 + -1 moreThese people were so nice on the phone and when they looked at the job!!! They made it seem like they knew what they were doing....Not!!!!!!! The job took way long and I ended up paying more for the job I was quoted on from the started. I ended up kicking them off the job after I realized the owner would nod off and the tree climber smelled like Booz. I would not recommend this so called company to anyone.!!! Oh and if they do leave stumps behind or brush plan on having it on your property until the following month. I don't know how they last!!!!
Description of Work: I have used this tree service twice. I should have stopped after the 1st incident. Both times, the price quoted is not the price you pay. They will tell you that the job turned out harder than they thought or some other stupid excuse. Also, they will NOT clean up the logs after they cut the tree down! They say they will return but you will have to call them over and over to get the logs out of your yard. Its a real fight with them to complete the job.

 + -1 moreFor the last few months, I've tried to get Keystone to call me back to finish the job which I've paid for. The work couldn't be completed in Aug 2013 because of torrential rains that hit at the end of their work day. I've left maybe 30+ messages and gotten maybe 1-2 callbacks saying I was on the schedule then they wouldn't show. Am concerned that they might no longer be in business. Am now calling them several times a day so if I get a response then I will update AngiesList. This is really disappointing. Kathy and her team were great to work with. I don't understand why I can't get a firm answer from them.

 + -1 moreThey called me back in a timely manner, they arrived on time to give the quote, their estimate was under the other company that bid, THEN they ended up doing more than we agreed upon. All in all, this was a wonderful experience!!! Kathy is such a sweet person, her crew is clean, conscientous, and polite. I would use them again in a heartbeat! UPDATE: All seemed done, I paid for the job, then a torrential rain stopped the crew for almost an hour. Shortly after, they wrapped up for the day (it was late afternoon on a Friday). We were supposed to schedule another date to finish the work, but I've left 3 calls and haven't heard back. Keystone's folks seemed to have integrity so I'm hoping this lack of communication is an oversight.
Description of Work: Keystone cut down 2 large hardwoods, a large leaning pine, and a dozen misc trees. They removed all trees except for the ones I asked to keep for firewood. UPDATE: update to Aug 9, 2013 entry for Keystone Tree

Topping and shaping trees are our specialty. We are known for are take down of the larger trees in the area. all wood , brush and debri is removed from the site of the job. Stump removals , fertilizing, spraying for all types of diseases, diagnosing trees, bushes, shrubs, for all sort of problems it may be having and treat them as well.
The company of Keystone Tree Specialist does all sorts of tree mechanics when asked . The only phase we do not handle is the carving of the tree into shapes such as a mushroom, or other characters. However when asked we will put you in touch with someone who does specialize in that area. We have a sister company in the Poconos of Pa who does do all phases of this work.
