On Wednesday, November 9, 2022 I had called the above company and spoke to the owner by the name of Bill. I explained to him the challenges we were having with our furnace and not having heat for nearly 24 hours. The temperatures outside dropped nearly 40° within a day. He told me that he could send someone to our home on Friday November 11th, 2022 that morning. The morning came and went and no one came. Around 12:00 PM I had called to see if someone was still coming he said, “someone should be there shortly”. One of his employees by the name of Paul finally arrived and he assessed the situation by listening to what we told him about what we were experiencing. He didn’t take out one tool, not one. He didn’t do anything to determine what the problem could be. He had called another colleague on the phone while he was there and explained what was going on and then told us “he would call us later that evening or the next morning that he had to call around for parts and would give us a price”. We never heard back. The temperature was 35° that night we had no heat. Saturday, November 12, 2022 we still did not hear back from the Paul and he had told us that they work on Saturdays (we stayed home all day in the hopes he would call) Sunday, November 13, 2022 we still hadn't heard anything and the temperature was in the mid 20’s. We still didn’t have any heat. Monday, November 14, 2022 I made a follow-up call to see if someone was coming and if there were any answers for the parts and prices. Bill Bonacci, the owner, said “someone will be there in a couple hours”. No one showed up. Five days without heat. We are highly recommending that anyone from the Scranton area or outline areas do not utilize this plumber. Not only is Bill Bonacci not forthcoming but he’s also extremely unprofessional. How can you do that to a family that needed help and you left them without heat? His lack of honesty was disgraceful and shame on him.

Install went as forcasted. Since then I have been disappointed with the output of the boiler. It does not keep the home warm enough.
Description of Work: Removed old gas hot water baseboard boiler and installed new high efficiency unit.

Although they are busy, Bill came over to see what the problem was the day I called. The replacement was installed the next day, they took away all debris, cleaned up, and hauled away the old heater. The man who came was friendly, professional, and efficient. While courteous, he did not stop to chat. He answered all my questions while continuing to work. I had previously gone online to determine whether my water heater could be repaired, so when I was told it needed to be replaced, I knew that this was true.i had priced water heaters online, and although you can have a lower price quoted by big box stores, it often turns out to be more expensive with add ons. Bill Bonacci's company has also installed vanity tops and faucets for me recently, doing a quality job, leaving a clean work site, again hauling away the old sinks,faucets and vanities tops. I didn't get that bill yet, but I now have a serviceman here to fix my gas boiler which stopped working last night. I called this morning, and he sent someone over within the hour.. Turns out it was just the pilot light that had to be relit up inside the boiler. Whew, Fifteen minutes and done. They do respond to emergencies.The week before I moved in, my water pipe froze inside an exterior wall during a prolonged cold snap. Bill sent a man over to try to thaw the pipe. While it did not thaw immediately, he told me what I could do over a longer period of time to safely thaw the pipe without its bursting, which I did. He did not charge me for the call, so it has been the beginning of a very comfortable customer/service relationship. I will continue to use Bill Bonacci Plumbing for any plumbing, heating needs at my house. His is a company you can trust.
Description of Work: Replaced water heater which was leaking with a new larger energy efficient model. He also removed the old water heater.I also have had vanity tops and faucets replaced, and boiler repaired.

Did a good job of installing the a new water heater, and fixed the ventilation fixture that attaches to the heater.
Description of Work: Had 8 yr old hot water heater stop working. After an inspecton, it was determined that a new one was needed.

A lot of people use him, and he's very busy. He does quality work. He is a little more expensive than others, but he's worth it. The price could be lower, but he fixes it right.
Description of Work: There were issues with the water heater pushing water out of the spout. We had to change the pressure reducer.
