ALTEMOSE CONSTRUCTION

Bookcases were completed on time and were excellent. There were problems constructing the unusual picture frames. Altemose took the frames and promised to return and work on them. Despite multiple attempts to contact him again, he NEVER responded or returned. His mother, who works for a local realtorm told me that he had "issues" with us. Because we had paid him promptly and never had any difficult conversations, this was baffling and troubling. We hired another reliable contractor to finish the frame job, but remain deeply frustrated by Mr. Altemose's failure to respond or to explain why he quit our job without notice. If he has concerns about how we dealt with him or prejudice against who we are, he is invited to contact us for a clarifying conversation.

Altemose did carpentry work, built bookcases for us, also frame for large bathtub. He is an expert craftsman and carpenter. I have a diagonal wall, wanted parallelogram frames with opposite-mitred angles, needed to be corrected. I called him at least 10 times since then, left messages, no response. This is a small town, I spoke with people who know him, he still will not contact me.

Andy Altemose is a master carpenter, very intelligent, friendly, & a former school principal. He does his work as promised & within all the limits of the contractual agreement.
