John was great. I had tried to repair the toilet myself and was not successful. He responded quickly to my call and worked with me to find a time that would fit my schedule. He was prompt, efficient, pleasant, professional and did a great job. I will definitely call him again.

We needed to get a leaky faucet repaired. John surveyed the situation, showed us the larger problem and did the job. We asked him about another problem with our toilet and he studied the situation and made a minor tweak that resolved it. He is an excellent plumber and trustworthy. Can't ask for more than that.

Our water heater went out overnight and we called John Warburton at Kangaroo Plumbing first thing in the morning. He returned our call promptly, squeezed us in that day, came when he said he would, and fixed the water heater in a jiffy. John was professional, courteous, and very knowledgable.

We cannot praise John enough. He is the best plumber you will ever find. He took the time to evaluate what we wanted which was to basically refresh the remaining plumbing that we had not already done in our home built in 1948. His cost proposals were concise and fair. He worked with us to schedule the time which took two days to complete. He helped us pick out via phone and email the types of fixtures we wanted. (We paid for the new toilet, cabinet, vanity and faucets [except one] separately ourselves. All other plumbing piping and fittings were included in the price mentioned.) He was neat, clean and thorough in every way, even to the point of covering all areas of the bedroom connected to the ensuite bathroom so that no work debris would intrude.

The service was excellent. I called John in the morning and was delighted that he could come out after lunch. He arrived around 45 minutes after he had said, but had called and left a message to let me know he was running a bit late. John was very professional and clean. I had originally asked him to just fix the drip we had with our kitchen faucet. However, he was unable to remove one of the handles without drilling it out. After some discussion, we decided to just replace the faucet with a new one. His price of $250 for the faucet with installation was extremely reasonable. Overall, I found that the prices he charged to be really good. We will finitely use John for future plumbing issues.

John was on time and he did an excellent work. He worked straight through and did it in one day. Will pleases if need more work done, will call Kangaroo to do it.

We think we paid them too much. They did great work and were very nice. We liked them but are very expensive. We liked them because they were very accommodating. We needed them on an emergency basis and they came over. We were going to have to shut off the water to the tenant if they didn’t come. They came so we were able to avert that problem; we were happy about that. They called us if they couldn’t have come. We might not use them because of the price.

Everything was great! I'm big on first impressions and ours was over the phone when I called to ask about water filters. John was completely engaged and very helpful. He answered all my questions and gave me some great advice. I then asked him if he could come over to check out some of the issues listed above. He arrived and first looked at the water filter which he did not have to do because there was nothing in it for him...he was happy to help and answer questions I had. He then found the reason for the leak (crack in pipe) and fixed it that day and even added a little extra to the pipe where the garage door spring was rubbing it and thinning it out...not necessary but it was above and beyond in my book! He even gave me the names and numbers of a garage door "guy" and a plaster "guy" both of which I will need to call for some work. He assured me my noisy toilets were just fine and might just need replaced soon and told me what to look for when there is a problem. He snaked the bathroom sink which had lots of gunk and all the jobs were done! I was more than happy with his delightful personality , professionalism and his above and beyond work ethic. Honestly there is too much to list here that I thought just made it a stellar experience. I hope we don't have many plumbing needs in the future, but I have peace of mind knowing John will take care of them for us.

John's work, first and foremost, is always very well done - if you want results that arewell considered, he is logical and will give options that will suit your needs; lay outconsiderations concerning the long and short term implications of your needs, andoffer clean paperwork. This has been my experience. Mainly he is a very good plumberwho solves problems. My experiences have all been very positive and his skills are broad... which makes plumbing work comfortable.... not harrowing.

We called Kangaroo Plumbing and John came over at about 5p on Friday evening. He fixed the vents and the tenants did not suffer any interruption in hot water. He also fixed a water leak and reset garbage disposal. He is a good trouble shooter and does quality work. He's not the cheapest plumber out there, but we were satisfied with the work and would use his services again.

The plumber we used before for several jobs did not answer calls (we learned later he had passed away), so we call Kangaroo Plumbing based on Angie's' List. We had a rapidly leaking faucet on a laundry sink and called Friday morning. He arrived later that morning looked at it, and repaired it efficiently. Very professional and extremely punctual. The faucet still works. I am not sure how to rate the price, given that we have not hired a plumber recently, but it seemed very fair for the speed and quality of work, 1/2 hour plus travel to jobsite. He also made suggestions about other plumbing scopes of work we should consider (regarding the condition of the sink and associated piping), which was appreciated. He gave us a contact for that, as it would be an extensive job with concrete work and venting and drain and he does more repair work rather than full system replacement like that. Only disappointment was to find that we cannot use him for this type of large job as we did enjoy working with him and he handled our emergency leak smoothly.

