I was so fortunate to find someone who was honest and very hard working. Shelley(owner of COTC) is not afraid to work hard and get dirty when necessary! She was great with my mother who was not always happy to be parting with some of the clutter. She was also very good with finding the charities that could best use the donatable goods and also arranged for consignment shops to sell what could be sold. Both of these jobs would have been overwhelming if I had to do them myself. The work started with throwing away the obvious garbage. Between the two houses we filled three large dumpsters. Then there was the boxing and bagging of the donatable items and arranging for them to be picked up or delivered to the donation center. Then Shelley took items to consignment stores and opened accounts there for me, and of course there was lots of cleaning being done along the way. In my mother's house, the cupboards and closets were cleaned and organized. Now my mother has a clean and safe home and my grandmothers house is clean and ready to sell.
Description of Work: I have had Clear-Out The-Chaos do two really big jobs for me. (the jobs were about 2 years apart) The first was to clean out and organize my mother's house (she was hoarding). It was so cluttered it was no longer safe for my mother to walk around her own house, and impossible to clean around all the junk. The other job was to clean out my grandmothers house after she passed away. Both jobs required a dumpster. Everything had to be sorted through and either thrown away, donated or sold. The cost listed above is the total for both jobs.
