The owner of this store was wonderful to work with. I went to the Floor Store, Inc. after a disasterous encounter with Kelleher Carpeting in Dunmore. After postponing for almost a month - as outdoor installation weather diminished - and dropped them and wen the the Floor Store because it was so close to me. It is a very small business and the owner was VERY pleased to see me (a customer) - the way businesses should be. We picked out the carpet & he was on the phone ordering it as I left. When it came in, we ended up having to wait a little more because of weather, but on Friday the 21, it warmed up just enough to get it done! Two men showed up and had it done in no time! It looks fabulous. Between the Floor Store and Vitucci's Lawn Care my house will look great all winter!

Terrible experience, carpeting installed in my living room began to wear out at the seam. Frank from the Floor Store came to see the carpeting and stated he was responsible for the damage and would schedule someone to come to my home and repair it. I called numerous times over the next few months and was ignored.Finally it got so bad I had the carpeting replaced. I filed a case with Magistrate Alyce Farrell and was awarded the cost of replacing the carpeting and court costs, and the Floor Store had 30 days to pay. On day #29 I received a certified letter stating that the Floor Store was appealing the magistrate's decisiion and hired a lawyer. I can't afford a lawyer but I did file a civil complaint and am determined to fight this to the end. BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY---YOU'LL BE SORRY--I AM

They did a good job! The installer was very nice. Their prices were comparable. I called them on a Tuesday and that same week they were here installing the carpet on Thursday.
