Willetts Stone Contracting

Mr. Willetts came to see what needed to be done to steps and sidewalk where most of the mortar and bricks had loosened. I initially called him for an estimate to replace the bricks, however, after looking at the site, Mr. Willets expressed concern that we would be faced with the same problem again in a few years and recommended instead replacing the bricks with bluestone. Since I didn't know what bluestone was, I followed him to a site where he had performed work in the past. He showed me a very big job he had completed which was of an extraordinarily large patio and walkway and steps. His work was stunning and beautiful. He then gave us a bid to complete the work with the understanding that the price may be increased if once he removed the bricks the base needed replaced too. Fortunately, the base was solid, and Mr. Willetts did not have to replace the base. He held true to his bid. We were so pleased with his work that we had him do additional work of placing a limestone cap on a pillar and repairing the mortar in our brick patio and on a retaining wall. I cannot say enough about how beautiful the bluestone and the limestone looks. I always thought I loved the brick, but I think the stone is much more elegant and goes better with our home. I would highly recommend Mr. Willetts. Because his work schedule is weather dependent and slow due to the nature of removing old brick and preparing surfaces, I had to wait longer than I wanted to have this work completed. I am so glad that we waited because Mr. Willetts work was well worth the wait. I would highly recommend him, but please do not be discouraged if you have to wait your turn. He gives every customer his absolute full attention and doesn't leave until the job is completed and the customer is completely satisified. Last, although this can be very messy work, our lives and the work area were minimally disrupted during the time he worked here.
