I totally and completely agree with the members' reviews of
Rand M Painting from Review Date: March 11, 2013, Review Date: June
15, 2012 and Review Date: December 02, 2011 These are excellent descriptions in summing up Rich and Rand M Painting.

I found Rich on Angie's
List. First of all, Rich is a wonderful man.
He is very nice and friendly to talk to.
He does an absolutely professional job with incredible attention to
detail. Rich is prompt, well organized, neat, has a great work ethic, and very knowledgeable.
Rich painted our entire upstairs: 4
bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the hallway including doors and trim. He installed new baseboard throughout the upstairs
and installed two new medicine cabinets in the bathrooms as well as towel racks
and hooks. THE FINISHED JOB IS ABSOLUTELYBEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Rich's two sons
worked with him. They were very professional and hard working, friendly, and aimed
to please. Rich's wife, Michelle, even stopped over to my house with many
samples of paint colors to give advice on colors, which I really appreciated. Rich
also gave good advice on best paint to use. Rich would call me in the evening to "touch
base" with any change in plans etc. I cannot say enough good things about Rich and
Rand M Painting. We plan on using Rich
to paint our downstairs in the future.
I GIVE MY VERY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION TO R and M PAINTING!!

Rich runs a first-rate professional operation. He held to all estimates of timeframe and cost, leveled expectations fully, and was fully reliable and on-time. He scaled a team to the size of our engagement, and knocked it out efficiently -- without any sacrifice in quality.
But beyond any other painters we had ever contracted before, Rich's obsession with detail and perfection is unparalleled. Despite the magnitude of our job, every surface was fully prepped and every line is impeccibly sharp. There were even repairs outside of his scope that he was willing to either advise on or directly address. His work area was cleaned thoroghly each day, and he didn't leave until each jar of touch-up paint was neatly labeled and stored.
We thought that painting we recently had done during a kitchen remodel was done well... until we saw the difference in Rich's work. Now, we're going to have him return to add his perfection to a standard job carried out by the kitchen contractor. Then, onto the deck, additional trim, and a number of exterior features. He's our guy!
To top it off, Rich is just fun to have around. He's an all-around great-guy who performs a stellar service. While he won't be low-bidder, he shouldn't be. His prices are more than fair, and his end product is beyond all others.

.Rich arrived with his crew and got started right away.They worked steadily through the day. They are very careful painters taking care to keep the work area clean and were very careful not to track anything thru the house. They cleaned up every day; you would never know they had been painting in the house.

Rich gave us an estimate that was nearly the same as another contractor. He said he could start in about two or three weeks, but after several phone calls back and forth, he finally arrived in about six or seven weeks. He only uses one helper who assists in carrying equipment and sanding walls while Rich does nearly all the patching and painting himself, which is why the job takes so long (four and a half days), but the quality is so good. All the furniture and stained trim was well protected. We removed the wall paper ourselves and nicked up the drywall in the process. Rich had to do a huge amount of patching and sanding, but after the two coats of paint dried, the walls were perfectly smooth. The detail work was excellent, with no paint anywhere on the stained trim. Sixteen hundred dollars is very reasonable for four and a half days of constant work (they didn't even stop for lunch) plus a helper. His work is so good we would not hesitate to call him again, as long as we didn't need it done immediately.

Had Rich paint the entire inside of my house. It was a big job. Two other painters said it was too big for them. He did a great job. He was neat and tidy. I would recommend him without reservation. He is my painter for life. Great job!
