Everett's A/C

Terry installed our new Heat Pump systems over a year ago. They worked ok for a little while but then we lost air conditioning last summr called for service all and no response from him. Told Terry our electric bills are over $600 a month there must be something wrong with the system. Left messages and texts never responded. Called him from a different phone number and he answered this was a month ago. Told him heat hasnt been working down stairs he Said he would be out this week. It's been e weeks and he doesn't answer his phone ir texts. I've not been happy with this system from day 1 and the service after the installation is non existing. I would not recommend him at all. We will now have to have someone else come out to fix his system.

Terry is very personable, however, he did not install our heat pump properly and after calling him repeatedly for two months for a service call, and getting no call back from him, I contacted another professional to have the problem remedied.

Terry is a very capable man. He installed four separate heat pumps for me. Things go well until Terry decides to not return phone calls or come out to service a unit that he installed. I spoke with him last Thursday and he was as jolly as ever. He said he would come service one of my units. Then NOTHING. He falls off the planet and doesnt return my calls! Crazy! We never had words or anything. Hes done this several times in the past. I was afraid that he was having health problems but no, he just goes away! I finally called Air Professionals in Bethlehem. They came out the same day and did the repair. Ill now rest easy not having to worry about what kind of mood Terry is in. UPDATE!!! I have a crawl space under my house. There are two A/C Heat ducts that run through it. I paid Everetts A/C to replace all the duct work in my downstairs system (I have two heat pumps). I needed to get into the crawlspace this weekend. I removed the access panel (2x2 feet) to get into it. THE TWO RUNS OF DUCT WERE HANGING DOWN TOTALLY DISCONNECTED!!! IT WAS EASY TO SEE THAT THEY WERE THE ORIGINAL DUCTS AS EVERYTHING EVERETTS INSTALLED WAS A DIFFERENT BRAND OF DUCT. FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS, MY A/C AND HEAT WERE BEING BLOWN INTO A DIRT FLOORED CRAWLSPACE!!! I WOULD LOVE TO SUE THIS MAN IN COURT BUT IT WOULD BE MORE TROUBLE THAN ITS WORTH. HE SHOULD BE PROHIBITED FROM DOING ANY WORK IN ANYONES HOUSE!!! I TOOK PICTURES OF THE DUCTS HANGING DOWN. ITS EASY TO SEE WHAT HIS GUYS DID; THEY REATTACHED THE OLD DUCT TO THE NEW MAIN RUN THAT THEY INSTALLED. THEY PULLED ON THE OLD DUCT TO GET IT TO MAKE THE CONNECTION BUT IN DOING SO THEY PULLED IT APART FROM INSIDE THE CRAWL SPACE!!! CRIMINAL!! FOR THREE YEARS MY HEAT AND A/C WERE GOING INTO A DIRT FLOOR CRAWLSPACE. THANK YOU TERRY!

Had HVAC system installed Sep 1, 2016. Air conditioning ran fine although very noisy, but problems started IMMEDIATELY when we turned on the heat. Thermostat was faulty and needed to be replaced in Nov 2016. We questioned the placement of the vents as two were put in my medium sized bedroom and only one was put in each of the larger rooms in my open kitchen/dining area, and only two in my enormous living room. Also, two vents are broken and cannot be opened or closed easily. My husband has made multiple adjustments to the vents per Terry's instructions to try to regulate the heat so it is warmer in the living areas where we need it, and cooler in the bedrooms where we don't need it. We contacted Terry and the office multiple times asking for a service call as we are not satisfied with the heat output of the system, and there is a binding noise when the system starts up. Terry advised my husband on Dec 28, 2016 that a reset of the system was needed, but never came back to do it despite numerous calls to the office, website messages, and texts to his mobile phone. Last contact my husband had with the office was on Nov 6, 2017. The person who answered the phone was very discourteous, and misunderstood that the faulty thermostat replacement was not a service call to reset the system. After asking my husband for his contact information, she hung up on him. We have no complaints with the service provided at the time of installation. Terry went so far as to sit with us to complete the online registration to ensure the system was covered by the ten year warranty. However, now that we need a follow up service call, we have been completely ignored for over a year.

