Description of Work: Kitchen, master bath, hall bath, powder room, built in shelves

Description of Work: Initially we were quite happy with Snyder. They were one of the few contractors who agreed to remodel our three bathrooms using some existing glass tile that we wished to retain, (as opposed to gutting the entire bathrooms.) They arrived on time for the job, sent one guy who did all three baths at once. However, they failed to complete the job in the end. Initailly, it was part of the job that they were to install 3 vents to our baths. (Our home is nearly 100 years old and had never truly been updated so the baths did not have vents.) While they were on the job, they told us the weather had become to bad for them to get up to the roof to do this job and that they would return. Despite trying to contact them several times for follow-up, they failed to ever respond. (we had not paid for this service.) Furthermore, we discovered a year later that they'd installed one sink and one toilet incorrectly, causing us further expense. In hindsight, I wish we would've kept looking and hired someone else!

Description of Work: Installed oak barnsiding on a large atrium ceiling and around skylights.

Description of Work: Remodeled two second floor bathrooms. In smaller bathroom installed porcelain tile, lighting, toilet, and plumbing fixtures. In larger bathroom, installed porcelain tile, removed antique claw tub and built new tub box and tiled it. Installed soaking tub. Removed walk in shower and installed new shower. Installed lighting, plumbing fixtures, toilet, and painted.

Description of Work: Mike and two brothers-in-law completed several projects: (1) Repaired and painted most of the first floor walls and borders, as well as stripped the kitchen door of layers of paint and refinished it; (2) Put in a new kitchen wood floor, installed new kitchen cabinets, prepared to have counters installed, did plumbing and electrical work to match the redesign of the kitchen; (3) rebuilt frames and installed four new windows (4) repaired old cabinets and installed them in another room; (5) took out wood panels in half of a large two car garage, as well as prepared and sealed the walls in the entire garage; (6) installed a new ceiling lamp, including wiring, as well as put up a new ceiling fan in another room. I paid for flooring, cabinets, dishwasher, paint, and other items (excluded from the $19,000 figure). Mike billed me for the windows, basement materials and a few other items, as well as labor.

Description of Work: We contracted Mike and his brother Dave to remove our old kitchen cabinets, counter tops and appliances and install new cabinets, counter tops, appliances and a floating laminate floor over an existing ceramic tile floor in the kitchen and to remove our old vanity and tub/shower in our main bath and install a new vanity, additional wall cabinet, new tub/shower and a new ceramic tile floor over the existing floor. We supplied all the major components, so their cost was labor only.

Description of Work: He's installing a jacuzzi, a vanity, mirror, light and tiling. He's also building a deck for the jacuzzi.

Description of Work: They finished a room in our basement, installed a new ceiling, drywall, and trim. They updated a bar in the main part of the basement and added trim around the windows and baseboard. They also did electrical and plumbing to the areas where needed.

Description of Work: They installed a wall with a pocket door to enclose the master bathroom (separating it from the master bedroom); relocated electrical switches (and installed a new outlet); installed a vanity cabinet; installed a fan for ventilation and glass atop a wall for lighting; modified (shortened) cabinets and counter tops to allow space for the wall.

Description of Work: Remodeled kitchen, bath & laundry. Reconfigured entire wing of house including demolition, framing, wiring, plumbing, window & door framing, and installation, increasing pitch of roof and vaulting ceilings, skylight installation, exterior siding/soffit/fascia, tile work, floor installation, cabinet & fixture installation, countertops, moldings.
