 + 1 moreThe construction went very well, on budget and on time. There was minimal disruption and the site was kept free from construction debris. Frank and his team have high work ethics and are well trained in all aspects of construction. There was minimal waste of materials. The new rooms have exceeded our expectations and we are extremely happy with the end results. Frank Spess is knowledgable, conscientious and very easy to work with. We would highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Constructed a new bedroom addition on the side of the house over a 6 foot basement space. They also ccnstructed a new bathroom in an existing room adjacent to the new bedroom. They also reshingled the entire roof. Frank Spess's construction knowledge resulted in the addition looking like part of the original house.

 + 4 moreAll went as planned from the beginning and I'm verysatisfied. The best thing to me was that all was done to satisfaction and a very fare price. I've refereed Frank since then to several people and they as well mentioned he was the one to call. I wish I could say the same thing about other contractors in the past.

 + -1 moreI brought in Spess Construction last January 2012, to repair my roof which was replaced entirely back in 2000. The section of the roof had to removed entirely, new sheathing, roofing material and the roof was reinforced as well by Spess Construction. I would recommend Spess Construction again, they are truly professional and provided a good quality product at a honest price. They cleaned up daily and did not leave any materials laying around when the project was completed. A plus job at a fair price!
Description of Work: Repaired a roof that was replaced by another contractor 12 years ago.

 + -1 moreI provided a description on the work and was promised a call back same day or next day max. Rec'd radio silence from provider. If job was too small - at least have the courtesy to return the call and decline vs keeping a potential customer waiting.
Description of Work: Contacted Frank Spess / Spess Construction for a small (1-2 days labor) roofing job (retightening metal roof panels, recaulk plumbing vents).

 + -1 moreWhen this job was completed after 3 day's, you would not even be able to tell that there was major work being completed on the roof or around the grounds. All debris were removed and cleaned up and when the job was completed, the new section of roof matched the existing section of the roof perfectly. I would bring in Frank Spess Construction in the future with out a doubt. This was the first time that I used a contractor, that I actually felt good about the quality of the work performed A Plus Job!
Description of Work: I called three Contractors from Angie's List to get prices on a roof repair. Spess Construction called me back the same day, made an appointment to see the work and showed up on the day and time he said he would be over to look at the job. He got back to me in a day or so with the price. Frank the owner of Spess Construction along with a helper, started on Wednesday April 4, 2012 to make roof repair's on a roof that was re-roofed back in 2000. A quarter of the roof had to be replaced because of poor workmanship from the work performed back in 2000. The original price quoted was 1874.00, but due to the extra sheeting and repair work from the previous contractor that had to be repaired an extra 1380.00 was added to the original proposal. I felt that Frank Spess was honest, very professional and knowledgeable about how the repair had to be made to prevent future leaks and water damage from re-occurring.

 + -1 moreI gave him the job right away because of the written estimate. The job has not started yet, but it will very shortly. He is going to repair a section of my roof that was done by another contractor who did not do a good job. I'm waiting for a date that he is going to start the job.
Description of Work: He came out and gave me an estimate. Out of three, two companies responded but he was the only one that came back with a written estimate.

Description of Work: We have Spess construction doing the roofs on our old house and some replacement windows.... This is a hard working honest man doing a great job... him and his crew are professional nice and they are organized and know what they are doing... they ar e not finished yet but I am already confident that they will do a great job and I will have them back for ANY help we may need in the future... we went with the right guy for us!!!!!!!!!!  + 1 moreMost recently, Frank fixed my porch and roof that were damanged from snow. About 8 years ago, he completely remodeled my kitchen. All of his workers he brings are wonderful, very nice. One time when he was at my house working on a project, a flower box had come off my house and broke, which he replaced and replanted the flowers for me. He is a very nice person. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: I have used him several times over the last decade.
