Description of Work: Herbert is building a home in The Summit at the end of the cull de sac. So far only the block work is complete. If the quality of work done to date is representative of the quality of work yet to be done the building inspector should shut down construction. Some joints are missing mortar. Several blocks were installed cracked or cracked after being laid. The blocks in the back of the house are 1 ½ inches out of level. The framers needed to rip a 2 x 6 sill plate from 1/8 inch to 1 1/2 to shim up the sub floor. The block cores were not poured with concrete and rebar to prevent cave in. It's to bad this type of work is performed on an $800,000 home.
