Uber Company Heating & Air Conditioning

Business has cratered since the old owners sold the business a few years ago. Had Uber come in and check on my HVAC unit (wouldn't shut off). They 'fixed' it in October. The 'repair' lasted less than 90 days. They came back in January, and replaced the thermostat (didn't give me the old one to show it wasn't working), and told me that I needed new heating elements. They said that heating elements were no longer available (I found new ones in under 10 minutes via Google search), and that I needed a new unit. Tole me they would call me with a cost--never received a call from them with a price. Charged me $300 for their second visit. Two days after they left, same problem returned. Ended up calling another company, and they showed me where wires were not connected, and fixed the problem in under 10 minutes. Uber tried to sell me a whole NEW (~$10000) unit, instead of replacing the $120 heating element, when all that was needed for for wires to be connectd! DO NOT USE THEM!!

The ladies in the office were very helpful & got back to me in timely fashion. Serviceman was professional, on time, accurate with his assessment of then problem & the cost to fix. I love being able to use a local business! I will use this company again when needed!

They are fantastic. The man and workmen were wonderful. The boiler works wonderful. I couldn?t be happier. They cleaned up after themselves, I felt comfortable with them being in my home, they are reliable and they company went above and beyond for us. My house is Victorian and has an over flow water tank for the boiler. My boiler was old but the original tank was so great. They used the same original tank and took money off my bill.

They do good work and dependable.
