Tom came to give me a quote. He gave me a reasonable quote and said he could fix it today! He said rain is coming so it's best to fix the roof asap. I can't tell you how relieved I was when he said he could fix it today. He ran to get the supplies he needed and fixed two trouble spots on my roof! He even said he'd come back to patch an unrelated hole in the side of my roof tomorrow. He has a 5 year guarantee and told me that if my roof leaked again, he'd come back and fix it for free. He was such a nice, honest, and knowledgeable guy! I can't be more happy with him and his work!

I had to get a sizable patch, as I am thinking of doing renovation and adding some square footage to my house, and did not want to do an entire roof at this time, until I do the addition, and then I will do a new roof. For now, this gives me about 5 years to plan the renovation and it was cost effective. The team came, quoted the work to be performed and did a great job. Would recommend as they have thirty years of knowing how to get things done properly and they cleaned up all trash. Thank you!

I hired Mr. Gorman for a deck repair, sealing and painting. He was prompt to schedule the estimate and start working. I asked him to replace some rotten pieces of wood from the deck, including the deck railing, seal and paint the wooden deck. He did the job on May 2024. Took several text messages reminding him to pick up his equipment and the wood he removed from my deck. He came 3 weeks later, picked up his equipment, but left the wood. I contacted him on 6/29/24 to let him know the wood he used is warped and separating from the deck structure. Sent him pictures and asked him to please come back. He cancelled the mutually agreed Saturday morning appt and was a no show/no call to the following Monday 430 pm appt. I paid the amount he asked for, without any question and now he is not responding to the 5 year warranty on work and materials he advertised. I am surprised of all the good reviews, but that was not my experience. If you have a project in mind, please consider other contractors!

Showed up immediately to discuss issue and provide a very reasonable estimate. I had a previous roofer there a few months ago to check as I had a couple slate panels that broke. Saw a few more panels that fell and had T Gorman check, he found additional issues the previous crew didn't. Provided good estimate and offered to do the work same day, which was completed. Great experience, will be using T Gorman for future roofing projects.

We had a water leak in our 15 year old metal roof. The contractor arrived very quickly, found the problem and resealed the flashing around all the roof openings, all in the same day.

Was friendly but we are still having problems with the Roof, he did come out once and fix ( a shingle) and then we had rain again and it still leaked , now he said it was good for 5 years, well if its still leaking the sealant wasnt the problem and he needs to find it for the money we paid , We have texted him with no response we give him ample time to respond . So now we either want him to get out here or we want a refund . We hired him through this page hoping it would be a trusted vetted person .. but after the first encounter it has been nothing but cat and mouse to get this roof fixed for the amount of money we paid .

On time, pleasant, work done in a timely manner and the cost was fair. Tom also gave me a 3 year warranty on his work. Because I was so pleased, I will be using him again in early fall for a painting job. I recommend Tom to anyone needing quality work done in an efficient manner.

I hired Tom to fix my leaking roof on my large shed. He recommended to waterproof the existing asphalt shingles to extend the life of them , possibly by 10 years. He fixed some leaks inside the shed as well, picked up all the necessary materials and completed the work in one day as well as 2 boots(rubber like protection on my house roof for the stacks(pipes) coming up for venting ( I assume?)that were completely gone, ( keeps moisture out of my attic). Tom is very pleasant, went right to work & completed all work in one day with his son. Happy it's finally done, as it was worrying me with the rain we've had. I would highly recommend him.

Fast and reliable

We hired Mr. Gorman initially for Deck repair, power washing, deck stain, side vinyl work, and gate installation. While he was completing the jobs we had listed above we had also asked for additional work to be done on our lattice as well as our garage floor. While he did replace the boards on the deck that needed repair, some were not properly screwed and were still loose after he left. We did not realize any of this initially. He then pressure-washed the lower deck by our pool and stained it. After the job was completed we had no idea all of the paint chips from our deck and his power washing went directly into the pool. Our pool robot has been filled with paint chips since he left and we are now having issues with cleaning that up. While painting the deck, he never masked anything so everything around the deck was sprayed the paint color which included our Japanese Maple Tree and flowers. When he constructed the gates, the screws were too big and the sharp ends were exposed. When it came to the lattice he choose the plastic one instead of asking what we preferred. Once he brought it to our house we informed him we did not like it and we were unhappy with his purchase We informed him we would prefer the wooden one instead. While he had put the lattice up the job seemed rushed as it fell a few days after he left due to there not being any nails in the lattice. During this whole process, we had a dumpster here for our personal use so that we could clean out our basement. It was never intended for deck cleanup or anything that had to do with the jobs being done by Tom. He initially asked to throw out a few boards and we approved. On his last day here, he threw out all of the old lattice, wood, his tools that broke we could not even finish throwing out our items from our basement because of this. He never even asked permission to do it again. Instead, he piled up our dumpster to the top and had wood everywhere. Our yard was left a mess with broken wood and old nails exposed which is a huge issue when you have children and animals. It is just coming courtesy to clean up after yourself. After he had finished completing the job and left we noticed a few things. We contacted him about our concerns such as the lattice falling off, as well as the stairs and the deck being loose and not secure. He informed us he would be by in a few days. He came over today without notifying anyone and while he was here our security system overheard him talking badly about us. He nailed the lattice and it ended up splitting and half of it is still not secure . He failed to do the other things I addressed via text. Overall, there was little attention to detail when it came to painting, fixing the deck steps, putting together the gates as well as proper disposal of work items/materials. When meeting him he seemed as if he would do whatever we wanted to satisfy us. Towards the end, it seemed to us that he wanted to get the job done and get his money! To pay almost 14,000 and still have all these issues is just not acceptable. We are not happy with this experience.
