MALARIK ELECTRIC

We had just bought our first house and it needed a lot of work! We had about six weeks to renovate the home before we had to move in. I contacted Dave a few weeks in advance and discussed with him the work we wanted done on the house. He was very receptive to our requests and even gave some good advice. He gave us an estimate which was fair. He began work on time, but then disappeared for a couple days. He returned my phone calls and said he was working on another job. After much prodding, he finished the work on time. His work is high quality and up-to-code. He replaced the service pole where the electric lines come into the house. All weatherstriping and flashing was replaced and caulked. He replaced our circuit panel with a larger one and labeled all the circuits in pencil. I would have preferred he used pen or marker...the pencil is really hard to read by candle-light. All new electrical lines were run from the circuit breaker through the ceiling in the finished basement to the kitchen. Work in the kitchen was done in "new construction-type" condition. Kitchen was torn down to the bare studs. We were happy enough with his work to hire him to come back a year later and add some more lighting to the kitchen and living room.

They previously had replaced our entire electrical system. They said they could replace the wiring through the floors and not have to tear out our walls. They had a good reputation and their price was cheaper.

Dave and his helper performed all of their electrical work in full compliance with the electrical code. All of the work was neat, and looked good, and functioned the way it was supposed to.
