BEHMERWALD NURSERY

Although this was a relatively small landscaping job, I was treated as though my business mattered. My phones calls were always promptly returned and all my issues and questions addressed. The work was completed on time and to my full satisfaction.

It was wonderful, because I do not know much about plants and her help was what I have always needed but never received at the larger nurseries. They also have a lot of trees, shrubs at a great price.

It was a pleasure to do business with Behmerwald Nursery. I highly recommend them.

I purchased a new tree for my back yard & it died over the severe winter. The nursery gave me full credit to purchase anything else I might want to buy there. Also it is just such a lovely spot, almost a hidden garden feel & quite dog friendly. My old dog used to love going there with me to play with the old resident dogs.

They were very friendly and had extensive knowledge about their plants and trees. We were looking for trees or shrubs that would act as a screen on our property line. The problem was that that area is a wet location . They showed us the perfect shrub and it worked out fine!

Bill came out to review what needed to be done, was on time and very knowledgeable. The crew came out on time as well and knew about plants, unlike many so called landscapers. They put down 4 yards of mulch under my recently trimmed hollies on a freezing cold day and dug up 4 shrubs in the back garden that just were not working out. Bill had intriguing suggestions for replacements come spring and also gave me a price for some stone work off the patio. I have been gardening for about 45 years and I am highly pleased with Behmerwald. UPDATE April 2015: This year they paved a path from the patio to my neighbor's with gravel and flagstone; cut back an arborvitae, stumped 2 spireas; cut back ornamental grasses, removed a large rose and mulched under the enormous hollies again, this time adding landscape fabric. They were here from before 9 Am until 5PM. $1200.

They helped me selecting plants for around our driveway and helped me select what would fit in that area. I was very pleased with their service. Actually, they keep records of every purchase we made. When somebody ran over one of our trees, I didn't know what kind it was. Since they had all the records, they gave me the receipt so that I could get reimbursed for it.