He has done a number of things for me. He is very reasonable and we will use his services again in the future and recommend him to others.

He’s an expert. He was good at explaining what needed to be done and gave us some options. He told us what to look out for and any defects to watch for. I strongly recommend him.

The plumber gave me a precise estimate and we scheduled the installation. He arrived on time, performed the work, cleaned up completely afterwards, and left on a pleasant note. He noted that my old seat was a higher quality than the new one I had ordered, so we decided to install that one. I have absolutely no complaints about the work or the plumber!

He was very professional. The whole job took less than 2 hours. He told me what he was going to have to do and showed me the work when he was finished. He cleaned up after the work was complete.

We are repeat clients of John's, in an old house with 1930's plumbing and lots of "hinky" issues. He has always done a great job. Once again, he was efficient and straightforward in his work. We're satisfied with the garbage disposal replacement, and will have him back to fix the shower problem (that will be another report). While John's rates are not the least expensive you could pay, he is certainy among the most professional, honest, skilled and versatile plumbers that we've worked with, especially for all those wierd issues that arise with old houses and plumbing. (He's also a real nice guy). Overall, we feel we get great value. There is tremendous peace of mind in knowing the job will be done correctly the first time around.

You need to be very clear with exactly what you need done. He quoted me $700 to install new faucets at my daughters but he eventually realized she just wanted the faucets changed due to not caring for the style. He charged $120 and it took 10 minutes. Not sure I will hire him again but only due to his price, not his work as he really knows plumbing.

Uh oh. Kitchen sink not draining. Called John Warburton. He arrived at the appointed time and got to work. Turned out that the day before, uncooked rice (lots of it) was run thru the waste grinder. Instead of being flushed down the sewer drain it expanded into a virtual cement-like substance, blocking the line. Two exhausting hours later, John had to surgically remove a section of basement drain pipe to augur out the blockage. Rice balls gushed out of the opening into waiting buckets. He meticulously cleaned up the resulting mess. Henceforth, should the need arise there will be easy access to the kitchen sink waste line from the basement, thanks to John's removable connector. John also connected the dishwasher drain to the disposall so that in case of blockage water wouldn't flood the sink cabinet floor but rather would be channeled into the sink. There are plumbers and then there are those who are truly intuitive master plumbers. John belongs-HANDS DOWN-in the latter category.

John is simply the best plumber I've worked with in Pittsburgh. Very responsive, on time, clean, explains what he's doing and I find his work to be meticulous. I've had John make various small repairs and install a new water heater. I will continue to work with John going forward and have recommended him to friends.

John is simply a gem. He came to my aid when my gas was unexpectedly turned off due to a detected gas leak. Facing the prospect of no heat, no hot water and no stove, I was desperate for immediate help. I called John, left a message and he returned my called within the hour. He promised me he'd be right over as soon as he got his truck back from the garage that was inspecting it. He was reassuring, professional, prompt, trustworthy and a delight to have in the house. He worked for three hours, non-stop, identifying and fixing what turned out to be 3 separate leaks. He helped me get the gas company to come back and turn the gas back on and just 6 hours after my gas had been shut off, it was back on! The man from the gas company was astonished that I had gotten such quick service. I said, "Well, thank you so much." He said, "No. I don't mean us. I mean him," he said pointing down to the basement where John was cleaning up, leaving my basement cleaner than it'd been before he'd come.

There were two leaks underneath the kitchen sink. John fixed them both - he replaced parts that were broken or not working well, fixed the leaks, and did an overall clean-up of the sink's plumbing. It was an unplanned appointment request, and John did a great job at finding a time that worked for both of our schedules. He kept me informed of when he would arrive and was on time. He did a beautiful job fixing the leaks and I am now very happy with a much improved kitchen sink!

I called John in the morning after discovering a leak in a pipe the night before. He answered the phone right away and was very honest about the fact that he had a number of appointments already scheduled that day, but would call me in the afternoon if he had any free time. He also advised me that I might want to call someone else just to be sure I was able to get the repair done that day. We did hire another plumber, but John called me back as promised that afternoon. We appreciated his professionalism.

The work went exceptionally well. John returned my call quickly, arrived when he said he would, did all the work in short order, picked out just the right kitchen faucet for my home and was a pleasure to work with. I've used his service before and will continue to call him first for plumbing problems. I highly recommend him.

He is very good at what he does and is pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable about home projects.
