was not happy to see the condition and stated he would replace both door frames and weather stripping. Several days later, the owner arrived and personally replaced the door frames with upgraded materials. Prices are reasonable for the area. Customer service after the purchase is exemplary.

They came that same day for a service call, and we ordered a new door. It came when they said it would, and was installed promptly. Overall we were very pleased with their work and their prices.

I was pleased with their immediate response each time we needed them. They came by both times to open the door and then made timely repairs. They were friendly and knowledgeable. Their work was high quality. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it.
