Description of Work: sanded and stained 400-425 sq. feet along with baseboard molding. it went exactly as planned and was surprised at some areas that were badly pet stained came out as well as it did, of course with a darker stain.

+ -1 moreReceived estimate in a really timely fashion. And they worked with us to get the work done before our movers came so that the floors had time to dry/cure. Employees were extremely friendly and answered any questions I had. They would call and notify me when they were going to arrive or make arrangements the day before. They were prompt. Very neat and tidy. Floors look beautiful!
Description of Work: Refinished hardwood floors in our living and dining rooms. Coated bedrooms with polyurethane.

+ -1 moreKen and Larry refinished the hardwood floors in our newly purchased home. They replaced some boards due to staining, sanded, and refinished around 900 sq ft of flooring. From setting-up a walk-though to checking for my satifaction after the floors where finished, Magnotta Hardwood Floors impressed me. Ken came to the house and took a look at the floors. He was very kind and knowledgeable about the floors and answered all my silly questions. Ken did not pressure us to make a decision, he simply gave us a written quote and gave us his contact information if we were interested. My wife and I both felt very comforable having him in the house while we were at work and away for the holidays. He gave us a competitive quote, but it was the profeshionalism that sold us on Magnotta. He worked around our schedule to find the best times to do the floors and they turned out great. I could not be happier and would recommend them for your hardwood needs.

+ -1 moreI couldn't be happier. The guys were here first thing in the morning and worked in some cases all day, breaking briefly for lunch. They were clean, pleasant and thorough. They used high quality materials resulting in beautiful flooring.
Description of Work: I used Magnotta twice in my home. The first project was to refinish red oak floors in my upstairs bedrooms and halls and stair treads. That project took a couple of days to complete. They used a 220 volt sander that minimized dust to a minimum. Of course, the fumes were a bit intense the first two days but it was worth it. The floors came out beautiful and looked brand new. The second project was to lay new pre-stained oak floors over existing flooring in two main rooms and a hallway on the first floor of my home. That project cost $4500 and took three days. They used Mulligan flooring 3/4" red oak stained in Gunstock. Again, their work was excellent, and the results beautiful. The old floors were uneven,badly damaged and squeeked. They layed the new flooring perpendicular to old resulting in a solid surface that is absolutely quiet.
