.We were told by Ron the owner that the job would take 6-8 weeks to complete. The job started in October, Columbus day I think. The work was progressing well and the men doing the work did a great job cleaning up every night. The progress was slower than expected, but I was satisfied with the quality. Things started going bad when in April Good Friday to be exact( 6 month after starting), the workers left and said they would be back on Monday. I had no reason to think that it would be the last time I saw them! They left a number of expensive tools. Table saw, Mitre saw, air compressor and air guns as well as some small hand tools and a shop vac. When they didn't return, I called Ron and the chain of excuses started. he promised they would be back, then it was a problem getting the carpet we selected, then he and the carpet guy had a falling out and the carpet guy wouldn't release the carpet. At one point he told me he would stop in but when he didn't, I called the office and the secretary told me he went on vacation to Florida! He then made excuses of health problems and on and on. The job was about 85% done when the workers left. I just wanted the job finished. The workers were actually Ron's brothers and I have nothing but good things to say about them. They did good work and were always friendly and concerned for our home. I found out that they were in a fight with Ron about going back to finish the job, but Ron put them on another job. To this day I have not figured out why they didn't finish. Ron was always at the house for a check when it was due and we paid him as per contract. In June (9 month afer the job started) I finally hired my own carpet installer and finished the remainder of the work myself. It was the strangest most aggravating thing I have ever been through. I believe that Ron took on more work than he could handle and was losing business because he couldn't get to the jobs in time so he cut and ran from my job after getting 90% of the money. Something is very wrong with this companies management.

I have a record of emails telling me when they will start the work, and they have never started any work. The only time they came out to my house was to do an estimate. I signed the contract on September 1, 2011. He said he would "do the work when he could". On March 22 we contacted him as "new" customers, then explained to him that he was contracted to do work for us already, he said he would do it within two to three weeks. We haven't heard anything from him since. We already sent him $3000 for the work, and expect the work to be completed!
