+ 0 moreI had an issue regarding an elderly relative. When I contacted Chem-Dry I was given excellent information and a very quick appointment for them to assess the situation. The management company for the elderly relative decided to resolve the situation by replacing the carpeting. I do not feel this would have happened had Chem-Dry not counseled me. I will use them for my next carpet cleaning. The representative told me "we serve people, but we also clean carpets". I think that should be their catch phrase. Thank you!!

+ 0 moreThey scheduled it quickly and were at my house on time. The service was very good, the gentleman doing the work was friendly and efficient. He also made suggestions and went the extra mile to be sure the tile was cleaned and sealed. I was happy to find the cost of carpet cleaning beat the price I have paid in the past with larger companies. I definitely will call them again.
Description of Work: This company gave me an estimate on the phone to clean and seal grout. I decided to also have carpet cleaned in hall.

+ -1 moreThe guy from chem dry was here as scheduled, he was a little unprofessional but nothing to bad. After he left the carpets did not seem any cleaner and there were still many visable dirty areas. I barrowed my friends carpet cleaner and went over the carpets again. The clean water that was extracted from the floors looked like mud.
Description of Work: Chem dry sent one of their employees out to clean the carpet. My husband and I cleared the rooms out that were to be cleaned. He sprayed a carpet cleaner on the carpets then went over them with this buffing type machine.

+ 2 moreThey arrived on time, examined the areas that needed to be cleaned made recommendations and performed the work in a timely and professional manner.
Description of Work: Citiwide Chemdry cane in with their brand new XTS (crossover truck mount system) and performed a miracle on my carpeting. I have 2 German Shepards, one a puppy, and 3 kids needless to say on white frezie carpeting we needed a miracle. The carpeting looked brand new after 7 years, all the spots and stains came out and it was dry in an hour. Our ceramic tile came out like it was just installed. The Technicians were very courteous and professional and answered all my questions regarding pet urine, dander and maintaining my carpets and furnishings. I have never had a better experience than this with a carpet cleaning company and would recommend them to family and friends.

+ -1 moreI could not believe that the carpets came out so clean. We've had it cleaned before, but it never came out like this. I also asked him to look at our white custom made sofa while he was here because ther was some dirt that had been left by my dogs. He recommended that I could remove this with a stiff brush, instead of charging us to clean it. I thought that was so great of him to not try to charge us for cleaning.
Description of Work: They cleaned the carpet on the steps, in the upstairs hallway, and around our bed in the traffic areas.

+ -1 moreMy phone call was returned the same day I left a message. Citiwide was able to schedule a visit within a couple of days and they came when they said they would. They did all the work of moving the furniture to get the rugs, and they were very pleasant during the process. The results are great, the rugs look really nice, and we'll definitely use them again.

+ -1 moreThe cleaner came on time, was very professional and even vacuumed wall boards and cobwebs. He did a good job with extremely dirty carpets. Some parts were just too far gone to look completely clean. My only complaint is that it is more than seven hours after he left and the carpets are still damp enough to leave foot marks. Still I would give them a good recommendation.
Description of Work: We have a three story Victorian with lots of rooms. We put carpet in over seven years ago. To my shame we had never had it cleaned until today.

I liked the service so much, I had them come back to do my furniture. It took a little longer to completely dry than originally stated, but in fairness, it was a damp weather day. I will use the service again.
Description of Work: Cleaned carpet in my new home. Previous owner had three cats and the carpet was LOADED with cat hair. There was also a small ''spray'' area that was cleaned.

+ -1 moreTHE WORKER ARRIVED SLIGHTLY LATE (AROUND 15 MINUTES). HE SPENT HALF AN HOUR REMEASURING THE ROOMS AND GAVE US A PRICE WHICH WAS 30% OVER THE QUOTED PRICE. I WAS VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT THE INFLATED PRICE, BUT DECIDED TO GO AHEAD WITH HIM SINCE I HAD PREPARED THE ROOMS, BY MOVING THE FURNITURE. SHORTLY AFTER HE STARTED VACUUMING, HE RECEIVED A PHONE CALL ON HIS CELL AND SPOKE FOR ABOUT TEN MINUTES. I OVERHEARD HIM SPEAKING WITH SOMEONE FROM HIS OFFICE ABOUT ME AND REFERRING TO ME IN A DEROGATORY MANNER. AT THE CONCLUSION OF HIS PHONE CALL, HE INFORMED ME THAT HE HAD TO LEAVE DUE TO A FAMILY EMERGENCY. I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM OR THE OFFICE WITH AN APOLOGY OR AN EXPLANATION.

THE PRICE CAME IN ABOUT $500 OVER THE ESTIMATE, BUT THE ESTIMATE WAS MADE BY TELEPHONE WITHOUT THEIR SEEING THE SCOPE OF THE JOB IN PERSON. WE WILL USE THEM AGAIN BUT GET BETTER INFORMATION ABOUT ESTIMATES.
Description of Work: WE WERE INFESTED WITH MOTHS IN OUR ORIENTAL RUGS. THEY TOOK THE RUGS OFF SITE AND CLEANED AND FUMIGATED THEM (USING A MAGNIFYING GLASS TO BE SURE THAT ALL THE MOTH COCOONS WERE REMOVED). WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH THE TECHNICIAN'S KNOWLEDGE OF CONSTRUCTION AND CARE OF ORIENTAL RUGS. THEY ALSO CLEANED ALL THE WOOL CARPETING IN OUR HOME. WE ALSO BOUGHT NEW PADDING FOR THE ORIENTAL RUGS THAT CONTAIN ONLY MAN MADE MATERIALS THAT WILL NOT ATTRACT MOTHS. THERE WAS A LOT OF FURNITURE MOVING INVOLVED AND THEY HANDLED THE EFFORT CAREFULLY.

Description of Work: WE HAD THE CARPET IN OUR LARGE FAMILY ROOM, STAIRS, HALLWAY AND 3 BEDROOMS CLEANED. WE ALSO HAD A SOFA CLEANED. THE SOFA WAS EXTREMELY DIRTY (LOTS OF FOOD STAINS), AND EVERYTHING CAME OUT. IT IS NOW SPOTLESS. THE FAMILY ROOM CARPET HAD MUDDY FOOTPRINTS, AND EVERYTHING CAME OUT. THE CARPETS DRIED VERY QUICKLY, AND THERE WERE NO SMELLY FUMES.
