Tammy's initial consultation was just amazing. She quickly and accurately assessed the situation, defined our different "styles" and came up with a plan for organizing us. With three of us working on the task we could see the light at the end of the tunnel almost immediately. Tammy kept us focused on the task of keeping or throwing. When we got confused or overwhelmed she would get us back on track. Tammy just kept the process moving by rolling up her sleeves and jumping in to help.
Description of Work: My husband recently changed jobs in his company and needed to prepare our home office to function as his work office as well. I also use this space as my home office for my business. The space was big enough but filled to the brim with "stuff" that had no home. We were overwhelmed and needed an organizer to get us on the right track and fast! So we called in Tammy.

Description of Work: Ms. Hoffman helped me perform a miracle - clearing out three rooms stuffed with furniture, books, papers, knick knacks etc. She arranged to dispose of what would be given to a second hand store which would have been an additional task for me.

My experience was GREAT!! The guest bedroom/office that was once a storage dumping ground in our house is now a wonderful space to use for work or overnight guests. The organization of my mail and bill payment system is perfect for keeping me on-track and the closet organization has really made me feel so much better about my home!! It's amazing how much better I feel!!!! Tammy is fantastic at her work and instantly made me feel at ease with my own personal "embarrassment" of being so "un-organized". She is a true professional and knows how to create better living environments!! I could not be any happier!!!!!

This was an amazing experience. I had always thought that hiring a professional organizer would be expensive, embarrassing and time consuming, but that couldn't have been farther from the truth. Tammy is extremely easy to work with and makes you feel comfortable right away. She is an excellent combination of cheer leader and drill sargent, encouraging you to do the things you know you need to do in order to have the home you want, while keeping things on-task, on-time and moving along. Most of the rooms took only about 4 hours each and she found ways to organize my things without requiring that I spend a lot of money on new furniture or containers (I ended up buying almost nothing in the end). She had excellent ideas about re-purposing and was very understanding about how hard it is to let things go. Tammy loves what she does and it shows. It is so worth a few hundred dollars to have a bedroom sanctuary rather than a disaster area! I would recommend Tammy to anyone.
Description of Work: Tammy performed an initial consultation, reviewing the entire house and sitting with me to discuss my wants, needs, goals, etc. She prepared an attack strategy and scheduled the first work day. Over the course of 4 days we purged, organized, rearranged and restocked the bedroom, library, living room, dining room & kitchen. Tammy taught me techniques for reducing clutter, made suggestions regarding things to buy or find, took unwanted things to a donation site. She also gave me suggestions for staging the house for sale as we went along in the organizing process. She took before and after photos which she sent me via email and helped me to come up with working strategies for problem areas like mail and laundry.
