Fantastic experience working with Rob Cook and his team on our projects. We had the entire first floor painted in our 2 year old new construction home. During the estimation process Rob was extremely helpful in helping us select final color options to match our vision. After interviewing and getting estimates from several other painters - we ultimately elected to go with Picasso (Picasso was NOT the cheapest bid we received) due to their personal touch style, overall professionalism, and flexibility. We had originally planned the job for 2 months out, but we were able to get the work done a month early - when a slot in the schedule opened up. The team was very professional, courteous, and worked with us through some unique timing challenges one a home office space. The finishing work (sanding, repairs, corners, etc.) is TOP NOTCH giving the completed walls a very smooth and even appearance. During the painting job, we inquired about wainscoting in the dining room as an additional project. Rob was able to give us a quote the same day - and we had that work completed the following week. Excellent service and value - the quote was 100% accurate and the job completed within the quoted amount of days (3 days total work for an entire first floor painting - 7 rooms). The teams moved our furniture, covered all surfaces not being painted with plastic and drop cloths, and cleaned up when complete daily. The team was especially courteous of noise levels as we work from home and are on the phone for a large portion of our day. We understood the wall sanding would be noisy at times (and it was) but prior to starting daily, the team asked about the best times to sand where impact would be at a minimum. For the wainscoting project, Rob was able to match the craftsman style trim of our existing woodwork perfectly. It looks like it has always been part of the house. This is especially true as Rob took the extra time to blend in the new wainscoting into the pre-existing baseboards and door casing, covering all nail holes, and matching the existing color paint exactly. We are absolutely thrilled with the results and will definitely be calling on Rob and his team for additional painting and finish work when the time comes. Highly recommend!

My experience with Picasso Painting was excellent in all aspects of working with them. The owner, Rob Cook, was extremely reliable and professional - in his communications, scheduling, and workmanship. He’s a perfectionist, which in this line of work is an especially great trait. He and his team take great pride in everything they do - from the prep work including protecting everything in the area they are working and thoroughly preparing surfaces before any painting occurs all the way through to the final results and leaving the home the way they found it (or better!) I also liked that I could talk to Rob about my ideas for colors and he would help me with decisions as much as I wanted. And when the initial color I picked for one room wasn’t an ideal choice he called me to suggest I come look at it before he continued as he thought I wouldn’t be happy. He was right and I was appreciative he did that instead of just continuing on since I had said it was the color I wanted. We changed colors with his help and the new selection was so much better to coordinate with our new carpeting and what I was really initially trying for. I initially hired Picasso to paint just 2 rooms with cathedral ceilings before we moved into our new house and we planned to do the rest - but once we saw how spectacular the results were we knew we needed the rest of the home to look equally as good and so we hired them to complete many other rooms! Picasso Painting has a busy and full calendar these days but they are worth the wait!!

Interior Painting & Basement Remodeling

I would recommend him highly. Very professional and attentive to what the customer wants. I am having him again come back to do another room in our home. Work was superb.

After I was quoted a price and I agreed, I was told that they were booked five weeks out. I said that was fine. The next week my oven stopped lighting and Rob was nice enough to move the appliance removal part of my job up. I was extremely grateful. I was quo $500 for this part of the job. When his employees showed up I was immediately told that the job would be more than $500. I assumed that was because a cabinet needed to be built where the wall oven was being removed as I was putting in my own gas range in that spot with an over the range microwave being installed. This had been told to Rob who assured me that it was no problem as these were master builders. Well cook top was removed, wall oven was removed. New cabinet was installed after two trips to Home Depot as the master builders bought the wrong size initially. Cabinet was installed, range put in place. I was sent an invoice the next day for almost $1700. I will say I was surprised, especially since the invoice was simply the amount, no breakdown for parts and labor. I paid it and then asked for an estimate for the remaining work. Told him I couldn't afford any more surprises. He instantly became snotty and told me that the job evolved in real time and that was why it was so much. Told me he thought that I was replacing the cook top and range with a new cooktop and range which I absolutely didn't say. Told him clearly that I was putting in a new gas range and microwave. I asked him if he was still five weeks out. He said yes and that I was on the list. That was about 10 weeks ago. I texted him in early November and asked if he could give me an idea of when they would be starting as he initially told me that everything would be done before Thanksgiving. He never even responded to my text. His master builders left a drill and some other tools at my house. I told him to let them know. I eventually tossed them. I would never hire this company again.

