+ -1 morei went on line first to find the mini split ratings. got bids from a few installers and gerald smuri had the best price all gave me prices on a mitsubishe mr. slim which is rated one of the best. they came on time and put covers down where they had to walk in the house. smuri has been in business 35 yrs. so he's not a new comer to the game. he not only explained the system but then took his time to fill out the warranty but also filled all the paper work to get me a 250 rebate from ppl. all i have to do was to get my next bill and mail it in with the paperwork. great experience.

Description of Work: Remove old air conditioner and install heat pump/air conditioner in existing hole in wall. Removed existing furnace, fuel tank, heating fuel, and water heater. Spilled some fuel on ground outside door, put absorbent to soak up fuel. Here for 2 days. |

Description of Work: Jerry installed two ductless AC units in our home. He did an exemplary job. Installed indoor and outdoor components, did all electrical work and cleaned up. You would never know he was there.

Description of Work: Contacted Gerald Smurl for an estimate on a ductless cooling system. Appointment was made in a reasonable time and the owner showed at the time agreed upon. He gave a great explaination of the equipment and work that would be done. Installation was scheduled and he and his team were in and out in no time. Very efficient, clean and professional. Item purchased as worked as expected from day 1 and has been put to the test on many a hot and humid day this past summer. Great comany to deal with for Ductless Air conditioning.

+ -1 moreHe is a plumbing and heating contractor and he is pretty good. We called around for a bunch of estimates, and he was the most reasonable. He gave us an estimate, and as a matter of fact, he is coming on Saturday. We will be getting the date when he's going to do the work. The gas company just put the line. They are really slow. We are happy now that we are going to be using gas. It was good overall. He showed three types asking us which system we wanted to pick from and we knew how much it was. Some people came out and we couldn't get a straight answer from them. They weren't sure. He was good and he was very good at what he did. I've asked him a discount. He is a good choice. One has to get a couple of estimates. He showed up and that's all we could ask for. He is good at what he does.
Description of Work: We are having a furnace put in, as we just had a gas line put in. We are having Gerald Smurl Mechanical Contr come out. He had put a ductless air conditioner earlier and it worked out nice. They quoted me $8500 about three or four months ago.