He provided a new system that was not only better suited to my house, but runs more effectively and even made everything more eye pleasing as well. I had to replace 2 heat pumps and had 3 contractors come over to my house to give me an estimate. I was very impressed with the presentation given by Terry even though his estimate was a little higher than that of the lowest offer. His professionalism was what made him my choice. He started the work in about 2 weeks time having to wait for my heat pumps to get to his place of business. He removed the old units and started to install the new ones the same day. The job was done in 3 days time. It was done neatly and professionally .I've have been using them for the past 8months and I couldn't be happier with the results of this installation. hi,terry came to give a quote,he looked, measured the rooms,looked at the windows that I had,looked some more and then he explained exactly what he wanted to do . He came when he said he would, removed the old and installed the new. his crew clean up all mess,and worked very hard to complete the job.

Excellent work very professional. Terry and his crew solved the huge problem we had and we are so happy with the results. Also this crew cleans up after themselves. They cared enough to treat my home as if was theirs.

Terry called within 5 minutes of my request and said he would be at my home the same day as my AC had stopped working on a very hot day. We chose Everetts based on his presentation and overall complete knowledge of Heat Pump systems and how it would apply to OUR needs. Many companies are trained in Heat Pump systems and installations, but its the SMALL things that counted with us that Everetts mentioned and all the others did not. We liked the fact that Everetts is a smaller family owned business with a long history of service. From the beginning, everything was explained in detail and all of our questions were answered. We felt comfortable with Terry because he truly gave us the kind of service rarely found nowadays.

I was interested in installing A/C in my home which is over 100 yrs old. I had several estimates and suggestions from 4 other companies. I was so confused with all the inconsistent information I was given, I was about to give up and just use window units. I went on Home Advisor and Everett's A/C came up on the second time I entered my info. Terry came and told me I could save money by installing a heat pump and getting rid of my oil heat. True to his word, Terry and his crew started on a Mon and was finished by Wed of the same week, with no extra charges!! I would highly recommend Everett's!

Terry and his crew are assume! Neat clean and professional. Explained every detail. Terry is value engineering at its best.. Delivered on everything he promised and then some.. A few days after the install was completed we thought we heard a strange noise coming from the outside unit? So I called Terry and asked him what he thought it could be; but he was not sure and said to safe he'll be there in 20 minutes to check it out.. Turns out everything was normal and we've not heard anything since. You may not think this was a big deal, but, it was 7:30 pm on a Sunday night..Thank You Terry & Sons

My parents A/C went low on R-22 and my parents and my kids were getting roasted in the sun. He serviced our AC at 10:00PM after I finished fixing all the ductwork in the home. He was very helpful and likes to educate his customers on how things work. He charged the A/C, cleaned the condenser and now my kids don't look like they took a shower at their grandparents. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Was looking to install heat pump and eliminate oil base board heat system. From beginning to end Terry treated my family and installed the heat pump and A/C like it was his own. Took the time and explained everything to me and answered all and any questions. Top notch quality craftsmanship and could see the care and quality his team put into the job. Never thought I would find a quality contractor that took care of his customers as they were his own family. When checking completed job of heat pump system, the quality and pride in their work really showed from beginning to end. Would definitely recommend Terry and his team to any person.

Terry looked over our existing system, made some notes and I compared those notes to the ones left by the previous team -- his notes were more complete than the team we've been working with for more than 10-years! As part of his evaluation, he recommended a replacement system, one with more features, capabilities and higher SEER rating than the one being proposed by the other team, as well as saving us more than $1,500 over the other system. Plus, Terry took the time to explain everything to us in layman's terms. The installation went as promised & the system is performing as promised. My wife & I would highly recommend Everett's A/C!