On time, great communication and super work.

Called within 15 mins for time to come for estimate. Came and gave estimate. I was told I was 5 weeks out in the schedule. Had to wait longer so emergency repairs from storm could be done for people. Finally came to do my house. Left telling me he’d be back in a few days to finish. Waited 20 days and he never showed. When I emailed Rob he told me he forgot about my job. Also told me he never walked away from a job without finishing and that he would be back. Waited a couple more weeks and no show. Work that was done was good too bad it didn’t get finished by Rob.

Rob did a fantastic job painting our first floor bathroom. We corresponded primarily via email and he typically responded within minutes. He arrived on time and was professional and polite. We threw some changes at him a few days prior to the job which he took in stride - the pricing updates were fair - and the results were amazing. He patched several imperfections in the walls & ceiling and it's as if they were never there. His attention to detail is next level and is shows in his work. Rob will be back at our home the next time we need painting done.

Very well Rob and his team were very professional and were very respectful of our home. Scott and Cole did a great job on the basement. Both Rob and Scott made good suggestions for improvements. We would definitely hire them again.

We can compliment his work , but unfortunately he never came back to to finish many of the little things that needed to be done and there are several things. When we talked to Rob and Anthony they said "they never leave a job until it is completed" well he left us sitting twice, so this has left a very sour taste and disappointment as we thought we finally found a contractor we could trust .

Its a little over two weeks since the work was done and I think they did a very good job. The guys that worked on the roof were very professional.....wouldn't hesitate to hire again.

Picasso Paining did excellent work painting several large rooms in our newly purchased home, including a two-story foyer, large open great room and two staircases. Rob's attention to detail was amazing. He repaired every popped nail, buckled seam, dent, etc. No blemish escaped his eye, and he and his crew worked until the work was done to a high standard. Definitely will recommend.

The Picasso team was prompt and professional, and pleasant from the first phone call to the end of the job. Our initial call was returned within minutes, and Rob Cook came to our house that same evening to take measurements and assess our needs. Rob was great at assisting with color selection, too! We received our estimate within 24 hours and they were on the job the next week. Everything went so fast and smooth it was unbelievable. As for the work itself, the Picasso team are true pros who made our paint job look fabulous. They had the patience and professionalism to make even our challenging areas look brand-new. We will 100% be hiring them for future jobs

It was amazing. I needed to update my daughters room and I was unsure of why to do. Picasso painting was honest and upfront with what should be done and we went with his recommendation. We are one happy family with what they did. Will be calling them again.

Outstanding work and service! Rob gave us options for all work and frequently recommended lower cost options. Work was done when promised, despite all the issues with COVID-19, professionally while going over and above to protect our floors and furnishings. Will definitely use them again!

Rob was great! He was able to suggest light fixtures and install them and even suggest changing outlets and light switches -things you don’t always think about. He kept a clean workplace and he and his crew were top notch. If you want a spectacular job with attention to all the little details this is the company to use

Rob & his son did an excellent job in reconstructing our basement after it was flooded. They were here early and made sure the job was done right and we were satisfied. Rob even came back to work on a few more things that we asked him to tackle. Great family business that I will call on again!!!

Rob and his team did an incredible job on our kitchen. When quotes for a total kitchen renovation were way out of our budget, we decided to move forward with some updates that could help us like our kitchen a little more. Rob and Picasso were affordable and stood by their top-quality workmanship. They gave us total creative control and were helpful with all of our questions. Painted cabinets, new flooring, new ceiling fan, and a new sink/countertop took us a long way from where our kitchen was. The awesome team from Picasso Painting & Renovation got the job done and made sure they followed-through on their work. They were professional, responsive, and just as excited for our project as we were. They were awesome with our two little ones around in the house and with our pup.
